morning everyone.

Today is a sunny day and it is great out (34 degrees)...
Went to the diabetic clinic on Monday at 9 and then the eye doctors at ten thirty......and then Megara a recheck on her ruptured ear drum....So Monday was a busy day...My A1C is up and that scares me......trying to keep the bs test down and maybe lose a few pounds. My eye pressure was up and I have to go back in a month.....geesh....I think I am falling apart at the seams....

Our son got a 7 point buck on Opening day last Saturday and it was a beautiful deer. I will probably go hunting on Saturday (fair weather pending) and hopefully I can finish off my tag too......I hate to get up at four thirty in the morning.......I like 7 if I could do that........hahaha.

hope those who are feeling under the weather feel better fast and those who LOVE snow like I do blow it away

I am feeling much better today. It has turned into a cold with a cough. I will be glad when I can just lay down with out coughing up a lung but I will take it over the flu any day.

Yep. Frustrated with my new shoes though. I wanted to do my half marathon in them, but they are causing so much pain in my left foot. Just don't know that I will be able to do 13.1 in them. Also, don't have time to break in a new pair before my race next Saturday. Guess I'll be wearing the old ones. Just driving me nuts!! Went and walked with DD today at school, and she was less than thrilled that we were there. I even brought her daddy (best buddy as she refers to him), but alas it wasn't enough. She REALLY wanted me to bring the dogs. Well, they would have been totally obnoxious, and then I would have had to take them back home before work, so NO DEAL. At least I had my hubby there to walk with.

I've been raising a lot of money for St. Jude's recently. DS school had a major fundraiser for them last week, so most of our money went there. One of my previous students is currently there for treatment for leukemia. He is in 1st grade now, but I taught him in my 4 year old Sunday School class. He seems to be responding to the treatments very well. I felt like it is the least I can do to give some money and my time.

but her response was, if I have to leave earlier, I bette come in earlier, 8 hours in the office, no matter how many hours I work. I dont get it! Especially from her. But what can you do? Except retire? I moved one of my alarm forward an extra half hour today anyway.

Nab, hope you will be back to normal soon. One of my co-workers daughers had to be picked up from school today with vomiting and fever, but she was diagnosed with strep throath so far. I said, nobody better infect me before my surgery

oh good gosh......it snowed this morning.......Megara looked up at the sky as if to say WHAT IS THIS COLD STUFF....

yesterday after school, my neighbors son came over and CSI LV was on.....they were looking for semen in the back of a prison bus for women. So J asked what is semen (he is 9) and I ignored him for a bit and a little later they said it again on CSI and AGAIN J asked me what is semen......meanwhile hubby is on my computer and I can hear him chuckling.....so I answered dear J as serious as I could and said its the main sponsor for Spaceship Earth in Epcot.SEIMENS..and he remembered that name .......ROFL...SO then I called his mother and told her what happened..Good thing the family is Disney nuts like us..

We are still laughing about it....

We have Thursday and Friday off. Why, I do not know. They were classified as nonattendance days. What on earth does that mean? Someone said last year since we had so many make up days they threw a few "nonattendance days" in here and there in case we need them throughout the year. Interesting.

I guess now no one will post here for the next 15 hours.

Peej - Seems like they would throw the "nonattendance days" in the Spring which is AFTER snow season instead of the Fall which is BEFORE snow season. Regardless, enjoy your days off.

I had a shortish day at 10.5 hours today, I think?

As I was writing the first line, another email came in from California.

Anyway, what I was going to say before I was so rudely interrupted by said email is that I am finally off do do dishes. Not that we have many, a few plates, but apparently hubby is not doing them, grrr, and it's wayyy not enough for the dishwasher. Exciting stuff, huh? Work and dishes.

Pumba, that's a funny story. I have to share that with my BFF who happens to work for Siemens.

I bought a tv!

after tax and everything, it was 650.
and I get interest free financing for 18 months.


I was already in the market for both and decided to just go and do it tonight.
I'm officially a pampered chef independent consultant!
and I have pampered chef software to install - and I decided I've been using the work computer for over three years- it was time I manned up.

I just got my pampered chef stuff too!

this weekend is going to be fun.

And congrats on the Pampered Chef stuff. I looked at the website the other day, but they don't show any products, so if you have something I can look at, I might consider buying something. But as you know, I am not much of a cook, so the prospects of selling to me are very limited. (witness doing 4 days of dishes by hand and not even filling up the dish rack in the sink...)

she already..has a special daughter that not only adores her,
..but already....a proven miracle~worker,

now if i had cancer..i would be take up drinking alot of oj.

failure in cellular..reproduct., therefore, ..vit c....

psst, my fil..was dx. with pancreatic ca, 2000 [ right after our family
reunion cruise...& he still around...pssst, i won't mentioned no names,
but rumor is, to bug his..favorite son-in-law...

getting thru it....,his 13 y/o ..grandson...taking his first deer, with a

situation! and we can't be flexible....with our vacation time off.

what i've learn..by reading on the dvc boards?....good thing...not before
buying...as there seem to be..alot..mean, meanies..over there

the next time..she step..on my toes...she'll be wearing stripes...not
the pin type.

well bbn...i hope this encourage her fight...but the past 6 mos, i had
my hands full with alot stressors....& it was my faith...& nursing
interventions that rally me thru..it all. faith thru my experiences,
leaves no doubt...prayers..has healing power. i'm also suire, all
your friends..here....will be pulling for your mom everyday, for a
complete recovery...& of course, there's her special,
daughter.
