mony - I'll take her! Ship her down!

sandy - I'm in town most of the month of april. I might travel to Georgia one week.
no trip report. I haven't even posted the pictures yet! I'll get to it.

I left my laptop at work! I hope. If I didn't, it was stolen out of my car at the gas station yesterday.
which I don't think happened.
so I think it must still be at my desk.
the only problem is I have a paper due - and it's a group paper! and I'm the one responsible for putting it all together! eeeeek!
they're hating me right now, I imagine.
They all turned their stuff into me on the 30th.
and I haven't done one lick of work.

I've just got so much going on right now!
I'm headed to the southern womens show right now with bridget and tara. they're both blonde and have high pitched voices, so I'll probably need a drink after the first hour.

after that I have date number 3 with a guy named jason.
he's having me over to his house tonight to eat dinner with his 2 year old daughter and then we're going to watch movies.
I'm nervous!

mommyp - thanks for asking about the milk. I thought I knew what twinks meant, but I wasn't sure how to word it. ha.

Hope everone has a great weekend!

Argh! I hear my dog puking. Let's hope it's in the kitchen and not the living room! :sad2:

Hey everybody.

Wanna hear something wIerd? Two of my patients who gave birth on the same day and had never met each other both named their babies "Diesel". Isn't that a coinkydink?

LilG you put Nurse Ratched to shame. She wasn't known for her compassion, that's for sure.

Peej went to the Ellen show, but I have not heard if there were shenanigans during the taping. No news must be good news.

Twink: Ohhh I thought you meant a gallon of skim milk...or not. hee hee.

Snarkgirl: where'd ya go?

Moo: Glad to hear you're doing well.

All y'all:Thanks for loving me despite my crazy ways. *smooch*

After a few minute nap, the baby woke with a fever. That's it! I took her to urgent care and it took the Doc 2 seconds to see the major ear infection Maddy has in her left ear. The right is infected too, just not as bad.

She's also managed to take a poop, take said poop out of her diaper cause I let her go onsie less and smear it along my kitchen wall and floor.

I was trying to clean the upstairs bathroom while leaving the boys in charge for five minutes.

Thankss cel, but since her mad ways of not sleeping are caused by an ear infection, I'll keep the little rug rat.

But I'm thinking I'd rather ship two adolescent boys someplace.

Far far away, they are constantly arguing with eachother and it's driving me insane. Even Maddy covers her ears.

My daughter will be home on Friday night for Easter weekend. Moo Hooooooo!!!!! :yay:

Lil G
- I'll be cheering for the Spartans today, but will also be cheering for the Tar Heels. Should be interesting if both of them win! I heard a few people from my office say that they were going to go hang out in downtown Detroit today to soak up the Final Four vibes.

Mony - ACK!!! Poor Maddy. Hope she feels better soon. I saw the ad for that topsyturvy planter today. Man, those ripe tomatoes sure looked yummy. I'll only eat them raw if they're really ripe.

bbn - "Interesting" baby name  and what a coinkydink!

Cel - Sounds like you have a fun day planned. Goog luck with the dinner!

I think I'm just going to be hanging out at home today.

Marita
- No cute girls in the AF? I guess there are some other places for your son to look!

Once again.............GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooo

well as you kno, one of my favorite hobbies...is hating the state

..up north, but only in good sports., everything turning

green, :thumbsup2,

sports..the biggest picture..is what we get out of them, & not
the final scores or points.

..it was soo funny, how thrill the msu football team...was , that

..someone recognized them...@ wdw. he,he, he..even a rival.

:lmao:

ben talkin about "negative" behaviors....so mujch, don't forget...
there just as many positive ones, and we can support one
another by sharing....and eventually ...that lil'secret, ends up
helping ourself....enriching our day by day routines.

....as long as there's precious life on earth...there's hope & potential.

...i'm sorry...but my own personal evolution...lead me to beleive,
all life is valuable.....and there's only 2 people in the world, males
& females....by necessaties....too! [ without them, we have no
future.] everything else, skin color, culture, structure....are exactly
what one "see"....is nothing more than window dressings.

and if we can get more to accept this reality..then we can focus on
more important realities...behavioral..or the dangerous ones..and
improve..our prevention rates.

by nature, it is harmful to our well being to hate. boy, have you ever
known ..those looking / living for misery?

something elese..this isn't great knowledge..it's just old plain common
sense..that was told to me growing up, then getting tossed in
mental health...getting, to see these lessons..being put to the test.

new york city...has a wdw quality. just amazing. i took some of the
pictures..of disney's shows..on boardway. and anywhere there's
people, can be fun. " using one's social skills..around strangers can
be...interesting. & educational. " i like blending in, & becoming a
background fixture. people watching, ....

wdw , disney...alot of people, sure not be surprising...people problems?

..our pc cruise, was in~deeds, very magical ..even with the few
negative encounters. however, i can't say i was surprised. ahowever,
i think..i gave them..a few surprises. soory, if you act crazy enough,
i will most certainly react..with my mental health interventions,
* sometimes..for fun? ;)

Today was my youngest son's 9th birthday.
:yay:
We went to a Japanese steakhouse. Yummm! Wasn't nearly as expensive as I thought it might be for the 5 of us, so that was nice too!
:thumbsup2

Happy Birthing Day, Steph!!!

Yay for your son having such a nice birthday! :cake: You get dinner AND a show at Japanese steak houses!!!

Nabbie - Where have you been? Doing spring break stuff with the kids??!

Mony - You got your wish!!! The Spartans won!

That game against UNC is going to be a doozy on Monday :)

Right, Lil G??!

My daughter was out with friends watching both games tonight. I couldn't reach her when I called her earlier, but she called us back after the MSU/UConn game. We just re-added her to our cell plan since she had such bad reception after she moved to a more rural area recently. It'll be so nice being able to reach her by phone again!

Happy Birthing Day, Steph!

I am totally not into sports, so all that stuff is way over my head. I had a pretty boring day today. I worked some on something I wanted to work on (regression analysis to see why Private Dining counts are down so much) Looking at impact of Convention rooms vs DVC rooms vs Leisure rooms. Interesting, to me at least. My conclusion so far, though not the final one: Impact of DVC as a % of total rooms (50% less spending on room service with kitchens), coupled with general lower spending due to economy. I'm sure you'll were just dying to know that. ;)

I made dinner tonight, Chicken Fricassee and have enough left over for another dinner and some for lunch Monday and some for DD to take home. I called to tell her and she said "Sweet". No telling when she is coming to get it though.

Moo, yay for getting Mari back on your phone plan and her coming home this weekend. :thumbsup2

I was! I think your job is really interesting. I pretend that I would love to have your job, but I'm not so sure.
I do some analyses with my job, but not sure if I could just work with the numbers every day.
I really like being able to interact with a lot of different people and help them.
I had a lot o fun on friday - for years, the department that I wanted to take over was not allowed to ask everyone questions - now that Ben's taken over, they can ask anyone anything.
I spent most of the day friday training 4 of them. :hyper:
I love teaching!
:)

The dinner last night went really well. Addie (the almost 3 year old daughter of the guy) was not feeling well, but she is the least whiny 2-3 year old I've ever met!
No whining at all - she'd just rather be sitting in daddy's lap because she didn't feel good.

Cel, I dont work with people all that much, so you probably wouldn't like my job.

Glad the date went well :thumbsup2

Im bored!!!!!

Twinkie - LOL. How did I not get that on my own? I guess because it's been months since I've had "bagged" ;) milk. I thought maybe it was some crazy prairie milk. :)

Still haven't brought my proposal to Chad. Just waiting for the right time. I think he will go for it though since there is money there for it. I mentioned that free dining was being offered again and with the regular dining plan and not the quick service one like everyone thought and he was like,"Lets go!" I was like, "We're having a baby 4 weeks before the end of it, maybe next year." lol It will be super cool if we could go next year for free dining and the baby's birthday all at once! I've only had one other child born not during peak season, Kaleb. But the beginning of January isn't an easy time to get away.

Anyone want a kitten? I have a very pregnant mama cat here...again. Her third litter since we've lived here! Poor thing.

MommyP, I think you should get that cat fixed. You may be able to get it done cheaply through the Humane society. Just sayin'

Hey, if you are a reader, and you are bored...Goodreads is a fun place to drop by..

You mark your favorite books and ones you would like to read. I think I got a bunch of good ideas from people that liked the same books I do.

How is Fla. treating you?

Nice to see you, Mrs. the King! Are you on spring break? w00t on your upcoming trip!

Lazy day here in my neck of the woods. The good thing is that I got lots of sleep this weekend! :thumbsup2

How is Fla. treating you?

W00t on your soonish trip!

Fl is treating me OK, can't complain. DH and I survived the great layoff of 2009 :worship:

Moo, yay for getting rest this weekend!

I had 2 handfuls of mixed nuts and 3 mini butterfingers and a mini milkiway bar late today, now I'm not hungry for dinner. :confused3

Yes! We cracked right into spring break. I took a nap today like a cat, catching up on sleep is divine.

So, funny PC and PS story (my kids)

On the last day of school, we were riding in the van with the radio on. "Hot Blooded" comes on (what station was I listening to anyway :sad2:) and my girl says out loud "I have heard of warm blooded, why does he keep singing hot blooded?"

so my boy says "Well, warm blooded means that you have an internal heating mechanism, and his must be malfunctioning." :rotfl: I was panicking trying to decide how to explain passionate feelings to a seven year old! I am so glad I kept my trap shut.
