That's fantastic news, Mony! Glad Tim's news was good! What a relief for you all!

In other news, it is raining buckets here. Which stinks because I have to grocery shop on the way home from work. Carrying soggy groceries into the house is not the way I want to end this work day, but I haven't shopped in over a week, and my fridge is a desolate landscape! Blah.

Shh....listen. Do y'all hear that? It's my jammies calling me...........

Marita- How did your son's dinner turn out?

Don't know yet, Twinkie. Last I heard it was very liquidy. I'll call him later, it's only 3 pm there.

Mony, YAY on the great news for Tim! :worship:

I'm afraid it may me my turn to ask for some PD. My brother called today to tell me that my mom is in a nursing home now. She developed Pneumonia and I guess was in the hospital for a while, and now in a nursing home. He doesn't know if she will ever get back to her place, as she can't get in or out of bed by herself. No wonder I got no answer when I called Sunday, but I thought maybe she was in bed already.

Anyway, my brother said he sent me several emails, I didn't get them. So he finally called today.

Marita - Hugs and :wizard: for you and your mama! Goog thing you are going over there soonish. :goodvibes

Oh and my windshield will be ONE YEAR OLD tomorrow! ;):rolleyes1 :rotfl2: <- So glad I can laugh about it now. Not so funny then. :sad2:

Goose girl signing off! :upsidedow

Marita -- Pixie dust for you mom  Good thing you going in less then a month. Would you be able to go sooner if you had too?

Mony-- That is good news about Tim.

Twinkie-- you could always have another since the sling works so well.

I have been so busy emptying out our basement, doing school things and arguing with hubby about what I want downstairs. His brother is doing it for us ( that is his line of work) anyway he came and made suggestions that I didn't like but hubby did. Hubby wants more storage I want more living space and the crap to go!! Not store it. Some of the stuff we haven't touched since we moved into this house 12 years ago. :sad2:

It has been raining/freezing at times today. No snow on the ground like some places around here. I hope I don't wake up to it.

My niece had a baby girl on the 3rd of April too. She called her Isabella, Bella for short. She was so tiny at 6 lbs 8 . Can't wait to see her next week at Easter.

hello partners......

Today it is RAINING again.....but I guess we could of been worse off and said it was doing that dreaded four letter word.......yuck...I had to take Megara out (this is usually Hubbies night time duty) but he thought I knew how to manipulate the golf type umbrella over the dog and myself get wet instead......cause Meg wont pee if she is wet.......HAHAHA

Ava was a good baby today......she took a good two hour nap this afternoon and it was peaceful..

Owen found hidden mickeys on his crocs he said......I laughed my head off.....he and Megan will have a good time in Disney........I can hardly wait..

Today we had clean the fridge leftovers for supper......so hubby had the hot sausages and green peppers and onions in a sub roll....he cooked all those sausages outside on Saturday in the (YUP YOU GOT IT) RAIN.....those do better on the grill...

Hubby ordered his new camera that just came out this past week.......It should be here by the end of the week.....I hope.....he needs to practice the new ins and outs on this one...

The rivers are swollen and we are in another flood warning stage........I dont live near the river but the road that hubby uses to go to work and by the area of our son and dil and kiddos.........the rivers usually goes over ......and washes away the roads like it did last fall.

Marita.......parents have been remarkable using all their strengths to live as long as they have and as healthy as they have.....My mama was very healthy except for her cellulitis........we were blessed........MIL was not healthy but she took good care of all her problems.........I miss them both....

have a good night everyone

Thanks, Allie and Pumba and Nab :grouphug:

I'm just no sure how this will play out with mom in a nursing home several miles away. I suppose he will loan me a car (he as a car dealership), but I hate driving over there anymore with the narrow streets and parallel parking.

We'll see how it plays out. I'm glad I am at least going soon. But I hate thinking about the day I have to leave....

Nab, I was wondering where you were, missed you around here. That basement sounds stressful :scared: Congrats on the new baby in the family. :cloud9:

I won the office pool betting on the date of birth of one of our teams' offspring. Due date April 10, Office visit April 6 (today). If not delivered by due date, they would induce.
So anyway, I WON!!!!!!!!!! Baby was born Saturday. The prize was BRAGGING rights :rolleyes1'

DD is on her way over to partake of leftovers... I havent seen her in a couple of weeks.

Pumba, goog luck with the flooding and the new camera.

Third times a charm.

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooo

HELLLOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Who missed me? Not everyone at once now! I am so happy to be home! Disneyland was absolutely perfect. I loved it! Seeing Ellen was pretty much the coolest thing ever. She is so freakin hilarious! The end of the trip when we stayed with our gay friend in Hollywood left a little to be desired, however. Allow me to just say if I never see naked go go dancers and gay bars again, I will die a happy person. I'll spare y'all the details. Really though it was an absolutely fabulous trip and I am so happy we went. It was really just a wonderful experience. That said I'm happy to be back to my own little life. Missed you all!
:grouphug:
I'll post pictures and whatnot another time. I'm going to attempt to skim back at this point, but I make no promises.

Mony! I'm so happy to hear the good news about Tim!!!

We had 3-4 inches of snow here this morning, but a lot of it has already melted.

Interesting game so far, Lil G! I'll be happy whoever wins ;) I'm glad Detroit is getting the $$ from the influx of people.

Marita - Sending some prayer and pixie dust your way :grouphug: Hope your mom does OK. I have faith that you'll be able to do the driving if you have to! One nice thing is that maybe your mom won't be on your case if you want to have some good German beer or wine this time while you're there :)

Allie - Sorry to hear your trip is a no go  More time for training for your run?!

Twink - I'm feeling pretty good - 30 lbs GONE!!!

PEEJ!!! I see that you snuck in while I was typing! WELCOME BACK! You WERE missed!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PeeJ! WB!!! We did miss you!

Want to hear all about it! What do you mean, leaving out the details on nekkid people and gay bars? Don't you dare! popcorn::

Moo, thanks! Not sure how its going to work with the German beer, LOL. Have to see. Don't know where I will be staying if mom is still in the nursing home, which she probably will be. Most likely in her apt. but not sure.

YAY on 30 pounds gone, that's fantastic! :cheer2:

BBN, just saw an ad on TV that included Peanut butter eggs. I'll have to try some this year. I discovered a package with 6 twin-packs of regular peanut butter cups in the fridge today, and decided that we share our fortune, I could liberate DH of half of them to take to work :rolleyes1

These longer office work hours are conducive to snacking...popcorn::

PEEJ!!!!!! WELCOME HOME!!!!!! Of course you were missed!!!

Thanks for all the hugs and pixie dust. :grouphug: The edited version is the fact that the airlines decided to go back up with their prices before I could get DH on board. It's ok, that's just money in our pocket. :teacher: It was fun to dream. :cloud9:

Moo- Congrats on the 30 lbs.!!!! MOOHOO!!!!!

Moo- Congrats on 30 lbs gone!!!!

Mony- Awesome news about Tim. Hooray!!!

Peejster- Welcome back!!! Tell us all about IT. The trip. Not the Stephen King novel. ;)

NAB- We had an influx of cold weather so I thought of you my Canadian friend. I'll take your baby advice under consideration. :rotfl:

Marita- Sorry about your mom but glad you have a trip already planned. My grandpa had a stroke back in October and now he is in a nursing home. Sigh. There are just no good solutions.

Lalijack- I grocery shopped in the COLD. Talk about freezing my astarstar. There was a very young mama there with her baby. NO COATs? :confused3

I am supposed to be writing a test. But I want a snack.

Marita, sorry about your Mom.

Money- so glad that you got better news!

Moo
- yay, 30 lbs!! I'm down about 13 now, still doing Nutrimirror. Hubby is doing it with me.

I need a bubble bath, posthaste!

Ahh, good to see that the prodigal Peej has returned. I can wait until tomorrow for pics and at least one anecdote which will make us all LOL. Consider that your assignment for tomorrow. Missed you oodles!

Moo, w00t for 30 lbs gone!!!! That's pretty amazing!

Marita, sorry your mom is not doing well. I bet a visit from her daughter will perk up her spirits. Meanwhile, I'll add you both to my prayers.

Allie, sorry your imaginary trip didn't pan out. We're not going this year either, unless one of us wins the lottery. Heh. (I guess our odds of winning would be better if we bothered to play, huh?)

Twink, I got my groceries done. Bleh. As I walked out of the grocery store, the weather went from a strong, steady drizzle to a torrential downpour. By the time I got to my minivan, I was completely soaked. (Side note: wet jeans are not fun.) Unfortunately, I will have to go the the market again before the week ends, since I have to buy all the ingredients for my Easter dinner. I need a personal assistant!

Tomorrow is the day that Boris' class visits the Massachusetts State House. He's pretty excited to go, as well as to have me as a chaperone. I need to savor that notion of his while it lasts....pretty soon he'll be rolling his eyes every time I glance in his direction. *sigh*

I am off to bed. I'm thinking that a good night's sleep and copious amounts of coffee will be necessary if I'm going to deal with a school bus full of 3rd graders in the morning. Sweet dreams, all!

Thanks for the good wishes! It's been pretty easy to lose so far because I haven't been hungry.

Great job, Steph! It makes it easier when your hubby is right there with you, doesn't it? My hubby got his weight loss surgery date today - May 1. I'll be so happy when he's not eating pizza all the time!!!

Lynette - I forgot to send congrats for Boris's big win in my post earlier. w00t!!!

I feel for you being chilly in the office since I'm losing some of my insulation :scared: I haven't felt this cold in ages. What does CBM want you to do, work with an afghan over your lap?!

Allie - Boo on the jump in airfare. Maybe you can find some fun stuff to do locally and have a staycation?

That about the time I leave Moo, not far away at all. PD to you DH!

Moo, Hey, it will be great with less insulation in the summer. It's easier to add layers than to dress down.
I have my turtle neck sweater laid out for tomorrow.

It's the IN thing to do!! No travel, no expenses, maybe some excursions with the kids, maybe a weekend stay at a lake?

Of course that doesn't help the economy much :rolleyes1

Well, Kisses is a Mama.....again. Somehow she managed to get locked in the garage last night and had them in a back corner behind some left over dry wall. I don't know how many because we don't have a flashlight.

Twinkie - Did you mean to call me at 9:05PM last night? I only heard it ring a couple times and no message was left, so I figured a little person in your house might have been doing the calling.

Peej - Welcome back! Please post pictures, but leave out the gay bar escapades. ;)

Moo - Congrats on your lost 30 pounds! I found some of them.

I was up to a total of 8 pounds gained this morning, which freaks me out because just a few days ago I was 2-3 less than that. I will not be eating fast food or ice cream ever again. I don't think I can give up my chips with my sandwich at lunch though. :headache:

Isaac has cut a 7th and 8th tooth and I think I see a 9th coming too. (he does NOT like for me to brush his teeth right now) So weird he's getting so many at once when he's gone months without getting any more.

MommyP- I am so sorry!!!! That was Gabe on the phone. I guess we are both lucky he didn't send you a picture or leave a long msg. I thought I stopped him before he called anyone or downloaded anything from the web. I have a good friend at church who has a little guy Gabe's age. Her son is also doing the same teething pattern as Isaac. He only had 4 teeth till last week and now all his gums are swollen. Looks like he is getting the first set of molars too! Talk about a cranky little guy.

Lynt- I was thinking the same thing as I loaded my cart last night. I realized that I would need to go shopping again on Friday for Easter because it was too early to stock up on perishables like eggs. I hope it warms up. I have a ton of errands to do but I hate being out and about in the cold. Have fun on the field trip. My last field trip was to our state capital but that has been a few years. The teen is too old for parents on field trips and the girls just started having them this year. So far I have lost (?) the lotteries that allow parents to attend.

Marita- I choose going to bed over the snack and the test. So now I HAVE to write the test. I am giving it tonight.
