Nice clothes, Nab? I saw a Judge Judy show today where a bride was suing (sp) the photographer, and one of the guests was in jeans and yellow tshirt at what looked like a pretty formal wedding

Yes I think it will be dressy clothes this time. Last year we were in pink and hubby didn't have a suit coat on because his only suit was olive green. This year he has a new black suit he got for our cruise in Jan. Nicholas also has a black suit so it will be just Hannah and I who have to find something.

Marita-- of course I remembered the fruit. How long will the tree be up this year is the real question.... I loved teasing you about that tree, I thought for sure it would be still there now.

My tree always has tons of Hallmark ornaments too, but I didn't buy many new ones last year.

Maybe if your DH and Nicholas are in black, you and Hannah could wear the same color. Maybe something contrasting like red or royal blue.

Hi everyone!

So later that afternoon, we got to take the private tour of the AKL savannah in a big truck with a private guide, which was really cool. I could have petted a giraffe. The best was really the guide telling us stories about the animals.
And I have a vacation day tomorrow

Oh, Marita! That sounds SO cool! We SOOO enjoyed staying at AKL when we were at the World. Boris and Natasha were absolutely enraptured by all the animals, and traipsed around behind any CM they could find, asking questions about the lodge and all the animals.

Hey, NAB! Go for the second Christmas tree! I have so many ornaments for our tree that last year we ended up getting a second (smaller) tree for the foyer. Plus, each of the kids has a mini (2' tall) tree with battery-operated lights and mini ornaments for their rooms. DH rolls his eyes at me when every room in the house is bedecked and bedazzled with Christmas decorations, but I think he secretly LOVES it!

Ok, so if you read my pre-trippie report, you might remember the Christmas Eve that started our whole Disney journey (from idea for a trip, taking 2 trips, and becoming DVC members). If so, you may also remember that a few of my sisters made cameos in that pre-trippie.

At any rate, I leave tomorrow afternoon to rendevous with my sisters for a birthday celebration. So, I am hoping that everything goes well. Results can be unpredictable when my family gathers, as per the events of my pre-trippie indicated.

So say prayer, send some cool vibes or whatever that things go well.

end "needles"...in the field.....that would work to stop the
bleeding?..like ephrine../atropine....causing vessel constriction...so
the patients...would not be in arrest..before sx. could be done..
to repair?

..what kills me..we spend all these years..learning how "we" function...
& its like, our professionals forget..to apply it. how much we miss?

RE: GF pictures....I wasn't all that thrilled with the results for a coupla reasons....it was raining.....DS was being a pill as my mom would say....I didn't "dress" the kids and just kinda let them wear whatever...and it shows. Next time I will make more of an effort to dress them in portrait wear. And I will also insist on decent hairdos for the girls. We were just so rushed to get to the GF after AK that it was hard to look our best.

BUT. I haven't pressed the purchase button on photopass yet so pm me your email addresses NAB and Marita and I'll send you the link. Lots are doubles since I've been adding borders, etc.

Well, it's Friday, I have a vacation day, and my entire family is gone till Sunday! DH and DS went to watch an airshow in Georgia, and DD is off to Jacksonville to watch her BF in a regatta and visit with her BFF. So it's me, Ddog, Dcat and Dferret for 3 days

I love your new siggie picture! Change is good. I'm considering updating mine. The current one is a one of a kind, quick idea that struck me last year while in Club Cool. This year we took like 20 shots in hopes of finding juuuuust the right pose. But I still like the 2006 version. Meh!

Twinkie- my laundry wasdone for 5 minutes yesterday, thanks. Now the dirty clothes hamper is filling up again. See, Norah changes her clothes a lot and in the whirlwind blur of my daily duties, I'm never sure if anything's clean or dirty so I opt for dirty just in case. I've done the opposite, but then I've put pee pee pants or butter stained clothes back in the drawers... which aint goog.

I'm just stalling because it's weigh day. Gotta hunker down and do my weigh day job.

Marita what are you doing up so early on a day off?

Lexi-- my pm will make no sense at the end because I thought it was you who had the day off today. I was Marita and Lynette that have it off.

Didn't start the day off well at all. It is 40 degrees this morning and Nicholas wanted to wear shorts and a sleeveless t shirt. I told him to change and a whole chain of events happened after that. From him talking back to me and me doing some serious yelling. I should have just let him freeze his butt off. But I didn't want to look like the parent that sends there kid to school in shorts when they should be wearing mittens. He did say his ears were cold on the way to school, I didn't make him put ear muffs on.... now that would have embarrassed him. His excuse for wanting to wear shorts is , he wanted to wear the same thing he wore last time to the church dance which is tonight. Even asked if he could change for tonight. Lucky clothes I guess.

Well since I spent the last two days outside cleaning , I need to spend some time inside cleaning today.

Besides I am finding the Dis slow this morning.

Nab, I got up early to see off my family and generally enjoy my vacation day. I hate getting up late on a vacation day and waste my leisure time.

And yes, the Dis is VERY slow this morning. Why when my only real job today is reading the DIS???????
