Peej - That's a heck of a long day. My day yesterday was 11 am until 11 pm and that was bad enough. I went in late because I could only work 32 hours this week. It was nice having a short day today.

I went to a consultation this afternoon for strength training with a personal trainer. I signed up for four weeks. We'll see how it goes . . . Hubby has almost caught up with me on the weight loss, so I need to crank it up a notch :dance3:
There are lots of people who work 3 or 4 doubles in a row meaning once they get home at midnight or whatever they go back at 6:30am!! I am fine with working doubles, but not 2 in a row. I am just working 3-11 tonight. :thumbsup2

I've always wanted a personal trainer!! But I always thought it would be weird. While you're on the treadmill doing whatever it is they tell you to do, what are they doing? Just standing there looking at you?!

P.J.-- why did you take a bit out of her Mickey bar.:lmao: I was wondering why you had the Jonas Brothers pic posted until I read. They are here in Toronto this weekend for the Much Music Awards. Crazy girls everywhere.
I have a dessert eating problem. She was too slow in retrieving her Mickey bar and that was the consequence.
There was a little girl at the restaurant last night telling me all about how it was her birthday and she got Jonas Brothers tickets that morning. She even had a Jonas Brothers shirt on. She was maybe 7. She was super cute and proceeded to tell me everything about them. I think her parents were relieved that someone else was listening to her talk for 5 minutes!

Morning all.
Peej, I really do think about you all the time! I was just telling a coworker about you! :lmao:
She was saying how she was going to take her girls to WDW over christmas break.
which made me think of you and how you get to see YOUR fireworks for your birthday every year. so then I had to explain about you - how you're from Cincy, just graduated from Xavier, just finished your first year of teaching, but now you're working at a restaurant in disney world. :lmao:
Then I said "I know I'm weird. I've never even met her!"
Anyway, I'm trying to convince her to take her daughter out of school and go during the first two weeks of december.
cuz I can't imagine trying to fight the crowds on your very first trip.

I'm headed to Nashville!
I should've left at 5 am since I need to be there for a 9 am meeting, but I conveniently "forgot" when my alarm didn't go off. ;)
I'll make it to the 1 pm meeting, however.
blah.
I hate meetings!
You're a weirdo but at least you know it. Did you also tell her that you've tried to meet me several times and I've denied you? That might confirm the fact that you're a loser for her. Hope you had a safe trip to Nashville.

I need to go accomplish things before work. It's been real?

Nabbie - Yes! I hate it that men can lose weight so fast, dang it!!! But I knew this was going to happen, so hopefully the strength training will help me keep losing at a good pace. Today is my three month anniversary and I've lost 67.5 lbs. I was hoping for 70 lbs, but didn't quite make that. I'll have Don take my three month pics tonight and will try to post the before and after shots.

Peej - One good thing about doing this strength training is that they don't have treadmills or elliptical trainers :goodvibes They expect you to do some cardio on your other days. I'm a little freaked out about having someone watching me, but I don't know how to do any of this stuff, so I keep telling myself it's a good thing I'll have someone right there to make sure I do things right! With my knee and weight issues, the trainer that runs the place said he'll be working with me instead of one of the other trainers because he likes a challenge. He's worked with several people who have lost over 100 lbs.

I saw on All Ears that everyone can now make restaurant ressies on-line!

Cel - You should definitely try to convince your friend to go to WDW in early December. I'm still trying to get my sister to decide where she wants to go to dinner before MNSSHP.

Thanks for making all this info easily accesible for any looney stalkers out there. :thumbsup2 You forgot to mention her social security number and current bank account balance. ;)

You listen to 7 year old girls???? I have TWO 7 yr old girls that love to talk. At the same time. Maybe I *should* bring them to see you this summer. Then your FB status update would be true.. hmm....

Skylight Update- since I know you all care deeply.

1. The minnesota twins curtains were not harmed.
2. The PROFESSIONAL roofer was confused, astounded and even
amazed at how all that water could have gotten in the teeny tiny crack that didn't even go through both layers. It was a doozy of a storm however.
3. Short term solution, he caulked it. He is coming back next month to install a brand NEW skylight that will be superior in all sorts of ways. It was less expensive than we planned $$$$$ but still pricey.
4. We have decided to do the interior repair ourselves. Blech.

And now you quoted it so there will be ample entries for the stalker to see!
If she won't meet a celery stalker, maybe she'll meet another kind of stalker! :confused3

Off on a first date. eek!

Have fun Cel. I admire you. First dates are nerve wracking.

I can't believe I forgot to comment on all the pictures.

MommyP- The pool one is my favorite. :thumbsup2 You rock!!!

Everyone/Anyone- Does the middle Jonas brother look a tiny bit like the freaky micheal jackson kid on Nip/Tuck? Just a little?

Finallly I have time for a frenzy and it is Friday night. Maybe I'll have the kids twirl their napkins at suppah for a little change of pace....

1. Put em in the safe deposit box next time it rains.
2. Yet still happy that it did so he could earn a fee.
3. Oldest trick in the book. Charge you a little now and a lot later.
4. (read: submit our damages to the insurance company and pocket the proceeds)

1. Good idea. Do you think that would be safe enough? or should we also make sure we have a trust fund to provide climate controlled storage for them in the event of our untimely demise?
2. Being a roofer in Kansas seems to be pretty recession proof. Hot work however.
3. I thought lawyers did it the other way around?
4. Unfortunately no. Between our high deductible and "claims free discount" there will be no proceeds... just me using my new found drywall skillz.

1. Truely you are brilliant. I will call the Smithsonian right now so they can prepare the extra security needed.
2. Or the theme and chorus to an 80s song.
3. Uh. Um. Er. Oh dear, look at the time.
3. You know what they say, those that can, do. Those that can't fix drywall and post drivel and dreck.

3. Yes, look at the time.
3. Did you mean 4? Evidently you are still all hot and bothered by that last post.

Twink, while you and the cracker were lobbing snark at each other, I spent the evening practicing my Hoedown Throwdown moves under Natasha's tutelage. Please try to contain your jealousy.

Wonder where everyone is tonight? :confused3

The Moos went shopping together this afternoon (I know!!! Well he didn't actually go into the clothing store with me, but we bought matching tennies at the sporting goods store).

And we went to see The Hangover. Pretty funny, but pretty risque

Twink - Glad it's no longer raining inside your house. It's pouring here tonight and I can hear the rain dripping into the fireplace. TG no mad drywallling skilllz are needed here

Cel - We need some detailz on your date!

Lynette - Is it my turn yet??!

Hello! My date was a three hour dinner!
And I told him how guys just disappear on me and don't text or call after we meet - so he sent me 4 texts while I was on my way home telling me how he had a great time and he thinks I'm great. :cloud9:

I won't get my hopes up, but we'll see.

Forgot to talk about you guys.

twink and WT - thank you for the entertainment! Great drivel and dreck session! :lmao:

big L - it took me a minute, but then I remembered Breadman and Hayden playing the song for me and explaining it.
I still haven't seen the movie! :scared1:

moo - see above for date update!

Moo, is your furlough day unpaid?

Nothing of interest to report here today.

Nice to see some snark around here, LOL.

Im going to do exciting stuff like working on my dryer cover now. I'm beat. I want a new job!
