You guys make me laugh with the bathing suit and Jessica Rabbit dress talk :rotfl:

I'm making quesadillas for dinner...first time! Wish me luck with it! I've had a brand new quesadilla maker for quite some time now and have never used it. I decided today that I cannot take seeing one more commerical from Taco Bell so it's coming out of hiding folks! :cool1:

I just finished up the oh so fun chore of cleaning up dog doo! YUCK! DD insists on being in our back yard and it's driving me nuts worrying about the doo!

Guess what?!?!?!

We might have to cancel the September trip! Woo hoo! :cool1: :cheer2: :yay: :woohoo:

I haven't told tammy yet. So don't tell her. :rotfl2:

Ya know that checkbook thing I never balance? Well, I finally decided to balance it.
Oops!

So - I need help in finding ways to make $433 a month feed me and Tammy (remember, I have to have lean protein - which is more expensive than beans and rice, for some reason) and also pay for our gas (if we carpool, 65 miles a day. If we can't carpool, 98 miles a day! WOOO! We're on fire).
Oh yeah - and tammy's meds are kind of important. but maybe she can go without them? Hmm.
Any ideas?

Cel- got an extra kidney? JUST KIDDING. I know, buy a house from me.... we give 'em away!

Seriously- you will be amazed at how much you can "tighten the belt" as DH likes to say.

Am I the only one thinking of Annette Funicello in "Babes in Toyland"

If we walk on our hands
instead of on our feet
Will what we save in shoe repair
Help to make ends meet?

BETSY: I'm coming to your house for dinner. Is that ok? p.s. I bought a new bathing suit this year too. Guess what color? ZACKLY the same as yours! chocolate brown on bottom, turquoise on top. That was so weird that you said that! OH, and Addison isn't really all that popular. now MADISON, that's a different story.

Twinks: Yup "A" names. Maybe you could name the baby Aladdin or Augustus or Aloyiscious or Antonio Banderas. Just because I think Antonio Banderas has THE coolest name ever. Say it out loud. It practically rolls off of your tongue. BTW, wasn't that funny about the baby named Atticus? I immediately thought of you.

LilG: That's what my friend, Tricia, told me. Better start signing up for extra shifts so we can all go. I hope it works out!

Celery: did you say CANCEL your trip?:guilty:

UtahM: Fever? Poor you.

Nab: we're headed to the ball park. How about you?

:wave2: to the rest of you.

Babynurse-- we have a game tomorrow night. We had swimming tonight. Our team did better on Monday we only lost 10-4 and they only started getting runs the last 4 innings.

Celery -- Why are you so happy that you have to cancel in Sept?:confused3

Twinkie --how could someone return your adorable kids early. Well at least you know your swim suit fits for now. Hurry before it is too late.

Betsy -- Dinner sounds great. We had McDonald's even though Nicholas didn't pass this round. No one did in his class so he wasn't bummed about it.

McDonald tried to give him a whole wheat bun which he won't eat. Then they said the white ones were all frozen. I was wondering why it took them 10 minutes to make a sandwich. So they gave him a Mcflurry free. Only after I complained about it taking too long.

Hi guys!

I was so busy today I never got a chance to get online. All I've had time to do is check my PM's and post this message. I'll catch up later. Hope everyone is well. I spent the morning boxing up winter clothes and size 12-18 boy clothes. (which I hope not to have to EVER bring out again)

Moo - You PM. I'm LMBBO! (laughing my big butt off) Perfecto!

We went to the library tonight. I got lots of books for the boys. Chad asked the librarian to help him find some 1st grade reading level books for Jeremiah. She led him to Spot books. LOL! I guess if that's first grade reading level I've done a goog job. I went and found something harder for him. I also got The Time Travelers Wife. Twinkie said it was goog. Plus we got a buttload of TV on DVD to watch.

I might go to the beach tomorrow. But I think the weather is supposed to be yucky again.

UnderDog- can you make mine with Postum? (google it if you don't know, it'll make you chuckle). It's the coffee of choice in Utah. Except it doesn't actually contain coffee per say.

Okay, I had to Google it… Coffee that’s not really coffee. That’s a lot like Cyber Coffee!!!! ;) (I wonder if I could sell Cyber Coffee) why not people bought the pet rock!!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: UM – Postum you got it.:thumbsup2

Sell your eggs, have a bikini car wash, dog walk, sell Tammy's drugs on e-bay,
sew your own clothes, eat Ramen Noodles (we've done this!) for lunch and dinner, Give home haircuts, no more Bare Minerals Make up, DRINK TAP WATER, baby sit, make wine in your bathtub, churn your own butter, save bacon grease to make bar soap, use oil lamps instead of electricity, save pop cans and scrap metal.....

This is 100% fact: At BYU....they make capuccinos and other coffee drinks.....

out of Postum!!!!!!!

Goog evening MOO OUT and to everyone who is around tonight! Thanks for the weight loss moo hooties. I'm not melting away like Celery, but it has been at a decent enough rate when I set my mind to it ;)

Of course, I would still love to inhale a few of Betsy's cupcakes - YUM :)

Don't cancel your trip, Cel!!!!! We want to meet you!

I'm posting from the hair salon - time to cover up the gray. What does Pumba call that???

There has been such a flurry of PMs this week, MommyP, that you'll have to PM me which one was so funny. I cleaned out my mailbox last night, so I can't check.

Back later after I get home . . .

Hi everyone!

Another stressful day here, but made it to the deadline in time :yay:

Celery, go with the Ramen noodles, don't cancel!!!!!!!!!!!

Twinikie, Moo Hoo to the stress relief! and getting the 2400 post.

Moo, I have to color my hair this weekend too, but I get it from a bottle...

DH mowed the lawn today (on the riding mower) and took out the trash and recycle  He is still hobbling, but without crutches. Hopefully he will be back to work next week and out of my space in the mornings........

Marita I am glad your hubby is getting around more. He was probably getting bored sitting at home.

I have yet to dye my hair. I used to dye it when I was in my 20's. I wanted to be a blonde.....:lmao: But haven't dyed it since I met hubby. He didn't like the blonde look. :confused3 He also doesn't like it short.

Watching Canada's Next Top Model. American Inventor I might watch that. Saw some of it last season.

Yes, DH was getting bored. He is going to see the Dr. Friday for a check and hopefully get released to work. But I'm not sure who much he can do cause his job involves so much walking.

I am watching American Inventor.

Hey Everyone!

Just finally sitting down since DD is in bed!!! Watching Y&R on my tivo. Started watching the celeb impersonator show...it's a little strange!

Marita/Nab/Moo - I used to be a blonde and for some reason right before I got pregnant I went back to brunette...Thank the Lord! I cannot imagine not getting my blonde roots fixed for 9 months :scared1: I now just get highlights and go when I want instead of on a strict 5 week schedule.

Celery - You might have to cancel your trip??? :sad1: I hope things work out for you!

Moo - I'll send you a virtual cupcake...all the fun and no calories :)

Marita - Congrats on meeting your deadline :yay: and for your DH's great recovery!

OK, I am NOT a coffee drinker, but I have to ask what is the point of Postum? And why don't Mormons drink coffee, if you would be so kind as to enlighten us, Uma

Moo- 30! That's wonderful! I'm on my way to a smaller size myself. I want magic, though. NOT exercise.
I sure would love some magic too! :wizard:

Moo- popcorn:: What's new? (LOL!)
Where did you go for chatting last night - the old place? Or did I just miss you. We definitely need to get on the same chat schedule so I can catch you up :lmao: And vice versa . . .

Underdog- I'll take a cup of tea please:)

Hi Moo! how's the grandpup?
Poly and UnderDog - I'm a tea girl also.

My DD said the puppy is growing like crazy! Can't wait to see him next month. He can start puppy class soon :)

Hey all. I just got done at the doctor with Tammy. She had to have a tube put in one of her ears. :(
Poor thing! But hopefully it will make things better and keep her from getting worse.
Hey, Tammy - hope you're feeling OK tonight

Aww, this was so sad.

On American Inventor, they just had this little freckled faced 10 yr old boy on. He was really nervous. His invention was to attach a packet of wipes in a bag to the front of diapers, so they would be handy. He got a yes from George Foreman, and no's from the 3 other judges (no "inventive" enough"). You could just see how sad he was. As they sent him offstage, George Foreman said, "come on, I'll walk out with you". Backstage his mother was waiting and he ran to her and started crying. George was so nice to him though.

I haven't had my hair colored for a few months - since I am sensitive to a lot of chemicals, I get the semi-permanent color at the salon and she is able to match my natural color pretty well. It gradually fades out, so no roots, just my normal salt and pepper colored hair :rotfl:

Betsy, thanks for the cyber cupcake!!! I noticed on the CB that you're a Y&R fan. I grew up watching that show, but only catch it occasionally. When I do, it's usually kind of hard to figure out what has happened. I am not hard core enough to TiVo it, but I do happen onto it every now and again on the Soap channel, like if I'm having trouble sleeping (lot of that going around lately)

Tammy- hope you're feeling ok ! I used to get tubes in my ears all the time- it was simply wonderful being able to hear!
Here's a funny thing to do once in a while ( since you aren't supposed to blow your nose with tubes) - lightly blow your nose and watch your hair fly up over your ears as the air exits through them!

Hi Moo! I see you're online!

Marita- we once met George Foreman at lunch at Cindy's. He was so nice!

Tammy's good. Thanks for asking, y'all.
Nab -I'm not happy about maybe missing the trip - I was being sarcastic with the silly smilies.

We'll see how it goes for the next two months. I'm not cancelling it until August 18th (30 day deadline for the resort). So hopefully we can be good, not spend a lot and still afford to go.

Celery, maybe you can sell some of your now too big clothes at a consigment shop?

Did George say no to anything tonight. I felt sorry for that little boy too Marita.

Celery -- hope you don't have to cancel. Hope Mommy P doesn't have to cancel either but I do understand the money thing.

Hi Poly :wave2:
