Thanks, BH. He made it out OK. He called this morning. He left last night and drove for 5 hours, and then found a hotel, which he said was hard. But he foound a room for $100. He was NOT happy with paying $100, he inherited my cheap streak,m LOL
He was north of Ft Worth this morning. He said the trees were barely swaying in the wind. At least he is heading out of the path, another 8 hours driive to Colorado.

I just got back from the grocery store. On my list was boneless, skinless chicken breast, 3 to a pack. But NOOOOO, all they had was HUGE packs for $15, GRRRR. And this was a regular store, not a bulk store, So I got a big pack, guess I will divide it up. Problem is limited space in the freezer.

Plus I went hog wild at Lens Crafters today and got TWO pairs of the cutest glasses ever!

Oh...BbN: There's a new smell of "Very Sexy" at VS (just sayin')

I also had a genuine BIG MAC today. To the tune of 560 calories and 30 grams of fat!!!!!! That is one full hour on the
elliptical contraption'o punishment (worth it!!!)

Do you people know how long it's been since I've had a Big Mac??? YEARS!


P.S. Public Service Announcement: Don't go into the Apple store. They'll suck you in! It's some sort of yuppy cult!!!
I am the proud new owner of the brand spanking new 120 GB iPod Classic for which I also now need some kind of PINK covering on and an armband for the gym. It wasn't boughten at the store but online and will be here either today or Monday. I wanted to see coverings and accessories for my new toy.

we are home.....it was unbelievably so dang hot.......we were just moving to say that we were moving....we dripped on each other walking.....no reservations to be found ANYPLACE.....we had one at crystal palace.....but that was it.....we tried to make some when we booked and cp was the only one available....we still ate and had fun......

Thanks Marita....Im sure this was a welcome phone call for you....Ive been out all afternoon and evening...a friend is getting Married next weekend so we threw a Bachelor Party...I just got in an really ready for some sleep...I didnt think we would be out this late.

Finally home. I was at my mom's house yesterday and left quickly this morning to get ahead of the storm front that was leftover from Ike.

Yes we did all be have...it was fairly tame ...we all meet up at Hooters sports bar ....all the girls got the groom up and sang a song for him about getting married....they said dont do it...LOL We did drink alittle too much and have know each other since college.
