Whew! Successfully avoided the "fireworks" this time....

Picnic was good. Watching the boys was stressful. Besides the tons of kids from our church there are a million other people around not from our church. So basically I only got to talk to anyone while I was eating lunch. lol. Which means I didn't eat as much as I should/could/wanted to. So now I'm having leftovers, don't get excited it's just spinach and cauliflower.

We had to leave the picnic early though so we should pick up our food from Angel food. That sucked, but on the bright side this months dessert is banana cream pie and we now have 3. lol

nothing but bad news - and I'm in a negative mood - trying to get back on the diet wagon!!

My Bright Side is coming here - feels like I'm 'hanging' with goog friends!!

Should we/I or should we/I not? THat is the question - I have about an hour to decide to go to a Scout function... an adult dinner (no adult beverages - its a Scouting event!! ) A friend asked me and dh to come - dh is ok with it (but they'll want him to join - and they are in a different council "no no" and quite honestly I feel too fat to go )

I've spent way too much of my life figuring out the BAchelor Spoiler - Did he (Jasn the Bach with the 4yr kid) or didnt he "dump" the one he gives the Rose to on Monday's show (its all been taped) internet rumors were Yes he did, does that make him a scumbag? He was on The View - and they taped an after the rose ceremony part 2 -

so now I know what happens, who he picks, and doesnt pick - but the jury is still out on if he's a scumbag ....

20 year old surely can watch a 12 year old, too.

On my to do list for this weekend:

So far:

1) get nails done - NOPE (too late now, closed tomorrow)
2) get hair cut - NOPE
3) color hair - Nope
4) make dinner - Nope
5) go grocery shopping - Nope
6) Reshuffle linen closet to DD's old room - Nope

What did I do today? Absolutely NOTHING! Wait, I did load 2 plates and a bowl and some knives into the dishwasher.

If you dont want to post, fine, but we we all sometimes need support from our friends here when thing are not all that rosy. And I for one think that is a big part of this circle of friends. The support we all sometimes need.

I was looking for dinner.
I ran by the grocery last night, but just got pudding and sushi and edamame.
I need to go actually buy groceries since I'll be home for 2 weeks.

I decided on canned butter beans that were in the cabinet, some cheese and some yogurt.
Sounds weird, but it's hitting the spot.

I go get groceries and they are always saying there is nothing in the house to eat. I even ask them if they want anything before I go. Maybe something they saw another kid eating at school but they say no.

Celery-- what happen to all the guys you were texting.

Some people go a long ways between sunshine and roses and the realities of real life, so I'm with you, Marita - post when you need support - AND to share the good times too!

Sandy - Glad you came out of hiding and popped in! Can your married son and DDiL help out when you're on your trip?

I was rather grumpy earlier today so I just read a bit to catch up. Then I decided to take a little field trip and went to Ann Arbor where my DD used to go to school and did a little shopping. They happen to have an Apple Store at the mall, so I took my laptop in there to ask a couple questions and see about getting a wireless mouse. I didn't realize when I bought the corded mouse that the USB port is on the left side of the laptop, resulting in always having to stretch the cord across the front/top of the laptop. The USB position is fine for lefties, but not that great for those of us who are right-handed. So after I mentioned why I was looking to get the wireless mouse, the gal I was talking with went to speak with her manager and then handed me a wireless mouse for free (they cost $69)!!! What an unexpected surprise. I went in there fully planning to buy one. So I ended up buying some software I had been thinking about, Photoshop Elements, instead.

I originally bought the corded mouse because I tend to drop my mouse a lot. But the corless mouse is awesome -- it works using the built in Bluetooth, so there's nothing to plug in, thereby freeing up a USB port. w00t!

Cel - Bummer that the guys you dated turned out to be duds. I harumph them on your behalf!

DS got me a wireless mouse about 4 Christmases ago. Disney would not let me install it (and I coud'nt do without Adminstrator rights) because it was not bought by the company. I should dig it out and get it going, now that I have my very own computer

soooo , one of those cute puppies..we up to kno good, and

left all kind of dropings! great~not!..then as that wasn't bad

enough....i look over...to catch...the lil'dickens..wiping her hiney

..on the new carpet/rug, grrr...so out they go! ...where things

went from....worst to a dog~gone storm! [ not to blame..but someone
the might before..forgot( & some might think on purpose} to clean up


...last night mess...right in front of the door, , so guess what

..i stepped in? & all over my shoes....& smeared..all over the concrete.

..* not that it was ten above..with march winds....!!!

....some days..it just isn't with you?! .......so....with all this
bending over..duties...i needed my medicine. a brand..new jar..
& of course, as i struggle with the stupid..kid poof..lid...it slipped ,

..[ sound like a ann with an "e"...story?, you be right]....the lid "popped"

..{ maybe pooped..?} opened...and alllll , every singled...pilllll fell

right..on the floor. you kno?...the floor that had all the puppies'

work..of art?..scattered. so where a good atheist when i needed one?

@ work..& gave her..all the credit. though, i don't think..she felt any

better..i did, life?....is well made, with all kinds of dynamics.

speaking of poops......Our dog was put on a prescription doggie food because she was "ever so slightly overweight"...well the poopies consistancy is very dry......so one night we were sleeping and ms. Megara fluffs and she fluffed out a twinkie.......hubby and I at two am laughing our heads off....poor thing was slightly embarrassed....megara not the hubby....good thing those suckers were dry....

Thursday I was so down in the dumps (must be the time of the year) and I had not been able to go to my hairdresser because I have baby Ava for a few more weeks......so I tell my niece and she immediately gets her mama to come and get Ava so I can have a complete restoration....hahaha.....hubby calls it that....I had a cut, dye job and a curl........I look back to somewhat normal...

we didnt get the house that we wanted up in Gods land.......I was slightly disappointed.....someone else outbid us.......hey .....MAYBE they cant get a loan.......I know not nice to not think of others......but I wanted that place.
So yesterday we were up the OLD CANADA ROAD in Maine that leads to Canada.....it is a beautiful historic area and I fell in love all over again with the BOONIES.....yesterday was so clear we could see the mts all around Maine and Canada.......just gorgeous ....peaks were covered with snow everywhere......but I hate snow remember that.....
We did a field trip without our realtor so we could see the places before we call her up.....GOOD thing we did that.....one place was nice and neat outside but if you belched the neighbors would say excuse me......to close to other places......the second place we looked at .well the realtor disclosure sheets made it look fantastic....but ......must of had a fire in the last month or so since it was put on the mkt because the back of the house has plywood on the outside and you could see the place had a major wood stove fire.........so back to what we talked about.......I think we should wait and see if any other properties come up in the area that we love.....
