Hey mooovers.

It's been a carpy week. Moved MIL to the nursing home. Sucked. For the best, but still sucks.

I posted an update to my dead trip report. I need to finish it, luckily there is not much more to tell.

Anyone here interested in a 19-yr old going on his 2's again??

I think I need a nap.

Steph-- you are right and I did hear that story about my username.

Celery-- I am with Marita give it time at the new church. Even at our church we would not jump on someone new. Maybe not even notice since we have so many masses one could go too. They could usually go to another mass or something. You do notice regulars at the mass you go to though, maybe give a few times to show you are staying.

Marita-- of course we love your diinner woes. Wish I would have gone out to BK. Instead made chicken, rice and broccoli. And had all the clean up.

Mony-- glad to hear your getting closer to getting that TV up there.

Lexi-- glad to have you safely back. Boo on the snow when you got home.

We are suppose to get more snow and very cold temps. this week.

one of my former rug rats always gets me some white chocolate Lindts truffles.....and I just space those out so that my BS wont go up to high....so I have one in the afternoon and one at night.....otherwise I would eat them all....I love WHITE CHOCOLATE........do you remember that place in DTD that sells candy.....well they used to sell pieces of chocolate in bags...like WHITE CHOCOLATE.......that was so dang good.....I loved it..

well the snow has been piled up on the sidewalks and into the front yards.....I just went out and took a photo of that gorgeous moon shining down on the city.....it is just beautiful....hubby, Megara (the dog for those who dont know me yet) and myself howl at the full moons......I remember once in Disney....we took our daughter and her two kiddos and we were going over the bridge to the pool area in Dixie Landings(aka Riverside)......and we saw the moon and started to howl....we got some good looks.....

Very boring day for me. FIL came over and plowed the driveway so I can go to work tomorrow without getting stuck. Yippee (not). We have LOTS of snow again

Pumba - It's been too cloudy here for us to see the moon. It was supposed to be the biggest full moon of the year last night. We continued getting tht dang white stuff this evening!

bbn and Peej - Nice finish to your trippie. I especially liked the part about finding friendship on the internet

Steph - I loved your description of how easy it is to get to the International Gate from the Beach Club. We went by the Y&BC several times while staying at the Dolphin. The proximity to Epcot is wonderful.

I need to ask for some prayers tonight. I am feeling very shaken at the moment. My really good friend is not doing well. He has kidney problems. He's been on the transplant list for a kidney for 4 years. I talked to him tonight. When he first started having problems 4 yrs ago he went downhill very rapidly. The doctors literally gave him 9 months to live. He was in the hospital off and on. Then, through nothing short of a miracle, he got better. It seems all of the symptoms are slowly popping up again. I could very well have gotten the medical details wrong, because he doesn't like to talk about it and he knows it scares me. I guess I had just been taking it for granted that he had been doing so well. He had also been choosing not to mention that he was sick. He was talking about being moved up on the transplant list, dialysis, etc. tonight. I can't say that I was really hearing most of it. It was making my head spin a bit. Anyway, if y'all could hold him in your prayers, I would really appreciate it. Sorry for rambling.

Welcome back to Lexi. Thanks for your kind words. It was very nice to meet both you and Mimi. Hopefully we can do it again sometime for more than 10 minutes! Sorry you have to enter the real world again tomorrow. YUCK.

is right- I'll be thinking of your friend PJ and Java and her MIL. We are going through the same stuff with my grandpa.

NAB is NAB because it is her son's initials. Not because she wanted to spell ban forward or backwards or because she likes the little peanut butter cracker sandwiches which are staples in the South- which is what I thought. My in laws think everyone should sit down with some nabs and a co-cola at break time which is 10 am and again at 3 pm.


I am so behind on 24. I can't decide if I should jump in even though I have missed most of the last two seasons or just give up. I am really lousy at watching tv.

Maybe I'll just go read my textbook instead.

All I know about what is happening on Desperate Housewives is that it is still on TV, but I faithfully have it on. Oh, and I saw todays beginning where a new guy apparently had married on of the women and now got kicked out. HUH? What happened? I have no clue...

And since when does Carlos have kids and they live with them?????? I am very confuzzled.

Yes Marita. My EMULATION schedule is as follows:

Sundays: Marita- don't eat, don't watch tv, procrastinate but still keep the house clean

Mondays: BBN- you never know what I might do on Mondays

Tuesdays: PJ- I'll have my students hold hands and sing Kumbahyah.

Wednesdays: hmmm- no one- I must continue to bend space & time

Thursdays: WT- I'll try to be a spellunking on Thursdays.

Fridays: I will alternate- maybe I will dispense snark along with caffiene or go throw blankets over the heads of those opposed to breastfeeding in public or tear down some field stone or shovel snow or revamp the college playoff system. Or maybe just a cheery good morning post.

Saturdays: Utahmama- I KNOW!!!!

Wow! What a tiring day.

After all the sluggering we did, DH finally gets a drill out and it easily cut those bad boys into large removable pieces.

Hallelujah because I don't have an ounce of sluggering left in me.

75% of the bench is done.

Now I need someone to come over and dust my house!

Java: Just know that MIL will be getting lots of extra care and when you do go to visit, you can concentrate on visiting and not about what you have to do for her. Hopefully you can sleep easier.

Moo: We have tons of snow too.

So on my girls weekend I'm trying to pull together. I hired a guy to plow out the cottage. Only costing me $25.00. Better than paying for a room somewhere. So far its me and 2 other friends.

Our plans are to Outlet shop one day in West Branch and then hit a casino one day in Mt. Pleasant. My catch a movie too.

Marita...that was Edie's latest husband. He married her just so he could move to Wisteria Lane to exact his revenge on Susan, Mike, and their son (MJ). When Mike and Susan were in a car accident they killed a woman and her child. That woman and child turned out to be Edie's latest husband's family. So now he's going to kill Susan and MJ to get back at Mike. Mike doesn't know this yet and is letting him stay with him. Got it? Smile and nod.

I'm back on dial up! My connection died. I tried unplugging and replugging wires, but nothing. Then my dedicated phone line didnt work (AGAIN). I know its nothing DH did, he has been asleep for hours. So now I am on the home phone line. Home nobody has an emergency for the next couple of hours......
