our snow is so deep that the sidewalks and corners are dangerous to go around cause you cant see ......even coming out of our driveway.....hubby had to snowblow a track around the back fenced in yard for Megara to be able to go potty..we had alot this last storm....23 inches to be exact...."did I tell you I hate snow.yah maybe I mentioned it once or twice last year or was it this year

okey ......listen to this....

I turn on the news and OMGOODNESS.......we are in for ten to fourteen inches of that stuff again.........what on earth happened to the forecast that said.....a few flurries.....something came up from the south...and brought moisture to us..and then Canada gave us cold air and voila......a major nor'easter......coming our way......we probably wont have school tomorrow like last Monday......I hate snow but "you already knew that"..hahaha.....

Alright Pumba! I see why you hate snow!
We only got a couple of inches and it's already melting - but snow makes it impossible to do anything!
I tried to go to the grocery and ended up with snow all in my trunk! I had to take my cereal out of the box because it's soaking wet now!

I also found my first letterbox - it's like geocaching, but you don't need a gps - you just follow clues.

I talked to breadman - he lives south of me but north of Allie -
he got 8 inches!!!
his sattelite tv is out and so is the electricity, so him and the kids are huddled around the fireplace.

Well we didn't get any more snow but it sure is cold out there. I so want Spring to come.

Celery -- how did you get snow in your trunk, your suppose to clean your car off you know. That is a pet peeve of mine. People that drive around with there windows still covered. They are going to run into me or hit someone walking some day.

I was going to say Breadman can go out and knock off the snow with a broom on his satelite but if the power is off that wouldn't work anyway.

Pumba-- sorry you didn't get your cabin. Hope you find something even better now.

No snow here either!! We lucked out a day or so ago - all RAIN!! (if it had been snow!)

We dont have school Monday - Casmir Pulaski day - yep, we get off for Lincoln's Birthday, Columbus Day, and Casmir - everyone knows who Casmir is - you should!!

YIKES I was wondering how Allie was doing - didnt realize so many are in the path of that storm!!! Stay WARM!! (build a snowman or two!)

and Nab - one bad snow I was in hurry to get somewhere... and didnt get the snow off the top middle of the van.... and sure enough, when I stopped, the whole mess dropped down in my path of vision - YIKES... without thinking I hit the windshield wipers, only to have the next bam hit - bent the wipers - LESSON learned - get all the snow off the car!!

There is nothing on TV..... so guess that means I should do something...

Congrats on the Church with no kids attatched - that is peaceful!

Just talked to my son. He is currently in Montgomery, AL. He was excited to see it snow, first time he has ever seen any. As we were talking, he said it was starting to hail!

It was really dark and raining here this morning, very yucky! Glad it was on a Sunday instead of a workday. It's partly sunny now, but looks really windy. I need to go the grocery store for this afternoon, blech.

I woke up this morning at 10:30 and thought, oh NOOO, I am late for work Then I realized it's Sunday, WHEW! That's the thing that worries me the most about my new work hours, waking up on time. I have been bad at that all my life. My father used to throw cold water in my face to wake me up when I was a kid! It's not that I dont want to, I actually like getting up early, but I just dont hear the alarms. (4 of them) until ages too late. And I am a nightowl. Staying in the office till 5pm will just drive me totally crazy!!!!!!! My son seems to think asking for a compromise will get me fired!! And he stated I would NOT be allowed to move in with him in California. So I'll see how it goes tomorrow.

Our local newspaper just cut out more features. Dropping channels and and certain times from the listing, dropping some of the comics. Pretty soon there will be nothing left.

I remember driving in snow and ice in Germany, NOT fun! And I was a brand new driver back then. Scary thought.

We were in the mid seventies last week, back down to low 60's today and next week.

I just finished dyeing Hannah's hair funky purple. It turned out more red then purple though. It is wacky hair day tomorrow and she wanted coloured streaks in her hair but thought that would be to hard for me to do so I did the whole head. It actually looks good on her. It is suppose to wash out in 8 to 10 washes.

It is spirit week at school, Tuesday is Backwards day, Wed. is Sport Jersey day, Thursday is Hat Day and Friday is P.J day.

Marita-- Hopefully it will be warm again the following week my sister is heading heading that way. She leaves for WDW next Sunday.

Don't forget me when you move. Went to church only had 1/2 of our members there . We only had 1 inch of snow. I want a 12 inch. snow then everyone here would stay at home. I could sit by the fire and drink coffee.

NAB, i hope so for your sister (and for me!) I dont know why I do this, I tend to buy the same thing in different colors. So I have these 3 cable knit sweaters that are the same, one in pink, the other 2 in different shades of green. So when it gets cold, that is pretty much all I wear. I had some sweaters I loved, (again 2 in different colors) but they disintegrated at the shoulders and I had to throw them out (it hurt, I LOVED them!)

Nab, I remember the days of hair coloring. Although never for school. When my kids were teens, they went through that phase. We had green, red, orange, yellow and purple at various times. They grew out of that.

That reminds me, now that we have a new nifty printer/scanner thing, I should scan in my DS in his uniform.

Wine is bought (aka necessity of life) I need to go take a shower before DH goes to bed at 5 and do some laundry, so I can have my identical, but different colored sweaters clean, LOL!

It was suppose be funky purple but it looks red to me.
I told her maybe I should dye my hair this colour.

I just switched computers and the picture shows the red much better on Hubby computer. Mine her hair is dark in both pictures.
