You guys are always there in my thoughts.......and the comfort from your prayers and good thoughts ....thank you all......

sooooooo the rug rats here went back to school TODAY........listen.....do you hear anything here in Maine.....NOPE.....I am still in my jammies and finished my coffee.......I love the stillness of the day.....Megara is sleeping next to me on the floor.......I really should do something......probably get the clothes cleaned and ironed that I will take with us on our trip......we go a week from this Saturday..

Count me in on the prayers for the baby Pumba.

Sorry I missed Norah's birthday. Belated birthing wishes to you Wendy!!!

I was helping other people birth yesterday. And I got puked on. Not by a baby, but by a mommy. She was a fresh post op c/s and apparently anesthesia and this mommy's tummy (maybe it was a rumblytumbly tummy?) didn't mix. Ugh. Oh well, that's why we keep extra scrubs around. Plus, I felt so bad for her. She was embarrassed and I had to help change her gown and sheets and blankets and pillow cases and whelp, nothing says I'm a dedicated bbn like cleaning up vomit I guess.

Heya Moovers!

Happy belated b-day to Norah, and birthing day to you, Wendell.

BBN, thanks for the lovely lunchtime story. I guess yesterday was happy beurk day for you. Heh.

Pumba, I'll kick my prayers into high gear for Brielle.

Boris and Natasha had a lovely first day of school. They even had homework! :sad2: Nothing like jumping in with both feet, eh? I spent from 3:45 to 7:30 last night filling out paperwork and signing this and that for the school. Ugh. Can I please have summer back?

Where IS everybody?

The GOAT is still next door chained/roped to my neighbor's trampoline.
Poor (but MEAN) billy goat. It's actually dragging around the full-sized trampoline as it seeks weeds to munch . It's all tangled up from being roped, so he's stuck. Animal Control was discreetly called from my house yesterdee, and still we have goat angst. Bahhhhhhhhh!. (that's my nanny-goat call)

Pumba, more prayers for the baby!

People are supposed to be posting MORE when the kids are back in school, not less. What the heck????

Mony vacation weather report: HOT!

You may or may not have heard about a missing child story here in town. Supposedly it is a national story.
Anyway, this young mothers (23) little 3 yr. old girl (Caylee Anthony) was reported missing about a month after she was actually missing. The mother told lie after lie to the police. Like where she left the child (with a babysitter that knew nothing about it at an apartment that had been unoccupied). And she refused to cooperate with the police. Her bail was set for $500.000. The parents were able to raise it, so she said in jail for over a month, still not saying anything but lies.
Finally, some bail bondsman put up the $50,000 to get her out, in hopes to get her to talk to find the girl. Today he said she has said nothing, and he regrets getting her out.
Anyway, they found stench in the trunk of her car, which was claimed was pizza gone bad.
Today, preliminary results came back from a lab that whatever they found in the trunk was evidence of a decomposing body....
Also new today, apparently the mother did not want the baby, but her mother forced her to keep it. All very sad. It is a big media circus all around this in town, for well over a month now.
AND my daughter went to HS with the mother! And the mother dated one of my daughers's best friends for a while
Such a cute little girl (the 3 yr old), things are NOT looking good!

I always watched Greta Sus whatever show....she is on CNN news I think.well I watched all the going ons and interviews with the grandparents and it made me so sad to think that this poor child was no where to be found....I almost wish that someone sold her on the black mkt to another couple..then to think someone hurt her..will keep that poor baby in our prayers too

Hi everyone...I got the call today that Mr Murry passed away and the funeral is Friday. Thanks for all your prayers.... he is now at peace.

What! No Lexi morning post again!? :confused3 We miss you and hope you just slept in late again!!!

Lynette - Glad the kiddos had a good start to school!

Pumba - Thanks for updating us on Brielle :grouphug: Hope things turn around quickly so she can get the transplant.

Marita - I haven't followed that story as I haven't been watching much news this summer. Things like that always make you wonder how and why things go so wrong with some people :sad2:

BH - Sorry to hear about your friend's passing

Wendee - A goat in your neighborhood???!! Did it escape from Sunnybrook Farm? Poor thing having to drag a trampoline around in order to find some grass to eat :lmao:

Well, my hubby heard from our DD once she made it to her destination for her interview tomorrow. Please send positive thoughts and pixiedust: at 1:00 tomorrow!

Oops, I forgot to send kudos to buerkbegonenursey! ACK! I'm sure that mama really appreciated you today :)

BH, so sorry about Mr. Murray!

I hope they finally find the insurance papers at least.

Moo, Pixue D ust to Mari!pixiedust:

Where is LilG anyway, he cant still be on the cruise :confused3

We got a couple of phone messages from our motgage company. Call us to collect debt, they said. Huh? Hubby tried to make me call them a couple of days ago, but the dang phone tree frustred me so much, I gave up.

Anyway, it seems that DH paid 2 mortgage payments, and that REALLY confused them! They had us down for not paying anything :scared1:

Hopefully DH got it all straightened out yesterday. They didnt even send us a bill for last month (but we were paid up). Better keep a sharp eye out for credit reports. but the told DH that nothing went to them yet. But I don't trust them!!!

FYI, I happen to know of a lovely family who takes in stray goats. They're in Mamacantfindya, IN. PM me if you want the address. Heh.

Oh, Marita, I was riveted by that story when we were at WDW last month! That poor little girl! I said right from the beginning that the mother must have done something to her.

Yes, I think so too!

BHound - So sorry to hear about Mr. Murry. We'll pray for his family and friends who are left behind. :grouphug:

BBN
- So sorry to hear about your beurking mama yesterdee.....YUCKY!!!!!

Wendy
- A GOAT?!! Next door?! Tied to a trampoline?! They would be kicked out of our neighborhood. :snooty: (<-that's the way some of our HOA rule keepers are ;) ) Our HOA has rules about not having wild animals, and a goat would qualify. :rolleyes1

Moo - Bucket loads of pixiedust: being sent your DD's way. pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: Is that 1:00 Central or Eastern?

Mony
- Hope the Mony family has had a FAB time down in MouseTown. :goodvibes

Marita
- That story was the talk of the neighborhood mama's this morning. I hadn't watched the news, so I knew nothing about it either. :confused3 I think your hunch seems to be the consensus of the AL Mama walking group. :sad2:

Melinda - We miss you and your morning posts!

MommyP
- Those are cute! Are they all for you, or are you selling some of them? Also, are the front carriers or back? I just need a visual to know how they are worn, so that I can truly appreciate your talent. I promise I am not trying to be an smart astarstar, just trying to visualize. :3dglasses

Pumba - I hope things improve for baby Brielle so she can get her transplant. Still sending prayers your way.

Oops! Forgot to say to Hound that of course I am praying for Mr. Murry's family, and that his soul is now at peace.

And Pumba, still praying for Brielle.

Oh, and Melinda, I hope things are happy busy and not stress-y busy for you right now! Your morning posts are missed!

And, last but not least, Moo: good vibes and prayers for Mari's interview!

I think that's all I've got for now.

Allie, I asked DD tonight if her friend (male who dated the girl) could be the father (as that is in doubt too, as to who the fathe is. But she said no, that was like 6 or 7 years ago. WHEW!

Poor little girl, though.

Thanks all for the good wishes for my daughter tomorrow!

Her interview is at 1:00 Eastern, Allie.

I really wanted to call her tonight to see if she finished up her Powerpoint presentation, but I'm sure she would not have appreciated me asking. She had a really good start on it last night though and just needed to do a summary and rehearse it to make sure it was around 20 minutes long and then print out copies. I told her that the rule of thumb is one minute per slide and not to pause in the middle to ask if the interview committee has questions -- just hold them until the end so she doesn't get off track.

MommyP - Those colors look great! Did you work on Twink's yet?

Just quoting this for anyone who may have missed it. ;)
