We're starting the process of becoming foster parents. I think it will be very good for us to not be so selfish and devote our time to helping people.
So any and all parenting/fostering advice would be appreciated.
I also have it on good authority from two different sources that us eventually adopting will not be a problem, we'll just only be able to have one name on the paperwork.

On the home front, remember I told you the other day that DH went grocery shopping the other day with his fractured foot and and mowed the lawn. I told him I think he overdid it, and he even agreed. Well, he just got back from the doctor, who said he wants to see him again in 3 weeks and is sending him to a physical therapist. DH came home in big pain, and said he would not be driving a car for a while, and how is going to be able to get to a therapist.

Anyway, end result is that it looks like he will be home for 3 more weeks at leas!!!!!!! Dagnabbit!! He interferes with my morning routines when he is home. And I am sure his work won't be happy either.

Celery-- good for you on the Foster children. We were going to do that too when were trying to adopt. But then I got pregnant.

How the heck is everyone? Is it back to school time yet, or at the least vacation????

Sheesh!

Been a wild couple of weeks here. My mom had surgery on Tuesday but is doing well. We had our church conference/business meetings last week and today we are possibly buying a new truck. Yippee!!!!

A new Truck? That reminds me of that old Hewie Lewis song about a new "drug" but I thought it was a new TRUCK! I sang it good and loud too. My version didn't make any sense!

I agree with MommyP, he is adorable! I just love how is almost drowning in his diaper, LOL.

I just looked at a report that said we hired 1,110 new housekeepers in Resorts between 10/1/06 and 5/12/07. Blows my mind!!

thank you all for the compliments. Sure wish they made a size newborn and a 1/2 or a 1/2 size to a 1. Just saw the photo again and yes, that diaper is eating TJ up -lol.

I just spent 45 minutes sending some information to someone at work. He emailed me at 4 pm on Friday afternoon, because he needs it first thing Monday for someone else.

I just hate it when someone else's lack of planning becomes my firedrill (on a sick day even)
