Moo,

Our division became the latest casualty of the whole sub-prime lending implosion. All but two review appraisers got the axe. They are trying to hold the remaining fragment of the division together so they can "live to fight another day." If that goes badly, the whole division gets shut down. In the meantime I am still doing some work on a fee basis, but not as an employee.

The only thing certain in life is uncertainty.

What did you want from me again?

PJ- I am the kid that fainted during 9th grade biology (and 7th grade, and5th grade and 4 th grade and 3 grade during career day when the nurse came to visit). I was thus excused from the "Miracle of Life" unit. I have never seen a baby being born. I close my eyes and think of England. (that is a joke btw...no one ever gets it). Anyway- my point is if I can have a baby anyone can. Just file that away for future reference.

I threw up all over the science room during frog dissection in 9th grade. It was the first week of school and I was already terrified to be in high school for the first time. I asked the teacher to go to the bathroom and he said no. I was too shy to tell him I was going to be sick. So then I got sick all over his room! I was mortified. He sure as heck let me go to the bathroom whenever I wanted after that!

p.s. It has already been decided that I am not having children. I will just be educating them, not raising any.

yes, she is. BUT she got 4 names and her sisters only have 3. p.s. One of her names may or may not be very similar, ok the same as, mine. This does indeed make her "special"

by the way - what in the world is whooping cough anyway? It's always confused me.
I read this book called ballet shoes about three sisters who got it and had to go to the country to recover -
the way they described it made it sound like explosive diarhea.
I don't get it.
anyway, it's a really good book. about other things besides whooping cough.

umm....what does whooping cough have to do with ballet shoes? My sister got whooping cough really bad when we were both little. All I remember about it is her laying on the couch coughing until she threw up. That is now the second time I have mentioned throwing up in this post.

I just got back from running errands and in the parking lot of Kroger there was a minivan (vee-hick-uhl) with Indiana license plates and Colts bumper stickers all over it. I of course thought of Elisabeth but then it occured to me....maybe all that stalking talk isn't a joke. Maybe she really is following me. What do you think?

She does have a huge truck, and guess what? She makes all of her 100 kids ride in the bed of it!!

Is Ballet Shoes a novel or a children's book? I am confused on this item.

I missed chat! Dangit! Even 8:30 is late-ish for me on a school night. DS had his first "homework" last night and he dawdled so it took nearly an hour for "us" to finish it.

Celery...I think your trip report is funny too. I gots to get caught up but can't seem to find the time in the morning and have to wait til the weekends to catch up. I bet nebo thinks I've jumped ship.

I would like to read The Ballet Shoes. I love children's literature. I particularly enjoyed the Richard Peck novels "A Long Way from Chicago" and "A Year Down Yonder". You should read them...in that order. I'm working on HP and the Order of the Phoenix right now. It's the first HP I've read although DS and I are currently reading the Sorcer's Stone aloud also.

Kay....Sorry about your job. I guess you are a real estate appraiser? I guess the fee based appraisals would give you plenty of work and a lot more flexibility but no benefits, right? Bummer.

Goog Morning!

Good news! Kaleb woke me up at 4:30 AM to tell me he had to pee! Yay! He is dry all the time during the day(with maybe one accident a week, although not this week yet.) and almost always dry at night now. Looks like he isn't going to be a bed wetter like, Ethan.

I have nothing else exciting to report.

Chad has tomorrow and Monday off, which is nice. We have to go to Ocala on Saturday for a funeral. We got a room at the Wyndham in Orlando(it's 1 1/2 hours drive from the funeral) It's almost 4 hours to to to Ocala and only 2 1/2 to Orlando via back roads through the middle of the state. The cheapest room in Ocala was $59 and that was for a travelodge that looked like a truck stop. Yuck! We got the Wyndham for $43.

Wish we had our AP's.

AND the only reason she knows all of the above, is b/c she has carved out a place right beneath my kitchen window, and my bedroom window, and my living room window, and the game room window, and in the barn, and under the trampoline, and on the playset, and in the garage, and in the horse trailer, the big pick up, the little pick up, the mini van, the mailbox, the garden, the front porch, the back porch, and the bushes. Or was that last one Marita? no, wrong stalkee. We don't have a dumpster, but if we did, I'm sure Marita would be here too.
