Hey guess what????????????

I'm back on dial up! My connection died. I tried unplugging and replugging wires, but nothing. Then my dedicated phone line didnt work (AGAIN). I know its nothing DH did, he has been asleep for hours. So now I am on the home phone line. Home nobody has an emergency for the next couple of hours......

I really need a life! :sad2:

Dial up is like watching slugs race

Thanks for the shout outs for my 2500! :goodvibes I posted well wishes to those running down in Disney this weekend, so I was glad I could share my excitement with them. Although, they aren't there 'cause they're all in Disney! :headache: :rotfl: I still have a long way to go! Sit back and get ready.....3000 Here I come! :cool2:
I missed it! Poo! Here's a belated wooo hoooty:

Nab - I'm going to a non denominational church. I listened to some of their sermons online and I think I'm going to like the preacher - I like his style and his sense of humor and he has a way that appeals to people who know the bible and people who are just learning.
Happy for you Celery!!!

We got about 6 inches of snow last night. The temperature right now is 19 degrees, but they're saying that the wind chill makes it feel like it's 5 degrees. Guess I'll stay in and do laundry today.

I love Lindt truffles! The dark ones, the peanut butter ones, the mint ones.....well, you get the idea. I am also a fan of Ghirardelli squares. The extra dark chocolate ones are little pieces of heaven!
Heh. I LOVE that Lynt likes Lindt.
COLD here too. I'm ready for Spring.

I'm back.

I went from sitting by the Hippy Dippy pool all day yesterday drinking a frozen beverage to SNOW here at home.

The Pop was great. We were on the fourth floor in the 50s with an Epcot view. We enjoyed it muchly. Weather was in 72 - 82 all week and only one rainy day.

We also had good luck feeding the little vegan girl. Disney is very accommodating in that respect.

I have to tell you all that PJ's pictures do not do her justice. Mimi and I agreed that she is beautiful and sweet.

All in all a very good trip.

I'll have to read back but I think there are 20ish pages since I left so if anyone would care to recount the highlights I would be much obliged.

HAVE A GREAT SUNDAY!
Sweetie! Glad you're back!!!

Mornin' moovers!

I admit that I haven't read all the posts from yesterday, but I did skim through most of 'em. This thread moves fast, and I'll do better to keep up in the future. Pinky swear! :surfweb:

I have a kidney infection, so I'm laying low today. Big week ahead at work, so I have to feel better. Now for some cooperation from my kidney!

Wishing everyone a fantabulous Sunday! :dance3:
SNAP! Hello! I don't believe I've met you. Very nice to meet you!

The visit to the new church was good. I liked the sermon and I liked the music.
But I think I must be invisible. :confused3
Only one person said hi to me and that was during the greeting part where the worship leader says you gotta find someone to say hi to.

Or maybe I'm the master at giving off "I hate you!" vibes.

Oh well.
Listen to me. I see this a lot. YOU need to say "hello" first. Trust me. Next week you won't be invisible, I promise. ((love ya girlie!!!))

I need to ask for some prayers tonight. I am feeling very shaken at the moment. My really good friend is not doing well. He has kidney problems. He's been on the transplant list for a kidney for 4 years. I talked to him tonight. When he first started having problems 4 yrs ago he went downhill very rapidly. The doctors literally gave him 9 months to live. He was in the hospital off and on. Then, through nothing short of a miracle, he got better. It seems all of the symptoms are slowly popping up again. I could very well have gotten the medical details wrong, because he doesn't like to talk about it and he knows it scares me. I guess I had just been taking it for granted that he had been doing so well. He had also been choosing not to mention that he was sick. He was talking about being moved up on the transplant list, dialysis, etc. tonight. I can't say that I was really hearing most of it. It was making my head spin a bit. Anyway, if y'all could hold him in your prayers, I would really appreciate it. Sorry for rambling.
Done. Ugh, that is so sad!

My EMULATION schedule is as follows:

Saturdays: Utahmama- I KNOW!!!!;)
Hey now! Do I thank you or whine?

Loved the pics! You DD is a cutie too. WHY didn't you post the naughty bolster pillow pic? :confused3 Twinkie and the twins look freakin' adorable too.

Off to gather my kids and make sure their oral hygiene is halfway decently done and their school crap is gathered. Etc. Goodnight, darlings.

Twinkie -- thanks for explaining my username. I remember first posting on your trip report and we talked about nabs. You and your girls look so cute too. Your hair is long.

Lil'g-- I only did one trip report and that was not a cruise one. One was enough. Hats off to to the people that have talent to keep writing them but I do enjoy reading them.

Yes he did! I don't think he ever graduated, but I remember that they gave him an honorary degree a few years back. I think (?). Sorry the thinker just isn't what it used to be. :confused3 :rotfl:

CEL - Give them another chance. I attend a big congregation and sometimes that "get up and greet someone" time, just isn't enough time. Plus, I've introduced myself to members before. But I sit in the same area every week, and I never see the balcony folks, or the ones that sit on the other side. :sad2: I felt that way about our church when we first started visiting, but now they are my BEST friends. :goodvibes

PJ- Prayers said, and will continue to be said for your friend. Here's a  for you

Lex - Welcome Back!!!

Moo
- Thanks for sharing the pics. Funny how you had those lights in your head. You must be an  !

Thanks for all the encouragement guys. I just like to whine!

Did someone just post something? And, why do I suddenly feel like someone hates me?

BDG

Ha! You're so funny! How could I ever hate you?

Peej - Prayers sent for your friend. Do not stress about dialysis - talk to him about PD (peritoneal dialysis) - see if he is a candidate for it - no blood involved and he can do it at home. Tres easy!
We have patients that have lived for 20 years + on dialysis and are able to have healthy, fulfilled lives.

Morning. I was up early, but getting the kids off to school and the little ones invading my house kept me away.

I'm happy to report the weekend project is almost complete.

There is just a small portion of the "bench" to finish and then the final clean-up.

The original brick that was under all the fieldstone will have to be replaced. I don't know what we will do, but I have a few ideas.

Happy Monday.

PSA (not PSE) from the freakin' genius BABYNURSE-

the evile telemarketers now have permission to call your cell phone, you can opt out at www donotcall gov or some phone number which is also on the website

I did not heed her advice in a timely manner and thus I just had a pleasant conversation with Joe from a movie survey company after I dashed to answer my awesome pirates of the carribean ringtone because nobody calls me except family, employers and the schools.

I hearby grovel and say BABYNURSE is awesome. Ensembluhduh.

Off to get a sweater. :yay:

So many pages.....

:welcome: to Snap, crackle, pop. I am EliSabeth. I am the "crazy" one in the group. But the good kind of crazy, RIGHT?

How come when I ask that question, NOBODY ever responds. heh

digressing

PJ and Steph: Hugs to y'all. Sometimes IRL is a bear.

loserfreak: Uhhhh, excuse me?!?! Allow me to clarify *ahem* My exact words were "Mincemeat pie has like spices, and fruit, and sometimes meat and crap like that"

spices, fruit, sometimes meat, AND crap all fit the definition. Hence, making fun of your lack of mincemeat knowledge was not only acceptable, but also expected. ENSEMBLUHDUH!!!

Twink: ToDAy Is EMulAtE a BBn DaY. Wow us. Entertain us. Bring sunshine and good cheer to us. Leave us with our heads scratched but our hearts warmed.

Cel: Maybe you do need visit Sunnybrook if you are giving off "I hate you vibes" in a church...of all places. However, what better place to be rid of your hatin' ways than at a place of worship. Cereally, good for you for having the courage to go even if only one person said "hi".

Moo, Marita, Twink: Lovely pics! Love the twinkie twins poses. Makes me wish I were in WDW with a bed pillow.

Allie: 3000??? amatuer. :cool2:

B D G: Ha

Lex: welcome back. hope you had a fantabulous trip.

MTK: Slug racing can be quite mesmerizing. I know. I do it on a daily basis.:sad2:

Utah: I'm not judging your mammary lovin' ways.;)

Lynt: Are you complaining? about the snow? again? You would think as a nor'easter you would be used to "It"

Mony: Good luck with the fireplace/tv scenario.

Pumba: Yummm about the Lindt truffles. You are making me hungry.

LilG: Is that you getting a lil sugar from Snow White?

All y'all: Consider yourself responded to.

The bolded part just needed to be repeated. :cool2:

I told you that was not a Ric Roll. Sheesh! It is for reals true. They can call your cell phone.

It takes 10 seconds to be put on the do not call list. go to the website or just call. You will be glad you did.

In other news that I forgot to report, and I now recall that I was supposed to do a reporting of sorts:

I liked "Wicked"

I did not love "Wicked"

Call me "WIerd"

I do love "Phantom" and "Les Mis". I think they will forever be my favorite Broadway plays.

It was good. Money was not wasted. "Guh"linda the good witch stole the show.

Also, the dh has been wanting to see the movie "Valkyrie" b/c he is a history buff, especially WWII and Civil War type history stuff.

It was a good movie. I enjoy history and learning things. PLUS, I got buttered popcorn and specifically told the chick "Do NOT be shy with that butter"

So in hindsight, I MIGHT, MAYBE, KINDA SORTA enjoyed the Tom Cruise movie (can somebody slap me with a Suri tag, right quick?;) ) MORE than "Wicked" but c'mon how could I not with extra buttered popcorn being thrown into the equation?

Yes, Twink I said "equation". Calm down. Hold onto your gingham bloomers, and leave that blue ribbon alone.:rolleyes1

What does Dora say about As* dimples? I have a full complement of those. :cool1:

Maybe glue macaroni, pom-poms and pipe cleaners and then top it off with a layer of glitter:goodvibes
Ha!
FYI - from someone older and wiser - aka Camden, who is 6, told his 5 year old cousin "Dora is for Chumps and losers."
I nipped that one in the bud, let me tell ya!
But on the inside I was laughing.
Be sure to share with Golden Child.

1. But the good kind of crazy, RIGHT?

1. Right! :rolleyes1
2. I'd love a sunnybrook visit. I'll be there next Monday. Kay?
I'm bringing Riley pup. I can only stay for a bit. Poor you!
3. DIRTY GIRL!

1. I liked "Wicked"

I did not love "Wicked"

Call me "WIerd"

I do love "Phantom" and "Les Mis". I think they will forever be my favorite Broadway plays.

2. Also, the dh has been wanting to see the movie "Valkyrie" b/c he is a history buff, especially WWII and Civil War type history stuff.
1. That is allowed. Especially since I have not seen it. I LOVE Les mis.
best. play. ever!
I do not love Phantom.
I love the music, but the play is sooooo cheesy!

2. Ick. I can't watch him in ANYTHING anymore.

ANd now to report on my movie news-
I met Bridget (tall and blonde) for dinner - yummy thai!
then we went to the movies.
where we met up with a bunch of church people.
umm.
ick.
they were allllllllllll waaaaaay too high pitched for me.
annoying!
they even got on Bridget's nerves. she had me go because she doesn't know them well.
I WILL NOT be attending again.
I was thinking of going to her church sometime - but I don't think so.
But in other news, me and Bridget saw OUR celebrity again - I don't ever see anyone else, but I saw Kimberly Williams and Brad Paisley at the movies.
She is so cute and pregnant!
he is so short and hobbit like!

Bride wars was good. I liked it a lot.
The stupid previews for "He's not that into you" and the sandra bullock one about chasing some guy named steve were NOT GOOD.
I might have gotten a "tad" depressed, but then bride wars was good so I got over it.

What sucks is when the youngest still likes Dora or Barney (etc. ) and the olders make fun of said shows. That's when I like to remind the olders of the Wiggles underpants they used to wear.

OKayyyyy. Today is my mother's birthday. I think. :upsidedow Probably should call her to wish her a bless-ed day. Speaking of my mother, GUESS who's probably coming to Utah to live with us next month? Here's a hint: MY MOM! I have mixed feelings about it, to be honest. So far I have a good attitude, though. :lovestruc

I thOugHT pOStiNg LiKe tHiS wAs LiNT's IdEa?!? Emulate a bbn. Hmm. I think I should lead off with an ode to some carbohydrate food product, then continue with a cute kid story and wrap it up with a rap "IT" up. Good plan, no?

I told you that was not a Ric Roll. Sheesh! It is for reals true. They can call your cell phone.
To CLARIFY since I am a bbn today, the text she sent me went something like this

CALL 1-888-RIC-ROLL NOW!!!!!!!!!!

hence my confusion.

I would get excited about the "equation" but I can't because today I am emulating a bbn. So excuse me while I get gussied up in my new Carhartts and call up Stephen King to see if he wants to meet me for a pancake supper.

If you don't hear from me later today, please call my lawyer and start a collection for bail money.

:worship: And you joined about the same time I did. :confused3 I need to go to BBN school of chatting. :hyper2:

Welllll I had a game board addiction at one point in my life. I do not recommend it.

I am a good chatter though. especially when I am loopy.
