Good Morning

What a night! I finally got to sleep around 1:30am! UGH! We have a bunch of boring errands to run today and that's about it. I'm just happy that I was able to get DD to eat her breakfast today. She started about a week ago not wanting to eat anything for breakfast and she used to eat so much! Hopefully she's getting back to her old ways again

Twinkie - I'm happy everything has worked out with your house! Packing and unpacking is the worst but well worth it! Escpecially for that gorgeous house

Yum Celery! I love to diet down calorie laden recipes. I ususally like the lighter versions better and anything with angel food cake and cool whip free has got to be goog! My mom made this fat free trifle a couple of summers ago.. I will have to get that recipe! And switch the fruit to chocolate and amaretto.

Which of course reminds me to send a big MOOOO HOOOTY to Moo!

30 lbs gone!!!!!! WOW! That is more than Golden Child weighs. You are down a whole toddler person Moo. Keep up the goog work!

We are back on track with the house stuff. We are taking the loss and moooving on. With that stress gone, I am back to my normal (?) sunny self. I spent all day yesterday hanging out with friends- it was wonderfu but today I need to get back to work. Packing actually gets harder the more you get done.

Can you believe DH had the nerve to use my PC for work purposes! I have been going nuts but at least was able to watch Y&R and a show that I watch on MTV (yes, I still watch a few shows on MTV, I can't give them up)! I'm also skimming through America's Got Talent.

Cupcake Update
I made the cupcakes today! I ended up making Paula Deen's Red Velvet Cupcakes with cream cheese frosting....YUMMY, YUMMY, YUMMY! I have never made red velvet cupcakes only a traditional cake but I am very happy! Had to walk an extra 20 minutes tonight thanks to those darn cupcakes! Thanks for the tips Twink! I love amaretto and almond flavoring, it makes bakes good taste soooooooooo much better!
Nab - What a great DH you have! I love surprises!

Celery - Camp sounds fun! Hope you are getting some rest! That makes for a long day!

Marita - Do you like the talent show? I didn't realize it was 2 hours. I really liked the family that performed...DD was dancing all around to them! I also liked the dog performance but they didn't make it through

Ohhhh, in my tired state, I almost forgot the bestest news. I was talking to my friend Tricia at work and she said they are going to WDW in Oct. Her dh has never been, her kids, 8 & 6, have never been, and she hasn't been in 17 years!! So, of course she came to me for advice and I said when is your fall break, and she told me, and I said "ours too!" and then I said "I am so going with you and we're going to the Halloween party TOGETHER!" and she said .

SO, I call dh and told him my new idea, and he said "ok, look into it. If you really want to go, let's go"

It's a definite tentative maybe. I would love to see her kids faces when they go to the MNNSHP for the first time. Her ds's favorite holiday is Halloween. I am now her official trip planning guide. Do you think I should charge her commission or since she's a close personal friend, just give her a freebie this time?

My other friend, Danielle said "I wanna go too!" And then another nurse, Kendra, chimes in "well if you guys are going, I'm going too!" I told them to pack their bags. WDW will never know what hit them!!!

after spending an hour and a half trying to dig up the smallest of our azaleas, we have mutually agreed that it would be better to just buy new shrubs for my husband's new garden. Can't have him throwing out his back or doing something worse! so, after his nap( he worked all night and hasn't slept) we're off to the nursery.

Well my babysitter called and offered to take all my kids to the pool

giving me some of this mythical "free" time (I am on the look out for some "saved" money, and maybe a pegasus) which I should be using to pack up a box according to Utah's timely instructions (can I trade out the popsicle for three McD's toys?) but I might just take a wee bitty nap.

I am supposed to meet them at the pool in a couple of hours. Is this a safe place to share that my youngest bathing suit is 9 years old? I am scared to try it on

Uma - I hope you feel better! I LOVE watching old tv shows too! I could live with Nick at Nite on all of the time (other than when my crazily addictive reality shows are on ) I enjoyed chatting last night too!

Of course this is a picture of Paula's and I have to be honest and say that mine don't look as pretty. I also skipped putting the nuts on top but they are VERY tasty! I'm a big Paula fan, I use quite a few of her recipes. Why can't you bake?

BabyNurse - You must be tired but I still envy your job! Is the name Addison getting popular? I really like it but I hate when names become so overused. Not that I need it anytime soon but just for future use you know!

Poly - Landscaping can be rough! DH and I decided one year to rip out all of the big shrubs in front of our house and redo everything. Let me tell ya, it almost did us in! I have never made so many trips to the local nursery in my life. Everytime we thought we were finished, we needed something else. Needless to say, I barely do anything now because of that experience! You need rest for your cruise!!!!

Celery - Hope Tammy is doing ok...that sounds painful!

Nab - I'm tired too from being up so late. Hopefully tonight will be better! Any good shows for us to watch tonight?

My youngest bathing suit was 6 years old until last week. I broke down and finally bought a new one. I rarely wear my suit and hate looking for new ones. I did get a pretty chocolate brown and turquoise one though.

i had no knowledge of..the girl delivering her dress..has goten lost...
and it was a "mad" scramble to get it on! life..has many of tender~loving

Exactly. Someone snuck me a diet Coke. My headache is mostly gone, but I have a fever and am stiff necked still. I'm surprised in not in renal failure or something.

I'm fairly certain Jessica Rabbit's dress would fit perfectly (in my dreams) I'd have to invest in some serious double sided tape (ouch) to hold it up. And the bottom half would look like a pork kielbasa stuffed into a red satin snack-sized ziplock baggie. Other than that, perfect.

I did buy a new one early this spring.... with polka dots even... and then found out I was pregnant so I returned it. I tried them on, gathered my courage, put on sunblock but then the babysitter called and wanted to return my darling children early. I can't imagine why....

I did use my "free" time to sneak some old toys out of the house into a friends garage..... buwhahahahahaha


Utah! you have SUCH a way with words... kielbasa indeedy. I thought we were all getting matching sarongs this year... or was that just for the superbowl????
