I'm so bored, I checked work email after 10 pm. :lmao:

What a loser!
Now off to plan an imaginary trip to Paris!

I AM Back!!!!!!!! I finally found my password. Helllllo to every one. I been reading but not posting.duh Glad to see you at home celery. Good job on the weight Moo.

I made a shopping list for the grocery store, then I could'nt find it. 2 hours after I got home, I found it in the refridgerator........

I typed up a post last night, but it disappeared due to the board maintenance.

Welcome back, CelMama! Glad you figured out your password. And thanks for the nice comments about my weight loss. I'm a couple pounds short of 70 lbs. I had hoped to hit that goal by my three month anniversary yesterday, but fell a little short.

Today, my BFF asked me to go with her (i.e., drive, because she still hasn't driven since having all those medical problems) to see Ron and Mike from the Biggest Loser show at our local health food store this afternoon. Even though I don't watch Biggest Lower, it was interesting hearing them talk about their experience on the show and their weight loss, which was about 400 lbs between the two of them in only eight months. Pretty inspiring, but they sure worked out a LOT!

Marita - I also had a major brain fart today and missed the memorial service for my sister's best friend this morning. Doh!

We had torrential rain last night and have a huge pond in our side yard. Driving to and from my friend's house, I saw many yards and fields that were under water. I think we've had enough rain for a while!

We're home from Michigan! What a blessing I was given!

Wednesday - looked like rain. Only thing we were to do, was paint, paint, paint - OUTDOORS! It didnt rain!! :cheer2:

There were 6 in our crew - me, 22yr old David, 16yr old , 2 9th graders, and 1 8th grader....

David says on day 1... "Whats the difference between coincidence and God sightings" Day 5 (our last day at the house) I BELIEVE!! The miracles of the Lord were upon us! from catepillers on our white house - they moved 3 of them.. (we discussed how we can relate catepillars/butterflies - Christ) from the next day forward we never saw another catepillar - but every day thereafter - BUTTERFLIES!! The last day. started horrible. Gallon of paint spilled in David's car... so many glad things happened in this tragedy - my favorite when David turned to me and said "how do you remain so calm always - you are so patience" :rotfl2: um... I had just laid into my dd yelling at her the night before... this patience... its from God! To when I decided to cheer up the kids and use my last $30 to treat them to McDonald's ($1 menu) and they said, "Mom we'd rather use that money to give Mr. Tubbs some flowers - he hasnt had flowers since his wife died (2005)" Yes, I cried, gave thanks to the Lord for these kids... and we drove to a flower stand. Mentioned it to the worker.... she called her uncle came back and said "Uncle owns this stand, take whatever you want, however much you want - its FREE!" FREE!! we got Hostas, gerber daisies, Shasta Daisies, flat of marigolds, hanging baskets... and then she said "and I want this money from me to be spent on these kids for their lunch, only on their lunch"

Amazing week. Amazing Kids. Amazing God!!

I see there was a posting frenzy of sorts. kewl.

Good luck with the new guy Cel.

Hi to all moovers!

I am officially exhausted. Rodeo. Baseball. Packing. Teenagers and Dating Drama. My FIL fell off one of our horses. Smattered the bones in his finger. And was told he would extensive surgery to fix it. Had a concussion and amnesia. Family Drama. Gonna try to sneak in a nap. Keep y'alls fingers crossed that all hellions cooperate with said plan. hee.

Sandy, YAY, sounds like you had an awesome trip! Welcome baclk!

BBN, Yikes! Hope your FIL will be OK. Fingers and toes crossed for your plans. have a fabulous trip, when do you leave? For how long? Can I stalk you? (oj wait, I dont have time for stalking, it's budget time) FYI, its hot as helk here. But you probably know that.

Finally made it to Walmart again to get my watch battery. Luckily, this time they had it in stock. I asked the girl to set my time, since I cant do it with my short, but fat acrylic naiils. She set it wrong, DUH! But DH saved the day.

At the grocery store yesterday (the trip where I misplaced my shopping list in the refridgerator) I got 2 boxes of fudge brownies that were on sale. I may make one tonight. Or banana bread. I got a small banana, the last one was too big, made it like pudding, ughh.
I have been ordering Tuna salad on a Kaiser roll with American cheese for lunch a lot. $3.97. And they run out sometimes. So yesterday I got tuna and hamburger buns and cheese. Gotta make some tuna salad tonight. Cant eat it every day, but whatevah

BBN, about the fathers day cartoon, I remember my dad explaining percentage to me. I thought he was the smartest man in the world! H did in German even.

Special shoutout to Papa! You think he reads the Dis from his cloud?

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TO ALL THE DAD'S OUT THERE!!!

Went to the cemetery with fresh flowers from my mom's garden today for my Dad.

Just got home....

Was at my Mom's for the weekend.

My nephew and Godson graduated from college. He is now officially a Graphic Designer at 19. He even got a job first day out. I am so proud of him. Hubby and I help pay so he could go. He really wanted this. Actually he would like to do another year and do a cartoon course. Maybe he can do a night course.

Checking in at the new place....

KC finally had its first real snowfall yesterday -- about 5 inches. I've only shoveled twice this year and neither one of those snowfalls was deep enough to completely cover the grass in the backyard (and, yes, DW did mow at the tail end of the grass growing season). I did NOT shovel this time (first time ever I think I skipped that) other than a couple of tire track paths for my car because we are supposed to have two days in the 60s and two days in the 70s this week (thus making all the snow go *poof*).

I'm up at dark 30! Yuck!! and I'm tired. No newspaper this morning, what's up with that???? So I'm on the computer instead.

They say today could be one for the record books in terms of heat. It's 81 degrees already at 6:30 AM. Great, just great! They said it could feel like 115!

Sandy, banana nut bread and tuna sandwhich are ready to go.

Have a great day, everyone!

Marita-- Why were you doing up so early?

They are calling for hot weather here too but that only means mid to high 80's With the high humidity I am sure we will complain some. :rotfl2:

Sandy-- Loved all the pictures you post. You guys did a great job!

Celery--

Well we are on the home stretch of school, 4 more days counting today. Report cards come home on Wed. But my two are still talking about Science tests and project presentations today. I'm sure these will not be on that report cards. I even let them stay up to watch Toronto's Much Music Awards because the Jonas Brothers and Lady Ga Ga were on. Their tired today!

Good Morning Y'all! We rodeo'd this weekend. I thought I'd share a few pics from the main event. (The bullriders get all the glory in this sport. Must be why the babynurses want to do it. lol)

My brother gave us his "old" camera cuz he bought a fancy schmancy new one for their Europalooza trip. However, his "old" camera is fancier and schmancier than the one we had. I was sitting up in the announcers stand and took these pics. They gave us the long range lens and I thought it worked great. Also, the camera is one of those that you can just hold and press the button and it will take the entire sequence, except I didnt know that until AFTER Gigantor rode this steer. He was so mad that I missed the ride and only got the end where he got a mouthful of dirt. lol You can see in the last pic that the steer stomping his arm. I told him if he breaks that arm, there's no more football, but he doesnt care. He thinks this is fun.

What happened to Spring? I just hate this HOT HUMID stuff! Maybe its time to head to the lake...

Hey, did anyone feel the earth stop? Seriously - my brother invited us to my parent's lake - while he's there!! He's trying to extend an olive branch - July 4th!! :faint:

now, what happened to my tent?

BBN LUV the rodeo!! watching relatives bull riding, not so much!

Marita hope you dont need a nap by noon!! (heat and humidity make me tired!)

Great pics BBN. I didn't even notice that the lighting was all wrong, they were blurry and off centered.

BEFORE or AFTER??? If you really want to know, and you may not as it may be very disturibing, you might want to look here, there or everywhere. Well, not here.
