over all, very well. He still has a little jaundice around his eyes and has acid reflux , but really, he's doing great. I love his go with the flow attitude

Well Canada is just a stones throw away from here!!!!!!!!!!! We may need a road trip.

Congrats! You all look like you really enjoy being together. That is our goal- that when our kids are grown they will still like to hang out with us. (and vice versa too )

I pray that’s the case. It will be hard when they leave the nest. But it’s going to happen probably sooner than later. They are growing/grew up so fast.

All are asleep now. So I'm off to do my chores like dishes, laundry, pot stirring, dog poop, etc.

Curse-ed dirty laundry! disposible clothes!

I still think I must have brushed against some poison ivy in the woods when I was off the trails. If I stay on the trails, I'm not touching anything and it's never a problem. It just seems odd I could get it right through my clothes. Wehn I had poison oak before it looked positievly gruesome, but it didn't itech as badly and it didn't hurt. With the poison ivy, it hurts all the time like a sunburn. I'm still pretty miserable.

Kay, does Tornado go outside? My Conor got a mild case of p.I. when he was a BABY because the cat had been in the woods, and then rubbed up against him when he was laying on his lil blankie on the floor. Maybe kitty brought it home to you?

Hey all! I'm back from camp.

twinks- back when I could bake and stuff (pre surgery), I added almond extract to everything too! My friend has a really good trifle recipe that uses amaretto creamer and cool whip to make white chocolate pudding. mmmm. layer it with pound cake and fruit for yummy deliciousness!

I'm going to try it one of these days with sugar free pudding, cool whip free (I've made it with both of these) and instead of the creamer, skim milk with almond extract (haven't tried this yet).
And angel food cake instead of the pound cake.

Yum Celery! I love to diet down calorie laden recipes. I ususally like the lighter versions better and anything with angel food cake and cool whip free has got to be goog! My mom made this fat free trifle a couple of summers ago.. I will have to get that recipe! And switch the fruit to chocolate and amaretto.

Which of course reminds me to send a big MOOOO HOOOTY to Moo!

We are back on track with the house stuff. We are taking the loss and moooving on. With that stress gone, I am back to my normal (?) sunny self. I spent all day yesterday hanging out with friends- it was wonderfu but today I need to get back to work. Packing actually gets harder the more you get done.

Looks like a lot of people were up late last night. Me too and I am tired today.

Days like these I wish I drank coffee, but thanks anyway Underdog.

It is still cold outside. Was only 44 F when I went to bed last night and still feels that way this morning.

Kay -- I think Lowell gave it too you.... Saw your Meet picture from the weekend. I spotted Lowell's hat first. Is he still wearing the little round glasses? The picture was pretty far away to get everyone in.

Twinkie -- happy packing. I hate the last stuff to pack because it is usually odds and ends and you don't think it is much but turns out to be boxes and boxes.

Maybe Babynurse is collecting some more baby names or just enjoying summer holidays with her kids.

Good Morning

What a night! I finally got to sleep around 1:30am! UGH! We have a bunch of boring errands to run today and that's about it. I'm just happy that I was able to get DD to eat her breakfast today. She started about a week ago not wanting to eat anything for breakfast and she used to eat so much! Hopefully she's getting back to her old ways again

Twinkie - I'm happy everything has worked out with your house! Packing and unpacking is the worst but well worth it! Escpecially for that gorgeous house

UnderDog- can you make mine with Postum? (google it if you don't know, it'll make you chuckle). It's the coffee of choice in Utah. Except it doesn't actually contain coffee per say.

Nab- It's fetching cold (46*) today. And it's raining and is generally yucky out. That's what the weather man said anyway.

Moo- 30! That's wonderful! I'm on my way to a smaller size myself. I want magic, though. NOT exercise.

Kimmie!- How's my favorite mean mama? Hoping things are well with y'all.

Twinkie- Glad the stress is lifted! Just slap the rest in a box and mark it "Misc" What fun for later! A dirty sock, a spoon, some legos, a half used box of glad sandwich bags, a popsicle , a waded up kleenex, assorted bills, and coupons....all in one box.

Disneymommy- You are wayyyy too chatty.

Betsy and Marita- Nice talking to you last night!!!!!!! Glad you finally got to sleep! I barely made it to bed, I was so tired.

Little Blue- Reflux is hard! I'm not sure there's any real helpful advice on that. Seems like my kids only had it when they had on their Sunday clothes.

It is another beautiful day here in the state that started a nation.

My husband is taking tonight off so he can get "stuff" done before our cruise. He is busy working in the garden,getting ready to transplant the shrubs.
Me? Well, we'll leave for Philadelphia around 1 on Sunday, so I'll start packing around 11:30 or so
