Celery -- that is what I tell hubby too, who is only one month older. He is the old one not me...

Sandy-- How was school today? Do you have homework....That is the first thing I say to my kids when I pick them up.

No homework today that means dinner will be earlier. I want to go to Pumba's house for dinner. She is even going to have apple pie.

Apple pie? I'm there. We're having tacos and then it's off to church. I stayed busy all day so I wouldn't feel tired and lazy. So I feel tired, but good. You know? My back is killing me though from being on my feet all day without my CROCS.

I got my junk drawers cleaned out and the top of the fridge. I washed down all my counters and cabinet doors and my washer and dryer. Plus I got all my fall stuff down and places around the house. Except I can't do the fall leaves in the plants on the plant shelves until tomorrow when Chad can get them down for me.

I'm all ready for church in a really cute shirt that I probably won't be wearing again.

Dinner is ready, but I have to go and mop the floor. Jeremiah spilled tea and since Chad is engrossed in the stupid TV(I hate having it on in the afternoon) he isn't even thinking about cleaning it up himself, even though he normally would.

Hi friends!

I want to say thanks for all the prayers and well-wishes for my son's interview today with the Base Commander.

He called me this afternoon. His appointment was for 11 am, but apparently the man had things to do, so they made him wait till 1 pm. Must have been like sitting on pins and needles for 2 hours.

But he thinks it went pretty well. The interview lasted for 1 hour, which hubby thinks is a good sign, and the commander said the thought he could put a good review together for my son.

So now paperwork gets sent Review Board, which is in October, but he will not find out anything until the end of November . Long wait.......


In other news, we had HAIL in Orlando today! How can you get hail in 90 degree weather?

The weather is really strange. Suppose to get cooler by the weekend. I think Sat. is suppose to be 59 degrees. I think I my be wearing my jeans down after all.

supper was delicious.....okey I am patting myself on my back but geesh it was.....made me sweat a little and my nose leaked.....but the meatballs and hot sausage......YUMMY......I put red pepper flakes too in it......Now after that...I even ate the proper amount of pasta......I had a piece of my pie.....now this is where I can say.....YUMMY.....oh yah I already said that......geesh it was a good supper..hubby went to the apple orchard the other day and got a bushel of apples and a gallon of apple cider......I didnt touch the cider......that would really do a number on me....I could have a sip ...

Oh my goodness, that is awful that they made him wait that long. That had to be so stressful. Wow. Continued pixie dust that it works out well.

Isn't it wIerd how sometimes you can not see someone for a long time and it's fine but then all of a sudden you just miss them like crazy?? I miss my sister so bad all of a sudden. But to cheer me up.....

Just got home a little over an hour ago and we are all settled in. Things went pretty smoothly today for my hubby. We didn't have to be at the hospital super early The doc said I am to make sure my hubby is a slug for the next four days, but he can go back to work on Monday. He is relaxing and watching TV and eating to make up for his fasting all day.

m&m moo?..don't we send our kids to college..to learn?

Lil G, we sure do send our kids to college to learn!!! Even though it is hard to send them on their way and we miss them when they go to school far from home.

We'd bring you a Mickey bar if we could keep it from melting! I know this is sacrilegious, but I'm not all that fond of Mickey bars. My hubby loves them though. I'd rather have a frozen chocolate and peanut covered
