This morning before work, I loaded up the crock pot and made chili. It was perfect for the cold snap we're having.

it's just shy of 4:30 p.m. here-almost entirely dark outside and we are sitting at 31 degreeswith dropping temps and incoming snow for a couple of days. the 'good news'in the forecast is the temp goes up so the snow will turn to rain over the weekend but then it's dropping back down (so all that snow melt and new rainwater will make for a stinking ice rink on the roads). humbug

I had Thanksgiving again the easy way, had some Hormel turkey/gravy, stovetop stuffing, instant mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce.
