But of course! Silly me.

We are having a very boring NYE other than visiting with our cyber friends on the DIS!!!

When is the wedding, Sandy? Maybe you can go in early December :confused3

Toots, funny pic!

I just forwarded it to some of my work buddies.

I'm, in the same boot as Moo. Just visiting and reading the Dis.

:flower: :flower: :flower: In honor of Isaac :flower: :flower: :flower:

HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYBODY!!!

I guess it was a 4-way tie for the most boring New Year's Eve. University of KY played (and won!) in the Music City Bowl yesterday so we went over to some friends' house to watch the game.

I got MommyP news on their computer last night. How exciting!!! The BNCG beat me by a hair.....I WAS CLOSE!

Came home immediately after and bum-layed for the rest of the night. Tried to read intermittently as DD and DS jumped around on my bed and watched the stupid Drake and Josh movie.

DS was so cute. I think this is the first time he has "gotten" the whole New Years thing. I had to explain the "ball dropping" and the kissing, etc. We had sparkling cider all around. And then immediately turned out the lights and went to sleep! ;)

MOMMYP!!! Congratulations, sweetie! He's a big boy so maybe he'll be a goog sleeper. I'm sure he's precious. Can't wait to see a picture. Thanks for sending your brother with the news.

Lynette! My middle baby was 8 lbs 15 oz also! She was the big, sunny-side up baby! Ouch. I may need some bamboo socks too. Yesterday my DSIL says "I've got an idea for next Christmas! Let's go somewhere!" Me: "yeah...let's go to the beach!" DSIL: "NO! I was thinking Colorado so we could go skiing!" Me:  "NO WAY! I'm always cold! It's not a vacation to go somewhere cold. Let's go somewhere warm!" Poor DSIL was hoping for a little White Christmas celebration. I was thinking "CRUISE!" I know you understand, Lynette!

Marita.....So you bought the Twilight series? Without your knowledge? I'm about 100 pages in. Pretty goog so far. I hope there's nothing gross in there. I don't like gross. That's why I quit reading Patricia Cornwell. BTW....love that lazy chat flag. Heh.

Moo
....Sometimes I wish I worked for the gubbermint. Those days off are applealing! My day off is Monday since all the other days are full of deadlines, meetings, and cooking. BUT. If a holiday falls on a Monday, I lose it as a paid day off. So last year I lost MLK day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Christmas Eve, and New Years Eve.....6 paid holidays that everyone else got that I (and my boss) didn't get. But I'm not bitter. Sort of. Trying not to be. I'm trying to get them to consider giving employees the "next day" off if a paid holiday falls on their day off. I think that's fair.

Twinkie....Glad the Grasshopper won't require surgery! :scared1: Hope you can locate the source of his trouble soon. I hate to see the little guys suffer when they can't tell you what's wrong.

EVERYBODY ELSE......:wave2:

HAVE A HAPPY & WONDERFUL NEW YEAR!

Happy New Year my friends.......I think that hubby and I had the most boring new years eve then anyone else........He watched Shrek in the living room (read new tv) and I went into the bedroom and turned on Jon and Kate plus 8......it was the episode of them in Disney.......She sure does yell alot.......hahaha...she did have help with these kids.....three of their friends were there to help with the kids......and then Kate and Jon......so there was a good ratio.....plus all the production staff too was there.....
Hope that all of you have the best year ever.......I cant believe it is 2008.....sounds like we are really getting OLD......

Happy New Year Everyone!

Congratulations Amanda. I hope you are feeling alright and spending much cuddling time with your new son.

We got snow! 4inches approx. By Saturday, 47degrees.:sad2:

Usually we stay home and do nothing on NYE but we went to my friends. The kids (all 8 of them) played and we did grown up stuff. Almost forgot what that was like.

We were home by 1am. The hole drive took us 1 minute. I love that my best friend lives in my sub.

Ok, I think I'm about to order some books online.

GOOG MORNING, SUNSHINES!!!!!

Smileys anyone? aka my lazy image for the day.

:woohoo: :yay:   :cool1: pirate: :happytv: yeah, I think I like those ones.

CONGRATULATIONS, MOMMYP!!!!!
I think the babynurse had an unfair advantage in this whole weight guessing thing. Something about her name being babynurse just seems a little suspicious.

Last night's fireworks were amazing!!! It was really a great night and a great birthday. Best in a long time. ;) We made plans to get up early this morning and go to Epcot but instead my friend spent the night...um....well, she was throwing up all night. And still is. So, we quarantined her in the second bedroom of the two bedroom condo and we're just playing games now. The pool might be in the future.

Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year!

Glad you had a great birthday PJ. How nice of the whole world to help you celebrate.

Moo- I meant to say days ago that I love your new ticker!

Monica- Tell me more about these alleged adult activities.

I am researching projectile vomiting in infants online. Not a whole lot of useful info out there.

I had one that threw up with such force that she could of blown off the wall .....and my two nephews and neices all had projectile upchucking.......back then it was called an underdeveloped esphogus.......for some reason even after every feeding they would give back (looked like) more then they took in......The kids all gained weight and were healthy....was easy to burp the babies after feedings when we were at camp or outdoors.....just aim for the dirt or the beach area and cover said yuck up.........rofl...

Just looked at the new predictions for snow totals for today and good golly Ms. Molly.....we are in the 8-12 inch area........I know you already know taht I hate the dreaded snow ......we sure have been slammed hard these last few weeks....it came all at once......with our luck.......kids who SHOULD be going back to school tomorrow will probably be home for a snow day......will let you know tomorrow.....parking bans are already being projected..

Mony, we got about the same amount of snow here . . . so much for a few flurries! The puppies were having fun out there this morning though!

Lex, that is too bad about missing out on Monday holidays  I tried the trivia. Ack!

PJ, glad to hear you had a nice birthday :woohoo: Sorry about your friend feeling yucky.

Twink, hope you can get some help for Gabe's problem. Reading medical journal articles can be a tad scary! I thought the ticker background was very appropriate so I appropriated it for my own use.

Pumba, I think several of us are tied for most boring NYE!!! :rotfl: You can keep the cold white stuff up north!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope that Amanda is having some peaceful one-on-one time with baby Isaac :grouphug:

:grouphug: Do the zen or Lamaze method of Dentistry Moo - take deep breaths, let them out slowly... take a picture - mental picture of the Castle? Bring an ipod of Off Kilter - let your mind wander to Orlando, keep taking deep breaths, letting them out very slowly as your mind takes you to Disney!!

I'm trying to plan an itinerary for Marathon Weekend, will we be able to see spectro? Fantasmic? What about the Dining Plan? Should we skip Yachtsman Steakhouse, and just eat at Casey's Hot dogs?

decisions, decisions!! and dh is just :rotfl:

Its below zero... NO way am I running outside in that - thank you very much! I'd rather be swept than run outside today!

Below zero, Sandy??! Brrrrrrrrrrr . . .

I don't have an iPod, but visualization is a goog idea. Or I may just ask for gas like Marita does :lmao:

Goog luck on your itinerary planning.
