Hint to Allie - I believe that a LOT of bbn's "chatting" was actually playing games! Speaking of games, that Twirl game on FB is a bit addictive . . .

I have to agree on the Twirl game, but I'm not very good at it. My brain just freezes sometimes. How can I play you, or anybody else for that matter? I see you in my score thing on the right, but can we play against each other? Sorry, I'm still a FB newbie.

Welllll I had a game board addiction at one point in my life. I do not recommend it.

I am a good chatter though. especially when I am loopy.

I did too for a little bit, but I couldn't stand having all those threads show up everytime I signed on.

Plus with all the runners getting back and having their TR's, I'm sure I'll have lots to say on the WISH boards.

I typed something like this 15 minutes or so ago and got promptly disconnected from dial up again. And then I couldnt get a dial tone again!!!!


I finally gave up and plugged in my home phone line. Hopefully that will stay up for a while.

Moo, it's not coming along. Now neither one of us can connect and even my dial up (from my dedicated line) wont work. That is why Geek Squad is coming.

Moo, he hasnt even been able to GET online. That's the problem. Nor have I (barely)

I get home at 4, he goes to bed at 5. We spent that hour on the phone with brighthouse, to no avail. So all our money is on Geek Sqaud now (literally).

Knitfreak update: Her fiancee got a call from his new job this morning (which he wont start for 2 weeks) and is being moved to a management track after his 8 weeks in training, and getting a $2/hour raise after that. She is taking the next week off to get ready to move to a 2 BR apt. and is willing to sell some yarn at an annual meet this weekend. Which sounds major, I dont think she was willing to part with anything before.

High in the 60's, low near freezing this week, Which is better thatn you poor folks up north. But probably means DH has to go in most nights for frost control this week. I got my turtle neck and leather jacket set out for tomorrow.
