MOOvin' Along - Goog Times, Goog Friends . . . Part 2

Welcome Monymony! What a cute family and a little baby. I could only dream of having a 6lber.

My appointment went good. Only 13 pounds gained so far! Moo hoo! Everything was normal and my chart had no info on the sex of the baby. So, really no one knows but Chad and I. Plus the u/s tech. And you guys. lol.

We went to get pizza for lunch, then to the mall, then we went grocery shopping for me. I am BEAT! Then I had to come home and get dinner going. Thankfully Chad had already peeled and cooked the potatoes. We're having mashed potatoes and baked chicken. Plus a bunch of leftover veggies. I am HUNGRY!!!!!!!!!!!

Lucky duck!!!! Great appointment! I bet you are exhausted though. 13 lbs is great I had gained almost 22 so my guestimate was pretty close.

I finally went to the the grocery store- three different places, lots of $ spent yet I didn't buy any meat or diapers. Only one gallon of milk because someone LIED to me about the sale on milk at the last store (the pricey one that I normally don't frequent). So I will have to go back out tomorrow because one gallon milk doesn't last 2 days in this house and I don't like to shop on Saturdays.

I realize that I have failed to keep you all up to date on the color of the day. Today was BROWN and we did not participate since we don't own any brown clothes. Yesterday was WHITE and the girls were adorable in their white t-shirts, skirts and white keds. The keds are their new (not hookeresque) shoes- they came with pink polka dot laces and charms. Tomorrow the color of the day is BLACK and it is also Spirit Day. The school colors are red and black so that will work out nicely.

I am cooking dinner tonight. I told the kids we were having "Magic Pie".... kind of like leftover parfait on Malcolm in the Middle. JUST KIDDING!

It is "Impossibly Easy Taco Pie" and I shall serve it with a caesar salad.

Our school colours are teal, brown and black. Wonder who picked those colours, sounds pretty drab.

Mommy P -- glad your doctors appointment went well. Lucky you didn't have to fast.

Both suppers sound yummy. Hubby wasn't home and doesn't need leftovers so we just had Kraft dinner, that was there choice. They don't get one to often... They will have leftovers in their lunch tomorrow because they made me make one white cheddar and one orange. Choice of raw veggies and there is supper.

Thanks to everyone who wished me a happy birthday! I always invisioned myself in a day spa getting "the Works" and sipping tea in a comfy robe. A great dinner with cake. Unfortunately, I didn't plan ahead for this and budget accordingly. But with an empty gas tank in the Suburban and my choice of birthday meals being:

a.Raman Noodles
b.Hot dogs
c.cold cereal
d.PB and J...wait, we have no bread, scratch that!
e.Mac and cheese
f.mixed vegetables with freezer burn
g,Mac n cheese with hot dogs
h.Raman Noodles with questionable mixed vegetables
i. virtual cake with virtual candles with a real life wish



ACK!!!!!!! I'm not that bummed, but wished I still had the income from Pooh Girl!

I was going to make fish, talipia, salad and rice - but I have to go pick up dh, and

I got lost in a Nora Roberts book - finally finished it!! Takes time to 'get over it' and move on to the 2nd book (all in one tho donovan legacy or somethin like that...)
so no one's eatin yet!! Bad mom - mean mom... add this to my sins - you know the one about taking her to Disney!!

DD and DH are driving me nuts!! That's to be expected tho right?!!

hello...went to orono again and did another computer exchange...we took her new one and gave her the house one here......we told her to use that and he would find a vista compatable printer here and install it himself........THEN she will have this new computer back
this vista stuff is almost as bad as it was a few years back with XP......remember......geesh..
so we did a four hour trip two up and two back.....ate on the road compliments of Mc Donalds.......and then came home and did our groceries.....

yah we are good grandparents......we love these four kids so much....hard to explain ......two are teens and two are babies.....Owen is three going on 13....he says......I was three this past June.......that cracks me up.....
I looked at the disney countdown thingie and we have five days to go......not that WE are not counting....

If anyway is looking for something to watch on TV, my son got me watching BBC America, on cable. Chef Ramsey, of Hell's Kitchen fame, is doing restaurant makeovers. It's called Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares.

Pumba -you and your hubby are great grandparents. Hannah's teacher said to me only 9 days now and I didn't know what she was talking about. I guess Hannah has been counting down with her teacher.....

Hannah has to do a journal while she is gone for school work.

Marita -- I have seen that show before. I just finished watching Big Brother. I do not like the final two. All the new shows start the week we are down there. I will have to get my DVR set for that.
