I need a new avatar

Might I suggest....

I vote for the Brian Urlacher pic as your new avatar. Or Marita in the Baltic Sea. Or the Goofy Hat.

Hmmmm, all good choices, but how about this one?

How was everyone's weekend? Still a few hours left!

I just thought of a fun activity. I need to go write some sumif statements for work..... w00t!

Marita - Sumif statements???

Working on a Sunday doesn't sound like much fun.

bbn - Cap'n Jack scrubs??! Were you wearing your jammies to work ;)

..we're still..busy, :scared:

...if your asking me?..faith is what a person feels....in their
hearts..plain & simple.

....what a nice reflection, javam. [ to me, whatever others "believes"
is a matter of choice. iam just so impress..."how" all the important things
in life, were covered in the bible. i just feel..someone cared about us, alot,
to share such inspirational & wonderful insights.]

death & dying..are 2 different things. from the day we're born... i think
we're heading toward death. & since "time" isn't forever, then how we spend
it...determine...our quality of life...+ to life. [ this is where i'm @ today ].

teachers? a good..one is worth more then her wt. in gold. society
has educational goals, placing the heaviest burdens on them,
but with very lil'support. so what we are depending on, is their
personal dedication.

.. i didn't read the religion thingy..but if you ever seen,"one who's
flew..over the" ?....well- everyone made fun of the nurse. but if you
evualted her skills/dedication...she was exceptional + gifted. * unfo,
she made..one mistake, that undid everything. she was deciding
what was right..for the "guys", instead of letting them decide.

ever noiticed..alot of those we elect...make the same mistake?

no one can really control others. but one can influence. & the
most effective..ones, are those...showing positive gains.

why seek insights?...making it work. here is an example. (general speaking),

....we had a person drug seeking. he didn't desire what was best.
i was the charge person so i had the privilege of redirecting when
he was abusing the med nurses. what were the chances ...he was
going to accept....my intervention? of course, i 'm not seeking
approval, rather...the person's best interest.

reality is a psych. nurse's best tool.. *& what we see
..quite frequently..drug seekers.."threatens staff for drugs". & that
was the rebuttle. he tried to defend himself.."i didn't threaten you."
no??! when you exclaimed..."get my hands out of your face!..., &
...i was 6 feet away? so in reality, you're trying to "set it up",
that if we don't get the drugs...you want....then you going to
used "that excuse"..to attack staff....see?..that won't work with us,
as....we know exaclty what your intentions are by your behaviors.
check~checkmate. the end. later he came & apoloized.

the objective was:
he maintained self control & stopped the abuse. i can't say how
important..it is to "id" the warning signs..of anyone "thinking"
of hurting you...& to take prevntative actions. :flower3:

..last night..he came...to me, hey dan....the guy back there...
is getting on your staff....you better go..., think about, it.

new patients.....i include..an additional...orientation. "we" are here,
....to support your needs, so you need to let us know what you
want. there are only 2 limitations...the first, it must be within
our authority, and second...the request must be in your best
interest.as we can not do something you want, if we know it will
result in harm to your well being.

has anyone..seen..the first sign ..of spring? :flower1:

Marita - Sumif statements???

Working on a Sunday doesn't sound like much fun.

I'S NOT! But people were not around to entertain me. So I did what needed doing anyway. Still have more to do, but I think I that I will save that for tomorrow.

I read MTK's new update (funny) and a couple of other ones. And a long threat about Disney guaranteeing coonecting rooms or views. Just took my shower.

DH make Cheese Noodle casserole with stewed tomatoes, so I think I will eat some of that and take a short nap.

Talked to my mom today, she seems to be doing ok. So that is good. I did not mention anything about maybe coming in May, I need to discuss that with my brother first.

The boss wants Asst #2 to do the forecast next week, and all the explanations, to give her experience. That should be nice and stressful for me. :scared: You can bet I will be doing concurrent work, plus I have to answer numerous questions. YAY ME! :crazy2:

..well if we can't find..."spring"....or signs.....maybe nabby g.
could post some of her disney cruise pictures?

:beach:

..my wife...framed the drawings..the boys won during the pc cruise.

pretty, darn good...neato~:thumbsup2

dcl...has dropped their requests..for alaska, rats. however, that
makes..our alternative more desirable. taking my lil'cutie..back
where..i used to run around, would be such a wonderful experience.

..i never thought..i'll be old,

here's the some of the garmisch tours..we hope to do, munich~
the royal court brewery, hofbrauhaus, founded 1268. [ i'm
thristy for ..more....:p

..innsbruck, in austria. & mittenwald, germany.

neuschwanstein castle & the weis church.

the linderof castle. gadets. like a dining room table which could be raised
to the bed chamber through a trap -door from the kitchen below.

gotta love..german imagineering, backie? pixiedust:

...& maybe..even to visit.."partnach gorge". wonder..if anything..like
royal gorge or garden of the gods, colorado? almost,

Lil G, tour of Germany? Those are some great places. I didnt make to the Hoefbrauhaus, but DH and the kids did. From the pictorial evidence, DH got quite loaded!:lmao:

No more snow here just very cold!

Just busy doing family stuff on the weekend. We played glow in the dark mini golf yesterday and got a bunch of movies to watch last night.

Today went by fast too since we went to church and then out afterward.

Came to see if Sandy made though the wedding ok. Hope she posts some pics. I remember her saying the colours were navy and yellow.

Steph-- glad you got to spend time remembering your MIL how she used to be.

twinks -
I feel so sorry for poor grandmotherly Brenda.
only she/he is only 38, so should be reasonably capable of clicking the right button.

marita - my camera came with a little plug that connects it to a usb port.
When I lost mine, I was able to replace it at big lots.

I think I have a date from eharmony.
we'll see!

(no, it's not brenda! )

Yaknow they say we're a little mixed up down here, but that's REAL mixed up. ::yes:: How is he/she a grandma at 38? I'm 40 and no where close to being a grandma. :sad2: I think someone filled it out for her/him. ::yes::

Hope you find somebody just right for you CEL! Shhh :ssst: , I might be coming to Nashvegas for the CMM. I would do the Half Marathon not the full. Haven't registered or found a hotel, just thinking about it right now. :scratchin Would you come cheer for me? :cheer2: I've got to convince DH to let me come by myself. I want to meet up with other WISHers, and he would be totally bored with that. :faint: I'll let you know if I decide too. Oh, and Celmama would be welcome to come too.

No word from Sandy here.

But the Brenda story reminded me. Asst #2 got inspired to try dating again when Knitfreak found her man. She (asst #2) is 36 and nice looking, but with a a 12 yr old daughter. So she hooked a fish (on plenty of fish) and had a date last weekend to meet at the Orlando Science Center. She went inside to the lobby, no guy! He later pm'd her, he said he drove around and didnt see her, never went inside. She let that fish off the hook.

PS: She and her mom stayed at All Star a few weeks ago, and met some Brazilian guys and stayed out till 3 am.
Asst. # 2 decided you are as old as you feel and is now 28 again.

BTW, Asst #2 is quickly becoming Asst#1. (Or already is) She is doing fantastic. Knitfreak is preoccupied with her personal life. Not that any of you would care.

Allie - I was also hoping that Sandy would check in soon. Maybe she still has family around to deal with though, plus Ryan.

Marita, I don't know if you're going to hit 8,000 tonight ;) Sounds like you're going to have an interesting time bird-dogging your assistant to make sure she can get through the next forecast :scared:

I know it's good to have other people trained to do your work as a back-up, but it can sometimes be difficult to do the actual training and then to let go so someone else can step in.

Nabbie - It's still awfully cold here too.

Mony - Did you make it back in one piece from your girls' weekend??!

Marita, I don't know if you're going to hit 8,000 tonight ;) Sounds like you're going to have an interesting time bird-dogging your assistant to make sure she can get through the next forecast :scared:

I know, I am stressing a bit about it. Besides, I cant read a dang thing sitting next to someone looking at their computer screen. It will be hard on my nerves. I just want to get things done! It's stressful enough in a normal month. Woe is me!!

I called DS today. He was going to get a haircut, and his card got denied. Now, he has a credit rating of around 800, which is sky high. Probably because he moved from Texas to Alabama, who knows. (Yes, he has money in the bank) And no cash on him. (Dont ask me why). He had another card to use. He said he was busy, and would call back later, but of course he never did today.

Wake up, people!

alli - Sure, I'll come cheer! I helped out a few years ago by handing out water.
Maybe I should do that again. :scratchin

I'm awake!!!

Just slow getting ready for the day. Froze my butt of again taking the kids to school. Suppose to warm up to -8 though. Kids are off on Friday I am sure it will be lovely weather when we don't have to go out in the morning.

Marita-- thought for sure you would hit the 8000 over the weekend. Tonight for sure.

Allie-- That sounds like a great girls weekend right there. And with Celery cheering!

Celery-- Did you pick anyone yet? Did you have a date on the weekend?

Mony-- How was the weekend?

Sandy-- Hope you survived the weekend and you are getting some much needed rest.

Nab - I have a lunch date today, if he doesn't bail on me.
we'll see.

I just officially applied for a position at work.
me and Ben are the only real contenders.
I'm nervous! :scared:

Hope he doesn't bail on you. Good luck!

Would you travel less with this new job you applied for?

Wake up, people!

I'll let you know if I DEFINITELY decide to come. ;)

Good luck with lunch today! :goodvibes (ok, I'm ready for the smilies to go back where they were ::yes:: )
