Mommy P-- your have a home made swimming pool there. Does all that water attract the mosquitos? I bet the boys want to play in it especially since the swing set is sitting in the middle.

BH-- that is so sad. Hope they find the papers. We have ours in order.

We let them play last week while it was still raining. (it rained non-stop from Tuesday-Friday). But Saturday the sun came back out and so we said no more water.

Attract mosquitos? We're breeding them at this moment. You can actually see them swarming outside.

Isaac had small pieces of banana and french toast for dinner. He sat in his new high chair in the kitchen with me while I cooked. He was so cote chewing up his food with his two little teeth,

I almost cried today, he no longer has breastfed baby poop. I'm not ready for him to grow up.

Chad's at school tonight. He goes straight to school from work so the boys don't even get to see him until tomorrow night.

Goog evening! I was feeling a bit under the weather today, so I took a vacation day. And spent part of it playing ScrabbleBlast That game is kinda addictive . . .

Lex, we missed you yesterday! Mari's interview is actually for a job in Pennsylvania

She is working on her interview presentation tonight. As part of her interview, she has to make a 20 presentation on a topic they provided. Yikes. I am assisting a bit with my Powerpointing skills. Which basically consist of taking a canned presentation and modifying it appropriately.

Good evening, everyone. It's First Day of School Eve here in the Lalijack household. Boris and Natasha visited their school earlier this evening. They got the chance to see who their classmates are, and check out the lay of the land in their new classrooms. Then we came home and got snacks and lunches ready for tomorrow. We've got their brand new backpacks packed with pencils, folders, and all the other trappings necessary for a brand new school year. They picked out their clothes for tomorrow, and went to bed early. Waaaaaah! I'm not ready for them to go back to school!

First day of school writer's cramp after filling out 2 back-packs full of papers.

All went well. The boys' teachers both seem OK. Hard to top last year's man teacher who was a Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Star Trek fan who decorated his classroom in a Sci-Fi theme. My inner geek loved it.

As much as I loved the peas'n'quiet, I did miss the heck out of them!

Kindly quiet here. I had a volunteer opp last night right after work at the church. It was a college ministry event since UK is starting back this week.

Tonight: Cub Scouts. The den leader mom and I were sweating it out on the phone last night. Neither of us know anything about scouts. We'll manage I guess. The boys are only in 2nd grade so what to they know? Right?

Anybody got any good ice breaker games for scouts?? Anybody?

Have been staying up late and getting up late. I will soon have to do what I am doing with the kids and going to bed early to so I don't sleep so late. Next week is going to be hard for me too.

We have everything we need for school now so we are just enjoying the rest of our holidays. Not sure what is on the agenda today, we just go with the flow. Other then baseball tonight that is.

Well, I finally finished Breaking Dawn tonight. Definitely the best book of the series. I had trouble making it through #2.

You should read the host! More like breaking dawn than the rest.
Breaking dawn was my favorite twilight book, but I like the host even more.

My DD got a crock pot on loan from her BF's mom. I said something about returning it this weekend (she is going to see him this weekend after a month).
SHe said, no, it's on permanent loan until we break up, IF we break up

She said it was her BF's while he was at college in town. Apparently he is a good cook, too! On top of being being tall, blond and handsome, a summa cum laude graduate and going to become a lawyer, Well, not sure how I feel about that, (NOWT) and I like his family. But they are 2 hours apart now for the next couple of years, so heaven knows how that will go, long distance affair.

YES! Thank You! Today is a celebration of my Norahnomorah's birth!

She wanted Chinese food for her birthday dinner (OY!). We ended up at a Chinese Buffet where she discovered she loves California Rolls (sushi-ish)

Took her to our gym and she got her "membership card" with her picture on it. She acted like I did with my first VISA.

She has trial classes for jazz, ballet, and tap. As well as "tumbling" lined up. I REALLY don't want to start if she's not going to actually move. Something tells me she'll want to be center stage.

Good Morning everyone.....Its looked like rain here for 2 days an we havnt got a drop...my lawn is brown with a few patches of green....oh well I wont have to mow again if it keeps this up...something tells me everyone should go buy gas today....Gustov is a few days away but they are already talking about raising gas prices.
