Homework has been done.
Went for a two mile walk with Riley (i'm sure I lost 5 of those 8 pounds! )
Now I guess I need to get ready for my date. I don't leave for almost 2 hours, but what if I cut myself shaving!
ha.

:cheer2: WOOHOOTY on Homework
:cheer2: :cheer2: 2 mile walk - I thought about walking one mile..

Cel, we need details on the date, ya know popcorn::

Details indeed!!

Marita - surely you dont have enough to do with out counting both HE washers and non HE washers so finance will know yada yada blah blah... :upsidedow

Last edited by Sandy321 : Today at 05:22 PM. Reason: hey did you have to count pillows?? you mean there really IS A BOOK? :

You mean a face book for dummies book? Yes, more than one in fact.

I think i am missing a lot of facebook stuff. Got to be more to it than posting 'what are doing right now?" and posting pics and games? :confused3

I did cut myself shaving! Ha! how funny is that?

I'm meeting this guy at a hibachi restaurant.
my mom has his first and last name, just in case.
My dad insisted on knowing which restaurant "so he knows where to start when one of the serial killers I go out with gets me."

I met breadman on line. I met my ex husband online and I met tammy online.
while not perfect, none of them were serial killers!

I should send Hollywood to talk to them about the dangers of letting family members meet online people.

Anyway, he's 31, a lineman for at&t, a native of middle tennessee (which is weird in this day and age) and seems nice and funny -
but he works out a lot, so that worries me that he'll think I'm too pudgy for him.
He's only an inch taller than me and has INCREDIBLE arms, at least judging from his picture. and he's very cute.
he was in the navy for 4 years and likes boating.
that's about what I know so far.
I think he has a tendency to be quiet, which means I'll ramble lots.
:scared:
we'll see how it goes.

about facebook - Marita - that's all I know to do too! maybe you'll learn some secret and can teach me! :confused3

Cel sending you lots and lots of pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: for your date!

If I learn anything new and exciting about facebook, I'll share with the group. If the book ever gets here.

I took a nap. 30 minutes later I woke up, cause I had a dream about a pot of water boiling and I went to grab a cat, curl it up to put into the boiling water, but the pot was too small :scared:

So I woke up. It was a calico cat, mine is white and brownish black.

So if I tried to boil your cat (the collective YOU) I apologize, and be assured, the cat is safe as the pot was too small

Celery-- glad your parents are looking out for you. Have fun on your date.

I don't remember the last time I went on a date , date. I used to go out every Friday and Saturday night with my girlfriends and dance the night away. Meet guys etc. Now I am sometimes in bed at 10:00 on a Friday night. :sad2:

Marita-- The things you mentioned are all I know about Face Book too. Maybe there isn't anything else....:confused3

The neighbour girl called Hannah at 6:30 and asked if she could have a sleep over.....at my house! I don't mind sleepovers but to invite yourself is a little to much. I told Hannah no because we have church in the morning. I later found out that the family has a hockey game for the brother at 6:00 in the morning and she doesn't want to go....Now I am wonder if she did this on her own or her parents got her to call. The answer was still no.

Last edited by NAB : Today at 07:07 PM. Reason: first dog stew and now cat stew.....

Hey, I had a legitimate reason for dog stew (pacing dog). I have no idea where the cat stew came from.

Dont blame you about the sleepover thingy at all!

Remember, I think Moo proposed at chat tonight around 10.

I need a PM purty please...

Watching Casablanca on TV (old people channel, movies... TCM?) am I the only one that really doesnt like it? I just dont like how selfish Ilsa is...

((((I just have to shout out... I LOVE Facebook! ))))

I can send ya'll out virtual pets, fish, peguins, hearts, Disney stuff, virtual growing plans (which is my favorite right now b/c it take four days for the plant to "grow". Its a fun application.) You can have a water gun fight (no real water involved) or have a pillow fight with eachother. There's a duck duck goose game too. Right now there's a Willy Wonka game that you send little candies to friends which actually helps out St. Jude's Hospital for Children. The sea and pet society one helps out other causes as well. I love uploading the kids pictures for family and friends to see. I uploaded a video of little TJ going down a neighbor's slide earlier tonight (That took a while to upload though.).With any application you use, keep in mind the author of that application needs your information so it can update or track you. Meaning, keep your virus scan and firewalls up to date. I really love Facebook can you tell?:cheer2:

Goog luck Cel and know that we're waiting to hear details ... if you are willing to share.

Sandy a Wog sounds great! Wow, a free tix to volunteer, that'd be awesome! One day I'd like to wog too pixiedust: When do you have to be there?

PS - we just rented BCV points for Marathon weekend :cool1:

Can I sleep in your bathtub if'n I can convince DH to let me come? ;) Or better yet, on your balcony? I don't take up much room and I'll be REAL quiet promise. :goodvibes

yes, it is too much.

esp when you have so much sunshine.. :beach:

Well, I'm with PJ it would need to fall on a weekend because they have taken all our snow days away, and that would tack on more days at the end of the school year. That would cause so many problems (i.e. our youth mission trip would get delayed, then our summer MMO wouldn't have workers cause they would still be on their trip, etc. etc.)

Ok, I withdraw my wish! Thanks Sandy for helping me come to my senses. :headache: I ran 4 miles today. Trying to train for the Country Music Half. Still haven't signed up. Can't get DH to decide whether he's coming with me or not. :confused3

Bethipooh - Congrats on the Grand princess:

Moo - Don't think I can make the chat tonight. Promised DD I would watch a movie with her. If'n I can get away during a commercial, I might pop in and say HI! :wave2:

Thanks everyone for the kind wishes...we are all thrilled beyond belief..

So today we went to the big city and went shopping. DS(11) went to build a bear and made a very pink bear for his new niece and outfitted her.

Hit the Disney store and got some sleepers on sale.

Went to Babies R Us and went a little nutso..so did grandpa...
They had the cutest winnie the pooh hooded towel set that made its way into the cart..:rotfl:

I can help field FB (Facebook) questions :goodvibes

Have a great rest of the weekend every one. The land of Winkin', Blinkin', and Nod are now calling me. :)

Bethipooh, i know these are exciting times for you family. congrats again. Sadly, no grandmotherhood on the horizon for me (and I am going toward 60 was too fast)

Took the kids to see Coraline.

Cute, but had a few odd moments. One my jaw dropped, several parents gasped and my boys had to put their eyeballs back in their sockets.

I was not prepared for them to see that!!!! :scared:

My oldest went to the Urgent care today. Last night awokened by my 12 year old crying.

Something ain't right when that happens.

His ear, major pain.

Turns out his ear was jammed with wax, once they did an ear wash and wax scrape, and SCRATCHED HIS EAR DRUM FREE OF CHARGE, found out it was majorly infected.

WHAT'S UP WITH EAR INFECTIONS AND NO TEMPERATURE?????

DH took him and said he when he screamed he know something happened.

I'm just upset that happened to him. Heck it hurts when you put a soft q-tip in your ear and go in too far. Can you image it being scratched????

THEN the DR. tells my DH in front of my son that she's concerned that he gets the proper sterile drops in case it gets into his brain, cause that can cause some serious problems. Are you kidding me????

We had to convince him over and over that the drops were sterile and wouldn't hurt his brain.

Lovely day today wasn't it?

50 degrees it got to.

Monica,

I am so sorry about DS...how is the little one feeling?

DS went to bed coughing...

I woke up in the middle of the night coughing too...

It was 65 here, expected to be close to 70 tomorrow...

no wonder why we are all sick:guilty:

Hi Bethipooh,

I just noticed your AF reference in your location. Is your hubby in the AF? How is that? I mean life in the AF. My son just joined in May and is still in training, currently in Alabama. ( Hi Allie!)

I miss him, sobb!
