Ruben took his Jeep to work today because I needed the van to take all four kids to the dentist. Yay, this should be fun.

I think we have to find a new dentist because of our new insurance. I'm so bummed, we just switched like two years ago. The dentist I see now is the first one I've ever seen where I don't leave with a mouthful of blood and gauze. I wonder how much it costs without the insurance

I would have given you the eggs. I don't really like eggs--the only way I like eggs is in an omelet, and it has be filled with stuff & cooked really well.

I like cinnamon rolls a lot! And did you hear, if you buy a Starbucks in the morning, you can come back in the afternoon & get a medium size iced drink for $2.

I didn't tell you guys where I was last night. Sammie went to theater camp this summer (run by the community theater that she does shows for). They put on a production of "Music Man", and she had a speaking part. She was great--she got a big laugh from one of her lines--and she looked so grown up. The show was great too, these kids are very talented & they worked hard. But I'm tired today--if I hadn't taken Monday off I would have called in today.

You know I don't even think I could stomach one of those, even when I wasn't watching my weight I couldn't eat them

I think they're just too sweet. Back when I could still drink milk the only way I could eat one was to wash it down with a ridiculous amount of milk. Now it's just too much. That's what we have every year for breakfast on Christmas though- the kids picked it. Cinnamon buns and bacon. Weird, but that's kids for you

My little cousin did Beauty & the Beast this summer and we went to see it last week. The kids did a really good job, I was surprised just how good actually!

Better yet, we have a drive through Starbucks! I was so excited when I found that because I won't go through the hassle of taking all the kids in & out of their carseats for five minutes just to get a coffee drink. I tend to go more in fall & winter though because I can't have milk anymore but Starbucks will make all the hot drinks with soymilk instead

I Starbucks. I have fond memories of the summer I was 16 and dated a college guy who worked at Starbucks- it was across the parking lot from the clothing store I worked at so I would go see him and get free drinks all day. And cups full of chocolate whipped cream.

I don't like coffee but I like espresso and cappuccino. It's so weird.

Thanks Missy. I didn't see that. I'll have to keep it in mind.

Right now I am watching the Disney vacation planning video and reading trip reports. Gee, you'd think I was missing being at Disney!!!

Yes, it's pretty quiet here amongst the Amish! I truly have horse and buggies go through our development. It's sad--they had 4 children, the youngest is 6. The husband was arrested this week.


The cinnamon buns look wonderful, BTW!

DS11 and DS8 both had teeth removed today (2 adult, and 4 baby). UGH! They did pretty well, even through the novacaine shots--until they put them toward the roof of their mouths. then they howled. DS8 was crying before they even got near him after he heard the other one yell! After that it only took about 5 minutes and no more tears. But I thought they'd be laying around. Nope! Wanted to run outside, and I caught one trying to eat Doritos!

On the cool side, the hygienist let them keep the teeth, even tho they shouldn't. Or is that gross?
