WOW, THERE SURE ARE A LOT OF EARLY BIRDS AROUND HERE!

Here's wishing the Mooovers a great week.

DTD- Welcome back! Sounds like you guys had a lot of fun! We would love to hear more.

Lex- Your week does sound busy.... but a goog kind of busy. It will fly by!

Thanks for the

PJ- I got sick all the time the year my oldest went to kindergarten. He would get mildly sick and I would be the living dead. I got sick more often that year than the entire decade that preceded it. I bet you will be sick a lot this year but then you will have super immunities. Every teacher needs a strong immune system.

Goog Morning. Wassup in the pasture?

twinkie:
You need to petition your state to move to the rest of the Moooover's time zone. I'm sure they will comply, if you 'splain why.

I say the rest of us who aren't going to Disney should all get manicures and pedicures too. Ya know, as a show of solidarity.

1. Why would I want to do that? the c in cst stands for civilized. All y'all should petition to join my time zone. Or at least be allowed to come into work an hour later for chat purposes.

2. Now that show of solidarity is a brilliant idea! Shoulder to shoulder into the fray. Our daughter's daughters will adore us, as they sing in grateful chorus.... I know you know the song and the movie BBN!

Good morning everyone else! No more color of the day so wear what you want. Little twinkies go to gymnastics this morning :yay: They are wearing pink glittery leotards currently. I am wearing black. It is in my ninja contract.

morning all. I'm at work.
I doubt I'll even try to do anything.
not like I usually do anyway.
I've already changed my voicemail and my email.
so I'm here incognito. woo!

pj - morning! I was thinking - you didn't ask, but do you know who tony bennet is?

I like figuring out what you know and what you don't know.

twinks - love the makeshift pirate flag.

morning lex! Tammy was laughing at me last night. We were listening to hakuna matata and she goes "It's pumba!"
and I was like "I know! She's going to be there! But she hasn't told her husband."
and then I went on
"and lex hasn't told her fath... her family.... her dad...."
by this time, tammy was laughing like a hyena. ha. (I missed that in trivia today).
I know he's your husband. Really. I just got tongue tied.

I paarked really far away from the arena last night to give Tammy and Anthony practice for disney world.
anthony was complaining, so I told him this was nothing - he'd have to walk much farther in much hotter weather at disney world.
goog to know it's only 89, Marita.
I was wishing it could be the temp it is here.

Twinks - I'm in the civilized time zone as well.
but only for one and a half more sleeps! :yay: :yay:

Marita - Baby Poppins is never going to have a name. We pretty much have both stopped talking or even thinking about names. For some reason when we found out it was a boy we didn't really like any of the boy names we had been thinking about. Noah is still on the top of my list of names I don't like but have no choice because we have to pick a name. The baby will have a name when he is born. Hopefully we will look at him and just "know".

Ethan was stung my a bee/wasp yesterday. He came running inside saying, "A bee stung me" and holding his eye. The stinger was still in there. It got him in the eye lid very close to the lash line. My sister didn't have any baking soda so my BIL went asking neighbors(who in this area don't bother answering their doors) finally he found some. Then a couple hours later Ethan was complaining about his throat hurting him. So I ran home and gave him a big dose of antihistamine. His poor eye is so swollen today.

I was planning on going into town to a baby consignment store that is closing, but now it appears they aren't open on Mondays. Now I'm all dressed up with no where to go.

I am jealous of all of you lucky people getting to leave in less than a week. I too would have been leaving this weekend. I am very thankful to have next weekend though.

1. I think I've told y'all this before, but I read this in an article. Which profession comes in contact with the most germs on a daily basis? Doctor? Nope Nurse? nope Elementary school teacher? YUP

2. Consider the petition sent. But you know Indiana and their time zones are so screwed up, who knows what will happen.

3. Well done, sister suffragette. ;)

Hoosiers time depend on the TV!! (yep I'm a Hoosier) we lived by Chicago, so the time zone cst - my parents are over by OH - so they are EST...

Celery - lol I've talked to a diser and when I want to talk about DD - I say "DD" :rotfl2:

Elementary Substitute teachers get it bad - all those germs keep changing!! (when I did preschool, all the teachers would get sick for the first week - you adjust to their germs) I wash my hands a lot - the rooms now have that gel - I also wash the desk I sit at, and the computer - chlorox wipes...

Mommy - we had a tradition of a "utero" name - our first preg everyone started fighting over the name, dh said, Scaramoush" seriously, scaramoush, it was hysterical, from then on scaramoush instead of "it" or "the pregnancey" My dad did call after baby was born "what are you naming it?" :rotfl2: My mom was convinced we were so used to scaramoush (its an operatic name) we'd stick with it!! We are weird after all!! :rotfl2: Then when an ultrasound showed our baby girl, dh declared the utero name "Iphagenia" or "Iphy" for short!! :rotfl2: The boys were in 5th and 3rd grade, I did get a call from a teacher! :rotfl2: "no, ds is not lying,"

it helped calm my naming fears - I used to make lists tho, and bring all the different lists to the hospital to see what name kept appearing on all the lists.. didnt work for dd tho!! :rotfl2:

Morning.

Major headache today. Had it last night, felt it all night long, woke up with it sitll.

Kids are back! Woo Hoo!

We spent the whole day at the zoo yesterday with the whole family. Such a gorgeous day.

Then met up with my mom and my sister and her boys at the best pizza rest. in the whole world. It was my dad's favorite. We were celebrating. It was the 10 year anniversary of his death yesterday and we were just remembering. It was nice. My BFF was there with her family. He passed on her birthday. It was just a nice ending to a beautiful day.

Morning all,

It is cold here this morning but warming up.

Poor Ethan is right. No one here has been stung by a bee so we wouldn't even know if we were allergic. What does the baking soda do? Help with swelling?

We were bad in the name department too. Both were not named for days.

Twinkie -- You are wearing a black leotard..... I bet you all look cute.

Just glad I don't live down east and be yet another hour ahead. On vacation it really screwed me up to be an hour later.

Pumba -- good thing you remembered....or you would be buying princess one while you were there.:lmao:

I plan on doing some packing today. Or at least make a list of what I am taking.

Hi Kay :wave2: How is it going?

Mony--

Nab - It helps with the stinging/burning. You can also use chewing tobacco. However that we do not ever have on hand. lol.

I've always heard that it is the second time that you would have a severe reaction. Is that right BabyN?

This was the first bee sting of all our kids. Which is a miracle! I was stung a lot as a child.

PUMBA!!!! I laughed at your word "skivvies"! I haven't heard that one in a loooong time! You should forget them and your DH would be forced to buy Princess skivvies for you! Think of it as a pretty secret ;)

MommyP- Awwww, I hear you on the name woes. My DH only contributes BAD BAD names as a joke and then vetos all my good names. Like he had ANY say in my names! :sad2: It's so much easier to find names you hate than one's you like! For some reason, for me, the name choice had to "yell well". You just can't yell some names :confused3 I'm not a fan of Noah. There's this bratty neighbor by me named Noah.

Kay! Nice to see you!!!!

BabyNurseCow-& Twinkiedoodle You need to get a mani and pedi- that would be the best thing to do, considering :sad1: . Twinkie needs one because I'm sure she can't even see her toes anymore and they're probably getting gnarly.

Mony2- Hope that headache goes away! Take whatever headache medicine with a diet Pepsi Max, trust me. It works. Did you go back to the zoo to see the giraffe tongue? Those pictures are weird!

Nab- are you all packed? I'm soooooo looking forward to seeing you!

Sandy and Celery Goood Mornin! Now, go PACK!

MommyP I'm sorry to hear about Ethan's bee sting. What a horrible place to be stung, yikes! I hope the pain and swelling goes away soon.

I haven't stayed caught up with the reading, and so didn't know that Mana is now a boy instead of a girl. I'm sure you'll find a name you like. I have forgotten the names of all your boys, but I assume you have used or ruled out the rather common Biblical names like Stephen, James, Samuel, Paul, Jeremiah, Luke, etc. If all else fails there's always some of the umm rather exotic names like Abinadab or Melchizedeck (sp) hehehe. ;)

I am excited for all you guys going to the DIS meet. The weather has turned cold here the last couple days and the furnace has actually been running over night, so 80s sounds good to me at the moment! MommyP and I will remain behind and patiently hold down the DISboard Fort. :hourglass

Well I got some of my things sitting on the bed does that count. The weather is suppose to heat up again so I think I will be need what I have out.

I will be washing and packing all Friday night I am sure. Most important thing to remember is going to the bank and getting my tickets out of the safety deposit box and getting health insurance.

I found out Nicholas's name when Hubby gave me a Mother's Day card two days later. It said from "hubby" and Nicholas and I said who is Nicholas.:lmao: We never even discussed that name :confused3 I thought he would be a Joshua. But he is the only Nicholas in his class with two Joshua's. I picked Hannah's name. I really wanted Anna or Annie. Hubby didn't like it and Toy Story was just out then and Nicholas could say Hannah really well because she was the sister in the movie.

Hannah has a Bobbie, and Ryan both are girls and a Dakota that is a boy in her class this year it is very confusing.

what I got for mommyp's boys will work PERFECT!

don't buy any pirate accessories, mommyp!

I made eyepatches and foam swords and telescopes for them.
and dallen and riley too.
and anthony.
and nicholas

WOO HOO! Tammy's coming to get me. yahoo!

she can't work today either so we're kidnapping the car early and jeanie too.
yayayayayay
heh.

the only problem is I'm out of prozac and flonase. and I called in for it to be delivered here at work. and I don't know what time it's coming!
ack!
and the stupid pharamacy won't let me swing by and pick it up.
so tammy might have to pick it up tomorrow if it doesn't get here in a few minutes.

okey guys........legs are finished and skivvies are packed....I went for a walk and got some donut holes for the kids snack when they get here from school.....I didnt want to cook anyways.....
What else did I forget.....

UM .....my hubby was US NAVY so the skivvies was the right word......I would of said panties for the boys and the girls so he corrected me....guys are skivvies...hahaha.
I just thought of this.....maybe I should put in one pair of long jeans in case it gets chilly.....hmmmmmm forgot about that....but temps in florida look like the high 80s and low 90s for the time I am there......hmmmmmm decisions decisions...always to many decisions....

PUMBA[/B

I did try tylenol again, what a joke! My best remedy is excedrine and a nap.

But with me nursing and watching kids, and the baby finally falling asleep, I'll drink a coke and hope for the best.

I didn't want to drink the coke before the big nap time around here. All I need is a nonconforming baby.

It's another gorgeous day her in Michigan. Just beautiful.

They only sell 100 tickets per day to feed the giraffes. 50 for the 11am feeding and 50 for the 1pm. They were sold out before we got there.

Since we got a family pass to the zoo, we'll go lots of times. After 2 visits, the pass is paid for.

My helper moved down to Perrysburg OH. We are going to visit her and then go to the Toledo Zoo. I hear it's really nice. Ours is too but not like Toledo's.

Ha Ha! My boys get all freaked when I call their underpants "panties". Come to think of it, my dad used to say skivvies to.

You are sooooo forgetting something! (just messing with you!). Make a list and check it off. Medication would be really not good to forget. Most anything else can be bought at hugely inflated Disney prices. Which I found out 2 years ago when I forgot diapers and had to buy Huggies from Disney. :sad2:

Oh no I forgot you were nursing. Chocolate? Ice pack on your forehead? Ack! Plus you're tending kids. :guilty:

Oh that's right! You have top of the line Canadian medical. Here, our health care system is run entirely at the whim of the big pharmacutical companies! DONT get sick here!

I have stacks on my bed too.

You know you shouldn't mix alcohol and prozac don't you? :upsidedow

HOW EXCITING!!!!! :cheer2:

We were bad in the name department too. Both were not named for days.

Twinkie -- You are wearing a black leotard..... I bet you all look cute.

HA! about the leotard. You are too funny NAB. About the names- that is my fear... having a 3 week old baby with no name. We have no names picked out, other than Grasshopper. Not even a short list. And we do not agree on names. And we have used up the best ones.

BabyNurseCow-& Twinkiedoodle You need to get a mani and pedi- that would be the best thing to do, considering :sad1: . Twinkie needs one because I'm sure she can't even see her toes anymore and they're probably getting gnarly.
Thank you UtahMama:rolleyes: I CAN see my toes for the record. Reach them... not so much. With the twins I really couldn't see them. Or the numbers on the scale if I was standing on it:sad2:

Gnarly. Haven't seen that word for awhile. Maybe I should hunker down and add it to my daily vocabulary. Naw. Wouldn't want to go hog wild.

my hubby was US NAVY so the skivvies was the right word......

Thank you for this useful post Pumba. I had been going with "undies" for little twinkie boys but they do not approve.

Ugh. I ate too much lunch. Now I really need to go start on my entry for the ironing board luge. However the couch is calling my name......

I say the rest of us who aren't going to Disney should all get manicures and pedicures too. Ya know, as a show of solidarity.
I will stand with you in this act of solidarity. The sacrifices we are willing to make for our friends...

Since PJ always sounds so pleasant in the morning, I thought I'd try it out too.

You can only strive to be like me.

PJ- I got sick all the time the year my oldest went to kindergarten. He would get mildly sick and I would be the living dead. I got sick more often that year than the entire decade that preceded it. Well I'm sure I'll be building up my immune system this year! I just get sick so easily. I've always said that I'm sick way more than anyone else. If anyon around me is mildly sick I get what they have only 10 times worse. Wassup with that?

Almost done with Monday! :dance3:

I'm home. with jeanie but not tammy. she had more work to do.

so I need a nap bad.
so what do y'all do with a 2 year old who had a nap and you want one?
