Thanks for reporting Amanda's Brother! It is a mystery that she couldn't reach me.
I don't have any missed calls on my cell but I was at the hospital for most of the day so maybe it didn't go through I got all excited every time the phone rang but it was never Amanda. If she tried the house someone would have answered however Goldenchild has recorded our current answering machine msg without our permission (I really need to change that) so I understand how that would confuse anyone trying to leave an actual msg.

I am staying home tonight, YAY (I mean it!)
Both my kids are staying at their respective overnight places tonight, so no worries about driving tonight (YAY!)

I have to work tomorrow, but I get to do it from my couch (YAY!)

So if anyone is bored and wants to chat a little tonight, I will be around,,,,
I need to eat something, and nothing strikes my fancy

I think I will have some cream of mushroom soup and some toast.

Oh, LIl'Blue, good to see you, hope are well, and stop in more often!

Lynette, I got them at the Avenue store, which you probably don't shop at, not being plus sized. But they're much nicer than the socks I bought at Kohl's. They're not super warm, but they are oh so soft!!! I'm sure lots of places must have them. I had seen bamboo towels before. Now I'm going to try some of them.

Wendy, I am reading the recent posts on the Peeps thread. I need to get my lardbottom back over there.

Marita, glad you can work from home tomorrow!!! I feel a little bad about my dentist having to come into the office tomorrow, but I guess if she had done a crown in the first place, maybe this wouldn't have happened on a holiday

I just had some Stovetop stuffing and I chopped up some chicken breast really fine and threw that in. It worked pretty well! The mushroom soup for late lunch was goog too, but I didn't have any milk in the house DD must have used it up.

I think we are having the most boring NYE in history!!!!!!!!!! I will have DH put the ball drop on a little before midnight.

Then I watched High School Musical 2 with Boris and Natasha (she knows all the words to all the songs, as well as every dance move throughout the movie...too funny!), then I put on my pj's and plopped onto the couch for an evening of bum-laying. If I make it to midnight, I'll watch the ball drop. If not, no big whoop.

NYE is kind of anti-climactic after all the hoopla of Christmas. As long as I get a day off from work, I'm goog.
