bethipooh - congrats on the healthy ultrasound!!!!!

Alli! Your snow request brought tears to my eyes! That is soooo how we feel!
Only not me right now - I'm heading back to pittsburgh on Monday - no snow! no snow!
eek!

to all concerned about what skin itching foretells:
my skin was itching on thursday and friday. dunno why. I probably need a good slathering with lotion, but it's hard to reach all the places. that's why having a breadman around was so handy.
oh well.
The reason I posted it is because Peej was worried it looked like she killed the thread cuz we were in chat - so I posted for her so I'd kill the thread with my weird statement.
cuz I'm that kind of friend!
I just don't know if I'm the kind of friend who will mail the host to her. cuz I'm lazy. That'd require finding a box to ship it in, going to the post office, finding the book in the first place, etc.
I'll think about it.

meanwhile, she's going to have hollywood stalk me when I'm in the world.
It'll make me feel like a princess:

maybe she'll share her dinglehopper with me! :flower3:

I gained 8 pounds.
ARGH!
and I have that date tonight.
so I'm thinking of going to find a tummy hider of some kind.
suggestions?

I also have tons of homework to do.
but since I have my wireless set up, I can sit in my comfy armchair and work on it.
like right now.
the dis is part of homework, ya know!

I knew it - I'm just way too boring!!

LOVE reading the thread!

of course I havent read back... :drive:

today's a day to curl up and do nothing... or was that yesterday? tomorrow I go into hiding!

Peej - I'll bet you'd find my hubby pretty grumpy too, but I think you'd enjoy meeting and hanging out with Mari :)
Have you purchased him a whole slew of the Grumpy merchandise to proudly sport?

Oh yes I'm sure we would, but we get so tired of the weathermen forecasting snow 5 days in advance (now y'all's weathermen can't even do that) and then dashing all of our hopes the night before said snow event is supposed to happen. They do it just so we will watch them. :sad2: All we Southerners want is ONE good snow that we can miss school, go outside and play in it, take photos and videos, and then have it melt away the next day, is that too much to ask? :confused3
AMEN!!!! Except we got our one big snow and now I still want more. I want it on a Friday night though so I can enjoy it on Saturday and then it's melted by Sunday so we can go to school Monday.

Good morning moo'vers out there...

DD had her 20 week ultrasound(she is at 21 weeks)

A healthy baby is on the way.....:goodvibes

A healthy baby.....GIRL!!!!!!
pink, pink, pink.....

She will be the first girl on her hubby's side in many many years...and our first grandchild.
Congratulations!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

It totally doesn't count anymore because you outed me!! Now you have to do something else nice for me to make up for it. Maybe even two nice things. Ready, set, go. And I don't actually want you to mail me that book. Too much trouble.

You had to ask?!

Places to go, people to see. Except what I really want to do is be lazy.

LilB Love the Mickey in your siggy! and did you watch the Howie show last night? Goog stuff!! :rotfl:

PJ hmmm lost your quote - I cant believe they get to bring so m uch food for bdays - round these parts, NOTHING homemade - then the new word is no more bday stuff - takes up too much time!

were the kids bouncing off the walls? Bet the mom is glad you did the bday party and not her!!

Peej - 2 bedroom if my sis goes or 1 bedroom if she doesn't. I'm thinking I'll just book the lake view, not MK view as I only bought in at the minimum because I didn't want to overextend.

If I add points later, it will probably be elsewhere. Based on passing by the Y&BC several times in December, I loved the BCV location, so a smallish re-sale there is looking pretty tempting.

L - WTH are Hoodsies??!

and I thought Hoodsies was a cute word for the "hoodies" that kids wear - or what I have on right now come to think of it!! :rotfl2: the sweatshirt with a hood attatched..

PS - we just rented BCV points for Marathon weekend :cool1:

Cel and Moo, I guess it must be a regional thing. Hood is a huge dairy company here in the northeast. One of the many things they make is Hoodsies, which are individual ice cream cups...1/2 chocolate and 1/2 vanilla. They're processed in a nut-free facility, so they're safe for kids with nut allergies.

hmmm they have a name!! ok then...

Oh yes I'm sure we would, but we get so tired of the weathermen forecasting snow 5 days in advance (now y'all's weathermen can't even do that) and then dashing all of our hopes the night before said snow event is supposed to happen. yes, it is too much.

esp when you have so much sunshine.. :beach:

LOL Allie! That was funny!

My kids saw remants of snow in the Alps, more like ice patches. You couldn't make a decent snowball out of it. Sigh!

I just sent an email to work about counting washers AND dryers in Laundry rooms and to check on prices for each. There is just something inherently wrong with doing that on a Friday night at midnight...

I still have to pull my chicken from the bone and pull it apart into shreds. Why didn't anyone keep me from cooking this late on a friday?

I made homemade pizza - its gone now tho -

and I made homemade sugar cookies - :confused3 dont ask me why!

They won't pay him anyting more than usual. A Housekeeping Manager who checks the public spaces for cleanliness anyway. But thanks for your concern. :)

As to they'll never know, you can bet there will be comparisons of washes per occupied room. So you can't just make up numbers.

For those who care, there seems to be about .16 washes per occupied room. That means per night, not per stay.

Translated to average stay, about .4 washes per stay. But this is a convention property, probably more for Mods and Values.

You're welcome!

Always happy to educate.

And no, I don't know why they asked. Just a marionette here.

I gave up on the chicken fricassee thing. I just put everything in the fridge for tomorrow.

I found this fascinating.

Marita - since you're counting... did you count the HE washers vs the regular kind? Does the HE washers break down more because people dont know wth a HE washer is and therefore use regular laundrysoap in it, supposedly breaking the HE washers?

curious minds and all that... :laundy:

How about an ode to our favorite hamster?

Ode to Cookie
Of all the bad genes
in Eren's hamster pool,
you got the best
to show off at Lauren's school.
Your fur sustained you
through the week without heat.
You are cuddly and kind
fuzzy and sweet
Thank you for not being a cannibalistic mother
and for not killing your brother
We are oh so glad you aren't blood thirsty,
we just wish you weren't quite so dirty!

Congratulations! A little princess to spoil. You might have to move to Alaska.

Does anyone remember Bobby? Bobby who was created by created by Howie Mendell back in the mullet days. Here's a clip I found of him. If this is the clip I think it is, HM says that Bobby will be making a come back! Here's the clip, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Ar9ybgAg3o

He did a little bobby last night on Howie do it.

Sandy, I have no idea what a HE washer is :confused3 Not to mention that I dont even know have many washers we have. Does Disney have HE washers (whatever they may be)? And I certainly have no idea about repair statistics.
Sorry to be of no help on this one.

Bethipoo, CONGRATULATIONS ON THE LITTLE princess:

Cel, what a cute poem LOL

HE ( High Efficiency) front loading wash machines. They all take HE soap only.

Thanks, Nabbie for that clarification. (tmBBN)

I just got the count on washers and dryers. 13 washers and 20 dryers. TFI

I wouldn't mind that type of snow conditions at all.

There' s a Howie show?! Are you serious?

Thanks, Nabbie for that clarifycation. (tmBBN)

I just got the count on washers and dryers. 13 washers and 20 dryers. TFI
So noted, thanks.

Sandy, your doing the mini-marathon, fantastic! How awesome that would be to run around the park, but that would require running. Do you need a water girl? I'd happy to volunteer. :goodvibes

Computer desktop/laptop report:
I took off this morning not reporting where dh saw that flamingo pink computer, it was Dell Refurbish website. Him being a computer techie he knows what's what. For the most part, the computers are great. We've gotten a few through the site and they're just as good as new. :thumbsup2 Sorry for leaving you all in suspense.

Time up, :laundy: duty calls again. I hope you all are having a great Mootastic Saturday so far.pixiedust:

Marita - I slept past noon today too  Must have needed the extra rest!

Lil Blue - Goog thing you took a pic of the Mickey head snow sculpture!!! Our snow is melting away here too. It's 48 degrees :) Haven't seen that temp in ages.

I'm sure the dogs are going to be a muddy mess when they come inside.

Cel - Itchy ear, someone's talking about you; itchy nose, you'll kiss a fool; itchy right palm, you'll meet someone new; itchy left palm, money's coming, itchy feet, you're on your way somewhere. I guess itchy back just means your skin is dry!

Cute poem :lmao:

Bethipooh - CONGRATS!!!!!

Sandy - w00t on renting points at BCV for your marathon trip! :cool1:

Peej - Hubby does have a couple Grumpy hats (which he bought for himself) And a little stuffed Grumpy that I brought home for him from a trip with friends.

I think he'll be fine if we let him go back to the room to watch TV at night and don't visit the parks every day. When we went in 1998 we stayed in a Fort Wilderness cabin and it took a long time to get anywhere plus it was the week before Christmas so as the week went by it got pretty crowded.

YAY for everyones weather getting better. We are going back to the 70's here, near 80 a couple of days next week :cool1:

Moo, I dreamt I didnt wake up till 2:30 pm, so I was happy it was only 12:15, LOL. But now it's 2:45 already. GRRR!

DH is in bed with a very bad cold. DD said she'll come over tomorrow to make him home-made chicken noodle soup.

I need to make a phone call today or tomorrow. DH was upset at me for spending too much money on my credit card. So I looked at the statement, which he usually doesnt even show me. Well, $$181 was for the Geek Squad, but there was a charge for $89.95 for a wrinkle cream that I didnt NOT order or Receive.
Back in November or December, I did order this free sample, "only pay $2 shipping." I haven't even tried it yet, so I certainly did not reorder. It probably had some fine print that says they would automatically ship more and I didnt see it. OK, fine. BUT, I did NOT receive anything!!!
I hate this kind of stuff with a passion. So now I have to fight with the company and maybe enter a dispute with the Credit card company. I suck at this stuff, but DH is not very supportive at the moment..........

I sure hope my Dummies book arrives today!

anybody..seen a lost groundhog? :scratchin

..bale, sober house, & the most outrageous ...celeb. fights?...

....sorta tell how "we"..used the stuff....i 've talked about here.

...the mother of invention?...same for "interventions?" * not
just for ..those needing ....support..but are just as useful,
..wherever "people" do their ..encounters? yes, they are.

& thats why...we need to share..our stories?

..my wife..like reading those celb. mags. . isn't it funny..they take
pictures..then make up stories? however, there's are those attention
seeking. interesting, some of the behaviors..they put out there?

oh, combine ..all those programs together..+ add medical, and
others....is where we learn.....the difference between theories &
...positive outcomes.

positive & negative...are my most used...evulation tool.
positive measurment= something you desire, or gain.
negative measurment= something not desire, or loss.
2 major causes of emotonal pain..., losses & lonliness. * the second
goes..a long way..explaining the ways a person..."do" in life, respecting
others..has so much meanings?...[ it's awful, to wake up....& realize,
..no matter how many material worth, ...not a single person..cares
...a single feeling..that you exist] . motivation for change?

what makes..all our interventions...work? choice. so many live misey
..just refusing to chose..the alternative. however, stress/stressors....
....has this negative effect...."well-documented"...on memory. so
.."reminders"..can be so hepful. lil'things..can produce....many dreams
..into reality.

...hope everyone.adventures..in life..are happy ones, :flower3:

soooo someone...in the pink?.....princess: . it reminded me..when
my wife..got the results...back. did we wait? :scared: ..are
you kidding?....though she said it several times.....it was hard to
believe....who was comin, :cheer2:

* our new..."middle" child...was not too happy..losing his "baby"
position. surprise?

fyi, iam sure..wishing.there's more pink....for our other..special mom,

pixiedust:

today..i think..i'll wear..my old..bruce s./ e-street 1980 world concert
jersey...pts. really love that stuff...& it's a great lead in.

bobby? ...back, :faint: ...my boys...still have theirs old macd 's toys.

now if you kno our pack~rat tendencies..that shouldn't be a surprise?

..another very effective motivation tool?..disney 's wear!

backie?...welll wdw is a company..but hopefully..they recognize..
the importance...of their "bread & butter:...& those.....that
really understand..the magic..but knows.."how"..to make it work!

* take that...away.....& the parks..are just a place...with rides.

:tinker: [ you have more..tink...than meets the eye! :thumbsup2

LilG, Disney knows the importance of the special touches and CM's, they will protect that.

Dinner is cooked, mail has come. Still no Dummies book. Grrrr!

Thanks, Nabbie for that clarification. (tmBBN)

I just got the count on washers and dryers. 13 washers and 20 dryers. TFI

just wait - you'll soon need to figure out why some washers are breaking (as in HE- front loading seem to be in the community area, the ones inside the units seem to be regular washers)

Not that you want anyone to do more work or anything... :rolleyes1

goog luck on arguing, I know I need to yell at a certain University - (they didnt withdrawal ds when I told them to, and I just figured it out! 4 days too late apparantly)

waiting for you to pass the book on to me...

:rotfl2: cooking by the force - I make pizza from scratch, but you never know how that crust is going to come out - last week it was way tough, last night just right! Sugar cookies were perfect tho! YUM

I wouldnt say I was "running" the Half - but I certainly intend to "wog" it (ie walk/jog) the event/comp forum on the Dis has a great SCREAM Team - they have water for us, oh, but if you sign up to volunteer to give out water with Disney - they give you a free park ticket!! :goodvibes

Mony That Howie do it was hilarious... silly... and funny!

LUV :lovestruc the clapping pic - WTG PJ

They better NOT be asking Finance people about maintenance issues!! We have a huge Repair and Maintenance organization for that stuff.

Yes, i keep procrastinating on the arguing :sad2:

Sandy, I haven't even gotten the book yet, hold your horses, LOL!

Homework has been done.
Went for a two mile walk with Riley (i'm sure I lost 5 of those 8 pounds! )
Now I guess I need to get ready for my date. I don't leave for almost 2 hours, but what if I cut myself shaving!
ha.
