I'm here, I caught a bit of shut-eye. Missed AI, but it's on Tivo, so don't tell me who got kicked out.

So word leaked out about my new assistant today, not with too positive response. Life should be interesting soon. However, I dd learn recently she is a member on some message board online (I don't know which one) and spent 3 days taking a Flat Stanley all over the parks and to the beach, so she can't be all bad.

Anyway, I sent her a welcome e-mail tonight. It was kind of weird to not acknowlege her before the announcement, since rumors were spreading.

Thanks Moo, the colours are even more vibrant then it shows here. It is one of the favourite ones that I have done.

I have a winter scene with a church and horse and sleigh in it at night. That is my all time favourite. It is in my bedroom.

I took up cross stitching when my first husband died. It made my nights go by. I worked on that for 5 hours today. I should be really calm tonight but I am not.....

I'm planning on skipping the Imagination pavillion since we're only there 4ish days.

I want to wake her up so bad! I'm so excited! I booked my flight to leave at 7 am because I figured she'd want to make the 6:30 AM flight from Nashville.
Wrong. She's not leaving until 9:55 and won't arrive until 12:40. I arrive at 10:40, so I have two hours here and two hours there in the airport. At least Kansas City has free wifi.

It's so cute - there's a little girl here waiting as well with her family. I want to ask them so bad if they're going to Disney World, but if they're not, I don't want to put it in her head that she SHOULD be going.
But we all know she should be.

I hope I don't bug you guys talking about my trip so much.

Marita - I hope things go well with the new assistant. It'd be weird if she hangs out on this board.

Sorry, I was referring to when the cross stitch boxes jump/move on you. If I've been cross stitching for a while my eyes get a little frozen and I can't see the boxes right.

Uma should be coming home soon, right? How come NO ONE knows when she's coming back????

Kelly - Three years old and climbing out of bed? Kaleb started climbing out of his crib when he was a little over a year. None of mine ever stayed in their beds all the way until 3!! Make his room totally safe and lock his door. If he can unlock it, but a child safe door knob cover, if he learns how to dismantle it, turn the door knob around so you can lock it from the outside.

Celery - Are you going to check in while you're at WDW? I hope so! We would love to hear a play by play of your trip!! Sept. seems so far away...

Our stray cat was MIA yesterday, so I figured she was having her babies. She just showed up all skinny again. I hope her babies are okay out there! I would have taken her inside for it all but if I got caught with her we could get kicked out. We have to pay a $250 pet deposit per pet. I guess time will tell if they follow her out of the foods.

Little Blue-- you are right on the cross stitch. On one I did of the Last Supper I missed two blocks. One guy ended up with a skinner face. You couldn't tell anything was wrong with it though. I have pulled out many mistakes that is for sure.

Worse is it I think I need bifocals I have to take my glasses off to do the cross stitch but need my them to watch TV while I am doing it. So I'm putting them on and off all the time.

Kelly -- none of mine climbed out of the crib at all. Nicholas was tall enough just didn't. Maybe I should put them back in cribs so they stay put

Celery-- That cross stitch is 14X14. I have done much bigger. Have a great time this weekend.

When Anthony was out of the crib they kids got bunk beds. We out Anty in the top we knew he wouldnt jumo out. Hes been fine in it for a year now. All of a sudden last night he just climbed down the ladder. My DH was like DOH! It was a long night and I am sure nap time will not be fun today.

It totally stresses me out and depresses me when the house is messy. As much as I would rather go take a nap, I know I have to clean...and make a grocery list. How can I make a grocery list when I don't even want to think about food?
