More Booze, Babble & Bananas

I didn't tell you guys where I was last night. Sammie went to theater camp this summer (run by the community theater that she does shows for). They put on a production of "Music Man", and she had a speaking part. She was great--she got a big laugh from one of her lines--and she looked so grown up. The show was great too, these kids are very talented & they worked hard. But I'm tired today--if I hadn't taken Monday off I would have called in today.

Yes, it's pretty quiet here amongst the Amish! I truly have horse and buggies go through our development. It's sad--they had 4 children, the youngest is 6. The husband was arrested this week.


The cinnamon buns look wonderful, BTW!

DS11 and DS8 both had teeth removed today (2 adult, and 4 baby). UGH! They did pretty well, even through the novacaine shots--until they put them toward the roof of their mouths. then they howled. DS8 was crying before they even got near him after he heard the other one yell! After that it only took about 5 minutes and no more tears. But I thought they'd be laying around. Nope! Wanted to run outside, and I caught one trying to eat Doritos!

On the cool side, the hygienist let them keep the teeth, even tho they shouldn't. Or is that gross?

I forgot you lived in Amish country. That murder really must have shocked the town! I'm glad they caught the husband. I feel sorry for the kids.


Glad after a rocky start pulling the kids teeth wasn't so bad. That is nicel the hygenist let them kep the teeth. I don't know if that's gross. Isn't it the same as saving your first tooth? Did she give it them in a bag or something?

Really? Not any? I love cereal with lots of fruit, like strawberries, blueberries and bananas.

I'll eat cereal once in a while, but I'm not really fond of it. I don't like milk either, so that may be part of the reason. Even when I was a kid, I didn't eat it much. When I eat it, I'll eat granola, Honey Bunches of Os, Froot Loops. Sometimes Rice Krispies, but not often. I do like rice krispy treats!
