Moo: I could tell which babe was you in each picture. You still have your baby face!

Marita: You need a day at the spa. Several of them.
Those old family photos sure are a hoot, aren't they! Maybe the resemblance won't be quite as striking once I lose some weight again. My cousin who's uploading them is two weeks older than I am, so we've always been really close. She's the one who joined me at WDW after my daughter went home.

Mony, your new avatar pic is great too. You remind me of Melanie Griffith in Working Girl :)

And I toadily agree that Marita could use a visit to the spa. Great suggestion.

I think that might actually be the CORRECT usage of capitalization. and not random at all.

Think of how the meaning changes just by hitting the shift key.

WHY do you have to date anyone?

Why do YOU have to date anyone?

Why do you have to DATE anyone?

Why do you have to date ANYONE?

I really should leave things in the hands of a professional.
:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

What a babynurse said:
Might I suggest "Pain", "Scream", "Push It", and "Relief". in that order.
Yes, but can you find those songs for FREE??!

Peej - I LOLed over your principal story

Today's telecommuting was fine, but it was shortened by a doctor's appointment. Boo. Just had to get some paperwork filled out but he was running WAY behind.

Cel - That's a long dry spell of no dating, but just look at how much healthier you are now for your own self! Exercising and everything. w00t!!! :thumbsup2

MommyP - Great pics! Yay on your new camera!!! I think you may have the same model that I have.

Lynette - Ugh! Good thing CBM treats you well other than his stinky and other weIrd proclivities :sad2:

How's the new laptop? My hubby just got one of those new Dell minis. It's so cute and it has XP instead of Vista.

What a horrible day! I finished the forecast, but an hour late. Had to do a discussion with the global Resorts team about how to treat some initiatives, which is what caused my issues yesterday.

Then they came back with questions late this afternoon about something else. Plus the boss wanted to discuss the executive billing for the Bar Mitzvah while I in the middel of another crises. I was stressed to the max!

A spa day sounds great!

Hope all sick people/babies get better ASAP.

Combine that with my new "office hours be there 8 hours a day" requirement, and I am almost hoping for a layoff... But not quite!

Good evening, everyone. I am sorry to report that the beurking has returned. Poor Boris went all day feeling okay, ate well, went to school, yada yada yada. When he finished his homework, he told me he was going to take a quick shower and go right to bed. It was 7 o'clock! I figured that maybe he was just tired from having been sick, and that the extra rest would do him good. But he woke up about 15 minutes ago and got sick again. Ack! Looks like he'll be home from school AGAIN tomorrow! My poor guy!

1. Very true! Sometimes I spend the better part of the day biting my tongue so I don't say something I shouldn't.

2. The new laptop has still not arrived. It's still in production at Dell. It's scheduled to ship on March 9. Tick tock tick tock........

1. IDK. the one from 4th grade is more faded than the one from 10th grade. Maybe eventually they will both disappear.
There's something redneck about having pencil lead permanently stuck in your wrist.

Peej - I LOLed over your principal story
Glad to be of service. And I hate it when doctors are running behind. Yeah, I had nothing to do but sit in your waiting room all afternoon.

Anyone have any fun weekend plans? I'm going to Cincinnati because...HOLLYWOOD WILL BE THERE!!!!!!! :cool1: :dance3: :cheer2: We have many fun events planned. Tomorrow night we are going snow tubing. They're open till 2am. You better bet we'll be there. Has anyone ever been snow tubing? It's so much fun. A little escalator takes you up to the top of a huge hill and then you just get to fly down!!! On Saturday we're having a very fancy girls only tea party!! :snooty: We're going all out with the decor and the food, etc. Everyone is going to get all dressed up. Should be fun. I'm making petit fours!

Thanks, Peej. Wanna trade....petit fours for a beurk bucket? Pretty please?:flower3:

L - Sorry, I didn't realize you were still waiting for your laptop. Poor Boris :scared:

Marita - Drats on your horrible work day

Peej - Hey, that sounds like a super fun weekend! :dance3: Are you having the little tea sandwiches with the crusts cut off too? Yummy. That Hollywood sure gets around :)

Lynette -- Sorry about Boris. That is what happened to us too. The kids seemed fine ,send them off to school only to be sick again.:confused3 Hope tomorrow will be better and the true end.

Moo-- Love the baby pictures. You look the same. So cute.

Mommy P-- Yay we have pictures. You look like you have a basketball under there. :rotfl: But why do you have a light switch above the toliet paper?

Marita-- Sorry you are having stressful few days at work. Thank goodness tomorrow is Friday and the weekend will be here.

Thanks (again) ladies. I must say that I feel lucky they weren't sick during their February vacation last week.

Thanks for the sympathy hugs, Moovers! :grouphug:

Where are Moo's baby pics? I didnt see them on facebook, but I am too tired to go look any more for them.

On top of everything else, as I was on the phone with the boss today, my earring felt loose. So I went to push the backing in. NO go, my earlobe split in half!!:scared1:

I just wear smallish stud earrings, nothing heavy pulling down :confused3

It didn't hurt at all, but not looking pretty. Luckily, I discovered I can wear some old clip-ons till I get it fixed to hide it and not wear my hair pulled back.
And speaking of fixing it, according to Google, requires a plastic surgeon at a cost of $450-$650, which I am sure will NOT be covered by insurance. Apparently it's pretty common. So I emailed the 3 local plastic surgeons in town to get details and quotes.

Can I just crawl into a hole for a while?

uhhhhhhhh. Am I a bad friend if I say no?

Ha. She is a gadabout just like me. That word courtesy of you. ;)

 I know you said it didn't hurt but that sounds ouch!! Poor Marita!

Thanks, Peej!

To add insult to injury (truly), the news just said they approved a toll hike of $.25 per toll booth starting in April. That will add $250 a year to my commute. I think I will change my route as much as I can, which will add even more to my traveling time.

OUCH, Marita!

My cousin posted the pics. If you see where I've commented on certain pics, you can go and look at the whole series of pics.

Or just ask to friend my cousin. I think she'll remember you since you've met twice ;)

Peej: Tres funny story! I loved it!

Poor Boris. I had a little man here at day care who kept beurking, even though he was eating and felt better, and his mom took him to the dr. He was full of poop, and it had to come out some how. All fruit and veggie diet and children's laxatives until it started to work again.

Marita: Make an appointment at your nearest SPA. ASAP!!!!!

MommyP: Cute pics. No fair how pretty you look pregnant.

Moo: I was 17 in that picture. No smile due to braces STILL being on. I never got Melanie Griffith, but ALWAYS got Cindy Brady.

Cel: I thought lead was dangerous. Could explain alot though.....:rolleyes1 LY/MI.

Marita, ITA w/Peej...that sounds ouch. If it's any consolation, I know several people who have had their lobes stitched, and I guess it's a pretty painless thing.

Peej, I think I can forgive you for not wanting to trade with me. You get a pass on this episode. You're welcome. ;)

Moo, nice pics! i'm also enjoying the ones of Mony that keep showing up on my status updates. Over the past two weeks, a bevy of girls with whom I went to high school have surfaced on FB and one of them has oodles of photos of us all in various stages of teen fashion victimhood. It's pretty funny/scary/embarrassing!

ETA: (This may be waaaay oversharing!)

Mony, I can say with absolute certainty that that is not Boris' issue. That end of the boy is working normally. I almost wish that were the case!

Thanks MP. Have I EVER mentioned that pregnant chicks are hot?

Marita thanks you for that helpful/reassuring post!!!

I am also happy to take any donations for said surgery. If I ever wanted an appointment with a cosmetic surgeon, this would NOT be my surgery of choice!!!!

Well, glad it didn't hurt because it sure sounded painful, Marita

I was surprised myself. Maybe I should retract all that and say that it hurt like helk to see if I can get Paypal donations toward the surgery...

Think that might work?

But would you eat then Marita?

Hey, I made it through 2 days of my new health kick. Can I get a Woot! Woot!

I even lost a pound.

I wanted to go walking after work, but it started to rain and that just changed my mood. Next time I promise not to be a wuss and put on a left over poncho from our disney trip.

Yea it's friday!

I hope the sickies have ended and you can all enjoy a nice day.

Good MoOOrning Mooovers!!

Friday took is sweet time rolling around his week :sad2: There is a glass of red wine with my name on it at the end of today.

I am stressing because a good friend of mine and I have not been getting along and she wants to have "a talk". And stress turns into IBS attacks for me. I am such a baby. Heartburn and pooping.

By the time I get to the red wine, the talk will be over, work will be over and I will be relaxed.

Have a great day. :cheer2:
