I made Mickey waffles! I doubt they're as goog as if you were eating them in Disney, but I think they'll do.

QUICHE RECIPE SO YOU CAN MAKE YOUR OWN...

One frozen regular pie shell (not deep dish)
1 cup of shredded cheddar
1/2 cup of Hormel real bacon bits
1 cup heavy cream
2 eggs

Prick the pie shell with a fork and bake at 400 til golden...8-10 minutes. When cooled, fill pie shell with bacon and cheese. Mix cream and eggs. Pour over bacon/cheese. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes or until golden and fully risen. EAT! Disclaimer: I really don't measure the stuff I put in the pie shell.

When I'm making 30 quiches, I just put on the rubber gloves and put a big handfull of cheese and bacon in each crust....in fact the crust is pretty much full and the custard just fills in the open spots. If you don't want bacon put spinach, artichoke hearts, mushrooms, ham, turkey, and/or peppers in the quiche. Anything goes really! Just keep the basic quiche custard proportions the same. Throw some potatoes or fruit on the plate and yell......DINNNNNER!

last night between my inlaws in NH and us in Maine we managed to find a hotel in NY area for this wedding we are going to......most of the places were already booked and I made one ressie in Manhatten and it was like 600 bucks with parking included......almost dropped but said heck ......we need a place......so then bil found a place in Newark airport area and we are staying there and then can drive into the city and find a parking garage....I cant believe a big church and no parking available....this is nuts.......this will be in November ....hope we dont have any snow by then.....

Poor Twinkie- I wonder if there's a Mothers of Twins club around you? You need girlfriends of the real variety. There's tons of mamas who get together at our little neighborhood park, YET, I don't go! I think I will, for you. I too had a pee-smellin' princess cozy up to me alllll night long. She sleeps like a sundial, that one!

OHHHHHH! I forgot to tell y'all, I cut some gorgeous long bangs on her (CUUUUTE!) and 20 minutes later she was shmearing a tube of NeoSporin in her hair! I don't know HOW to get it out! I've shampooed her with DAWN dish soap 6 times. She has overpriced preschool at 9:00. Maybe I'll braid it into a greazy french braid.

once you move to nashville (who wants to live in Indy? babynurses be durned.), there's this really good place to get quiche called the puffy muffin. mmmmm
they also have the BEST poppyseed bread and tammy always gets chocolate chip pancakes.
oh - their hashbrown casserole is good too.

panera bread actually has a yummy quiche like thing wrapped in pastry dough.

I'm hoping Grasshopper will be a blue-loving female too. But then, a boy would be great for Goldenchild to play with. Either way, I suppose.

Since my last post, I used Dawn on Norah's Neosporin-hair 3 more times...taking time to work it in each time. It's better but not back to normal. I had set a fluffy blanket on the kitchen counter top and made a towel pillow for her to lay back on to be shampooed repeatedly and we played "Salon" (our favorite game). Her bangs are so cute! She looks older, especially with her "pack-pack" for school.

My daycare buddies are both snotty, which means we'll be getting colds too. So I'm upping the handwashing efforts and starting everyone on Cold Eze.

Utah is GORGEOUS right now! It's Autumn and it's beautiful. I love every minute of this season!

Did anyone see Lindsey Lohan shopping around Orem Utah after getting out of ReHab on TV? They made a special point of saying Utah will only serve ONE drink at restaurants and we have NO SMOKING or premarital relations so she must be being tortured...bless her heart. They interviewed the most goody goody BYU students they could find too, it was soooooo accurate

AND, Utah's sweetheart, Marie Osmond, 20 pounds overweight, is STILL on Dancing with the Stars (for some reason)... You GO girl!

doing something positive about it..so what? if she has marriage problems?
...anyone else hadn't.., what she done..took courage & family support.

but the ways...she emphases..her role as a mother..is in~deeds, very
heart warming.....exactly, what "is"...the most important values..in a
person life?...i think she is doing a much better job...getting things right
than...today party girls...yuk!...it nasty..the ways they used sex.....to
sell their bodies..away...time, will catch up.

ps, my wife has some of marie dollies..esp, the one with the lil'teddy
bear. [ i shared with my wife..what you said..about her dancing with
the stars.... , she told me, the longer marie on..she going
to make dolls from her outfits....]. ya know, collecting dolls might not
seem significant..to a marriage...but for us.....* it was the hobby to
fill in when we decided...no more....kiddos....which no chance for a lil'

I've encountered her in real life once, and she was....not very nice at all (both to me and a sales clerk). I'm sure she's only human and she certainly has been through a lot, but she was downright snooty to me. Eh! Maybe it was a bad day. A day to be randomly rude.

My sister In Law encountered her years ago on the BYU campus and Marie was rude to her too. Maybe she was having an off day then too.

I think the depression has been her burden for years. She does seem brighter in spirit these days, I notice.

Celery - I am very anti-clutter, but you can NEVER have too many burp cloths. I always have spit-uppy babies so the more the merrier.

Twinkie - Hope the dentist appointments went well. I am never so hungry that I would eat at 5am. Sometimes I don't eat until 10ish. I'm not a breakfast person unless someone else makes it for me. Which can only happen on weekends.

Uma - Post pictures of her bangs as soon as the greeze is gone. I haven't experienced neosporin in the hair, only vaseline. Which would be horrible in a girls hair, not as bad in boys.

We're having "sword bread" (french bread) pizza tonight with salad and sliced oranges. Nice and easy.

My sister came over today to hang out and we took the boys to the park after school for a couple hours. They had a blast.

Ethan has a mystery rash. Again. I'm guessing he rubbed against something his sensitive skin didn't like yesterday when he was outside playing.

In other news, my youngest sister has announced her first born son will be named Isaiah Christian(she isn't even thinking about having kids yet, because her dead beat DH doesn't want any yet, even though she should be starting because she could have years of infertility ahead of her). So that leaves Issac wide open for use.

So it will be between Noah, Issac and Simon. No middle names as of yet. Except maybe Simon Aaron.

My lips are itching like they are going to swell up. That used to happen when I was a teenager. I think it's my mind telling my lips that they should be having a reaction because I have been touching the rash on Ethan. lol.

Well the prairie has its charms. Tall grass. Buffalo. Coyotes. But I live in the city now.

And no Panera cream cheese. But I had some cream cheese so all was not lost.

I think Grasshopper is a boy. Just a hunch. But either way Grasshopper will like blue- blue clothes, blue crib sheets, blue room. MP- That is how I figured out I was pregnant this time.... in real life I am not that hungry. When I am pregnant I often wake up between 4-5 am STARVING. With the twins sometimes I would wake up at 1 am and drink chocolate milk. Go back to bed till 5 am, eat breakfast. Then go back to bed till I had to be up.

Hi everyone!

All this food talk now has me starving too. I am going to make a quiche (frozen) with a slice of texas toast.

Our cafeteria had a real entree choice today . They had a pasta bar. I got bow tie pasta with Alfredo sauce to go. Only ate 1/2 of it, so I brought the rest home for dinner. but I guess it will have to wait for tomorrow now.

I actually overheard some talk in the cafeteria about stir fry tomorrow and something else on Thursday. Could it be they finally listened to the complaints about nothing to eat there? On Monday, there were not even salads or sandwiches, just the grill and frozen food vending machine. Time will tell, I guess.

Anyway, tomorrow we have free lunch, a "thank you" affair for a big initiative. It's BBQ ribs or chicken with all the fixings, always goog!

Twinkie, sorry about the TDC thing. Been there, done that! (but only for 1, not 3)

Sitting here with The Simpsons on and they have a play based on Itchy and Scratchy that is pure spoof of The Lion King complete with the hit song, Circle of Knife. It is done with puppets just like the Broadway play. This just two nights after on the new episode Marge is at a theme park with a ride called Mr. Frog's Mild Ride.
I ws readin earlier and you'll made me so hingry I hit the KFC. I could eat chicken 7 days a week.
