HAPPY NEW YEAR MY NEWFOUND FRIENDS!!!!​

I wasn't able to be on yesterday due to a new webkin being adopted at our house. We had an uneventful NYE, but was spent with the four of us watching a movie, and celebrating at midnight.

I missed a lot, and have to go back and read (not skim). Congrats on baby Isaac, MommyP! Nice of you to send your brother with the news. (I did read that post )

PJ - Sorry I missed your birthday! Sounds like it was a good one except for the puking friend.

I'm with Sandy, trying to sort everything out. I am about ready to throw all the plans out the window, and just go down there and fly by the seat of my pants! That's how I live everyday life, so why should Disney be any different?

Happy New Year, Allie! Glad to have you here Maybe you and Sandy could just make a list of your "must do" activities. That's what my friends and I did last year and it worked pretty well. We probably did 80% of what was on our list. Not too shabby for a group of 5.

I am researching projectile vomiting in infants online. Not a whole lot of useful info out there.

Well we actually sat around the table and talked, sometimes uninterrupted. Then we played a game. Made it to 4 rounds before the kids took notice and joined in.

Lynette! My middle baby was 8 lbs 15 oz also! She was the big, sunny-side up baby! Ouch. I may need some bamboo socks too. Yesterday my DSIL says "I've got an idea for next Christmas! Let's go somewhere!" Me: "yeah...let's go to the beach!" DSIL: "NO! I was thinking Colorado so we could go skiing!" Me: "NO WAY! I'm always cold! It's not a vacation to go somewhere cold. Let's go somewhere warm!" Poor DSIL was hoping for a little White Christmas celebration. I was thinking "CRUISE!" I know you understand, Lynette!

You betcha I do, Melinda. What I wouldn't give for a cruise right about now!

Pumba, it's snowing again for us too. For heaven's sake, can't somebody make it stop?? Boris and Natasha are outside enjoying themselves...sledding and building snowmen and rolling around in the drifts. We've gotten about 5 inches since yesterday. Can it be Spring now, please?

Well, I made it through the dentist visit gas-free. Hmmm, that doesn't sound quite right . . .

When she said "I'm going to pop that broken piece out" it went right down the back of my throat. I sat up and coughed it out. Fun times (not)!

Now I am attempting to eat some soup. Because I didn't feel like eating earlier today.

Also, it occurred to me today that my tooth may have broken when I slipped and fell in the snow at work on Friday and I didn't realize it until it pulled loose when I was eating yesterday. Sound plausible?

Hi Allie-I collect Hallmark ornaments and I keep them all in the original boxes. So decorating/undecorating the tree takes time and organization. I have all the ornaments put away but the tree is still up just with lights.

Ok Monks on - and y'all are putting them in the boxes!! I have lots of Hallmark too - I wrap them up in tissue paper - and then in boxes, then in an ornament storage unit - - with cardboard dividers I've begun thinking about it!! It makes me sad, it makes me cry - its my first live tree in 15 years, and I made it mine - my Fantasy tree (Wizard of Oz, Disney, Gold, Red) I hate to put it away, I may never see it again..

Moo yep, that's exactly what happened, when you fell, you did jar your head, etc... and I agree with Marita $23 for gas is excellent!! Marita I hope it doesnt warm up too much!!

Sandy, did you take some photos of your tree? BTW, thanks for agreeing with me! I am going to find out tomorrow if the dentist thinks it was possible that the fall it caused my tooth to fracture. I need to get in touch with the office about my bill anyway. I jarred myself pretty good, but at least I didn't tear anything in my knee.

Sounds like people are being pretty productive today. Maybe I'll go unload my dishwasher like Marita! I'm not taking the tree down yet.
