Plus I had a gift card left from last May, so it didn't cost me but a quarter!

I just caught DH in a terrible act. Actually, the act was not horrible, but what it meant was. He is reading a "MAC for Dummies" book.
He went and bought a MAC laptop!!!!!!!!!! Which is not compatible with anything else we have and I know nothing about it. Some guys persuaded him that it was "intuitive".

He is totally ignorant about computers (more than I am). I can do software, hardware is another story... He cant even get the highspeed fixed, and now he adds a MAC???????????

Mac and Vista are bad words in our house...

Dd bought a new laptop that had Vista on it, and she MAILED HER LAPTOP FROM ALASKA, so daddy could take Vista off it...

I have Vista on mine and worked fine until the great power crash of January 2009 appatently killed my high speed network,

Im not sure I want to even approach DH again about his Mac choice. SO far, he hardly had touched a PC at home.

On the positive side, Iwill have a back-up laptop. IF if works.

The stupid network connection is my main worry at the moment.
