Sandy, be sure to plan in a rest period your first day. We were exhausted our first day after a 7 am flight! We were falling asleep on benches at the MK. The heat and humidity and the fact that my knee was grinding at every step sure didn't help either! After that I was easily able to talk DH into trying a scooter the next day (which turned out to be his favorite "ride").

Also, we had too late of a dinner at DTD and were uncharacteristically ready for bed by the time we made it back to our room. That's why I didn't make it to the Glow Party.

I'm not getting the Dis to load!!

Watching Housewives of Orange county :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

1st night - oh we are eating at Yachtsman - hope to eat at Beaches and Cream, pick up our packets... and well early night:rolleyes1

an update on Grasshopper.

He is doing much better. This year's virus is particularily nasty but he had a "medium" case so I am thankful that he wasn't much sicker. Now that he is acting more himself and isn't so pale and wheezing so hard, I am very relieved... and ironically more scared. He just got gradually worse and worse that I didn't realize how labored his breathing was until he was put on oxygen in the hospital. (Side note: Children's hospitals rock. You hope not to need them but if you do they are the place to be. This was my third stay at a children's hospital. And I have another visit on the horizen in the next year with Twinkerbell.)

He has regained the weight he lost. Yay! He is eating and sleeping on a much more normal schedule. He is still coughing and has periods where you can tell he is working hard to breathe. The doctor was pleased but said to keep a good watch on him because the virus should take about another week to run it's course and he could get worse again in that time. I am supposed to call her on Friday to touch base before the weekend.

He hasn't projectile vomited since Friday night so it might be a side effect from the general bronchial irritation that the virus causes.... that was the opinion of the day dr at the hospital anyway. My pediatrician and I are taking a more "wait and see" approach. I would love to think that the beurking is over. He is still spitting up but it is normal baby spit up not the Exorcist like experience it was.

We had great medical care from all the professionals. I loved the doctor on call at nights. He did a great job of communicating what was going on, what could happen, what should happen and addressing my concerns.

Sure. Just tell Snarkgirl to "scootch" over. I even throw snacks out once and again. Does anybody remember that tv show "Once and Again"? Just free associating, ignore me.

I'm all scootched. But, Cel, you might want to BYO snacks. (The BBN is a trifle Scrooge-esque when it comes to doling out the goodies.)

babycow - Yay! Stalker party at sunnybrook farm!

Big L - steal us some popcorn!

You got it, sistah!

Evening! I was too busy with work today to post, but I did sneak in a little reading! Melinda, loking forward to seeing hat word you made. Lynette is ahead of me currently!!!

Don't worry, Moo...I'm sure it won't last! :rotfl:

Twinkie, great news about Grasshopper!!

I am so glad! I hope he continues on the road to recovery, poor baby :cloud9:

I had somethng else to say here, but it so long to update, I forgot what it was

Aren't you happy now?

Twink, what a relief that Grasshopper is doing so much better! I'm sure the big brothers and sisters are happy to have you both home again.

Did you manage to get your house less frat-like? Less "protein spills" probably makes cleanup easier.

Lynette, you're still ahead by a little bit even after I had a darn good play

Sandy, don't worry if we don't finish our game before you leave! I know you'll be busy tomorrow. However, I'm happy to play if you are :rolleyes1

I deleted that one game between you, me, and Marita. It is not a problem to delete if there are less than 4 moves - it doesn't show up in the stats.

Moo, I think I wrote down most birthdays a while back during a Friday night chat....let me check and I'll get back to you. I know there are some that I didn't get though.

Off to bed, ladies. Sweet dreams!

It looks like we're almost done -

I just took a job for the 15 - 16- 17 :faint:

but we're so poor, and the teacher requested me!! :goodvibes It will be an "easy" job, if I can make it to work on the 15th! I havent worked hardly at all - I havent even earned my 20 day bonus!! (which is $200 that we NEED - or I could spend in Disney!!)

and I'm going to say it here - among friends -

I'm so glad Hilary won NH - mainly because I was getting disgusted with the media having her all finished, and Obama THE WINNER - only 2 states in - and they've declared a winner!!

It's almost as if no one should know what the outcome of the primaries are until the convention!! REALLY - something oughta change!! imho

(stepping off soapbox) (hah I suppose I might feel differently if I was heavily into supporting any one of the candidates!! lol)

I'm not exactly a Clinton fan, but I kind of feel the same way, Sandy. And making such a big deal over her emotional answer :sad2: I HATE ELECTIONS!!!

It is so nice to be specially requested - way to go on the job!

Lynette, that is great if you have a birthday list going! I am ready for bed too. We are still neck and neck and I left you a goog opening (payback).

DD was sitting here watching move tiles... :rotfl2: I didnt realize it was so late, she said, can you ask her to just let you win one game?? :rotfl2:

ah dd - she does have a hard time losing, so I'd rather she watch me lose and have fun (I keep lol at some of the words I create!!) then win at all cost (a problem she has!! she tends to cheat at games, which makes all of us leery of playing games with her - so I like her to watch people lose and still have fun - its all about fun, not so much winning and losing...

:rotfl2: except in politics!!

are you still awake Moo???

I'm waiting to play one more word... :rolleyes1

not that I'm addicted or anything!! :rotfl2:

ok DS wants his laptop back

Nighty nite!!

GOOG MORNING! :sunny:

Got up super-duper early, got up, made coffee, turned on the DIS....and DS woke up. So I had to go back and lay down with him to get him back to sleep and now I'm running late-ish.

Twinkie....Such good news about the little sweet man.

MOO! AHHHH! I was so busy at work yesterdee that I didn't get to play Scrabulous! Today!

Lynette....I have lots of people on the birthday list who are on the peeps thread. Maybe we can combine to come up with a goog birthday list.

Sandy! I'm so glad you got DVC and DDP all worked out! What a relief! Tell me again who's taking care of DD?

ATTENTION: ONLY 12 MORE SHOPPING DAYS TIL LYNETTE'S BIRTHDAY!

How did this guy get on the default smilie list? ------> :duck:

HAVE A GREAT DAY EVERYONE!

Good morning!

Another rainy warmish day here. Perfect Donald weather.

Lots of rain, my sub pump is working overtime.

Matt's band concert was last night. They were really good, for 6th grade band. He surprised me with a piece he did with a small group. Proud mom moments.

Sandy and Allie have a great trip! Don't cha leave today? Good luck with your runs.

Don't forget to check your scrabble games!

Good Morning!!

Hard to find you guys this morning!!

Too excited to sleep!! (you see Cheryl and I are probably 2-4 words away from finishing a game!! :rolleyes1 )

it has nothing to do with all the work needed to be done, just because we leave in 20 hours.... TWENTY HOURS :faint:

dont know how we're getting to the airport, dont know anything about money... Havent taken down my last tree, havent done my hair - Dont tell WENDY - I took the scissors to my hair yesterday - I needed more layers, my hair has grown!! Cant find my ipod cord :sad2:

How depressing. You go along just living your life not trying to make trouble for anybody. Then, BOOM. One day you wake up and find yourself dressed up like food in an advertisement.

Great post WT. Thanks for sharing. It looks like your tv career is really taking off!:thumbsup2

My favorite current add is the Subway one where the ref agrees to penalize the other team "for no good reason"

No time to find y'all a link right now though apparently the moon is aligned with Venus and the DIS is working for me.

MommyP- Glad to hear you are doing well and you got a nice laid back healthy baby!

Mony- Glad Matt felt well enough to go to the concert.

Hiya all you Scrabulous players.
