I left work at 2:30 today in the middle of budgets to get my nails done! Tehy were getting to long to type. We were supposed to have targets today, but nothing yet.
So I went to get nails done, and got a really slooooooooooooowwww girl. What normally takes 45 minutes took 1 hour and 20 minutes. I was steaming! Anyway, then I spent till 8:30 on the phone with work folks. Tomorrow and Saturday we will work late. Hopefully not on SUnday, that is the goal anyway.

DTD, that's pretty cool that you're doing an all guys trip to WDW! I did a New Years trip with four girlfriends from high school this past January and it was great fun. But we found out after the fact that we're NOT the greatest photographers. We hardly had any group photos. I had taken the most people pictures, but my camera crapped out before the trip was over. Fortunately, my hubby was able to recover the photos that I had taken off the corrupted SD card. Needless to say, I'm getting a new camera and going to be better prepared for our upcoming meet!!!

Are you doing free dining? Golfing? What do you have on your itinerary?! Too bad we won't
overlap.

FREE FOOD!!!!!!!! I did free dining last year with dgf after hearing about it from a co-worker. I told some friends last winter and they all said they'd never been and wanted to go, and if I could get that price for the trip, they were in. We're goin for 6 nights and 7 days. No golf. Mostly park time. We're doing HDDR our first night, tier 2 on the plan. Other ADR's are PTC, Biergarten, LTT, WCC, and Donald's Breakfastsaurus(of course) oop.
Nab, I don't think I overplan. I've been 10 times(plus 3 to DL), so I know a lot of what I want to do. Just have the meals set and build the day around that. I have an entry strategy, and, unlike W, an exit strategy. (ok, no more politics). But the meat of the day, I just try to stay cool and go with the flow.

I am anxious about meeting with the builder tomorrow. We've just hit so many dead ends with building a house I am afraid it's only going to be another.

Not too much for me today since I got everything cleaned yesterday. Just keeping up with Kaleb and a couple loads of laundry.

Tonight is the closing program for VBS so we'll be off to watch the kids sing.

I gotta tell ya, I can see how nice it would be just to send them off to school after this week. I wish we had the money for one of the nice small christian schools in town. Oh well.

Sorry I was MIA. I was at a "reunion" with all the people I traveled with. We went to a local bar to hang out.
Tammy got to come and everyone really liked her. Yay!

This weekend is going to be super busy!
Today is my sister's birthday, so we're taking her and my mom to Harry Potter. Then tomorrow we have a training session at church from 10 to 5 then a potluck at 5. The training is to help the church leadership team know how to handle the extreme growth we're having.
We're the fastest growing UCC church in the SouthEastern conference. I guess that's pretty cool, right?
So on Sunday, we have a special guest Pastor (the one doing the training). To make room for everyone to attend, we're going to the early 9 AM service. Then, since Tammy's the nursery manager, she wants to substitute for the person on the schedule on Sunday so everyone gets a chance to hear the speaker.
So we should be able to leave church about 1?
I'm tired just thinking about it all!

Reading to fast. We just got back from the mall. Wet bathing suits are in the washer, packing almost done. I am on a roll.

Twinkie-- you sound like you are on a roll too. How long is your company staying? Is that were you were a few weeks ago?

Something has come over Hannah. Yesterday it was her hair and today she got her ears pierced. This is the third time. I had them done when she turned one and then again at 4 before she started school. Each time one ear got infected bad and she wouldn't even let you touch it little lone clean them. This time we are going to clean them even more then last time, they also made new holes this time. She thought the first one was to close to the cartilage and maybe that is why I had all the problems. I told her this is the last time. I couldn't believe how expensive it is these days. I think I paid $9.00 when I was thirteen this cost me $50.00 but they nicer starter ear rings now.

Babynurse-- she will aways be my baby. But I know she wants to grow up. She has been looking at herself in the mirror all afternoon.

She did get her bike helmet strap caught in her ear ring though. She was freaking and so was I. It almost looked like she riped it out at first or lost the back but it was okay. Now I can see she won't be riding her bike for awhile.

Hubby is really going to be surprised when he sees her. He has even scene the short hair yet.

Well we are heading off to my Mom's in a little bit. Back on Sunday.

Thanks, NAB for the birthday greeting. I joined the DIS on my birthday a few years ago, so the DIS and my birthday now have a pleasant association! And I love the e-card greetings in the birthday section of the community board. As you may remember from my trip report, Lowell and I don't "do cards." LOL. I have so many things to do tomorrow, not sure how to fit it all in. We plan to go to an outdoor antique show, then off to a local builder's Parade of Homes, and eventually off to dinner somewhere. Tonight, we're taking the kids down to church family camp. We'll stay just for the evening then go back down for Sunday. I hate camping and refuse to spend my birthday camping!

I've been laying low the past few days- not feeling 100%.

I'm at the point before our trip where I always second guess our dinner plans.
Getting the urge to change something and regretting booking the luau. We're taking a freind of our girls' and she has never been to it. We've been a few times,but it Mickey's something or 'nother luau back then.
