Nabbie - I hope you and your family have a fun trip!!!!!!! You sure are getting a lot of use out of the trailer this summer :)

Mony - Nice start to your trippie :woohoo:

The Dis is acting up tonight Moo...I almost double posted too.

Yes we are getting a lot of use this year. We are going back to the 1000 islands first and going to the Bolton castle that I couldn't go to a few weeks ago. Then crossing the border there.

The kids are pretty excited. Hannah is really excited grandma has been here all day.

HI MOOoovers - hope you havent forgotten me!

I read in the mornings -

Weather is tornadic here -

Wedding drama over the top - had to renegotiate the hotel contract and try to convince the family (lovingly we are hillbillies) that spending $160 on a 2 bedroom suite is a GREAT deal! Free breakfast, free social hour food and drinks, + free shuttle to wedding and reception and back to hotel... in the parking lot area is a STEAK N SHAKE (that helped!) downsized? 2 bedroom suite means 2 beds - 1 pullout! (but y ou get a living room, its like a DVC 1 bedroom - but there are 2 bedrooms, so you get 2 beds 1 pullout, fullsize fridge, stove, table...) *sigh

we havent eaten dinner... all the details..

OH I got a postcard pin code :cool1: of course it was in my mom's name! :sad2: but it was addressed to THIS HOUSEHOLD = $400 savings!! :cool1:

gotta go make the cesar salad, chicken should be done!!

:cheer2: :grouphug: pirate: :dance3: :yay:  :wizard:

Man, exacty what does one have to do to get one of this pin codes?? Would contacting my congressman help?!! Of dear, what was I thinking, they have much more imprtatn bickering to take care of, silly me.

Maybe there is a pin code dance I could do?!! Something like the hokey pokey only with a hula hoop??

Please post video. :goodvibes

Sandy, please don't send your weather across the lake :scared1:

I haven't had a decent pin code in ages either, Steph. I'm hoping for a better rate through my AP than what I currently have for December.

I have a book that needs reading.

I am beat. The basement is swept, mopped, and clear of EVERYTHING except for my desk. I ran out of room on the non carpet side to put it.

Boy am I strong! I can't believe the things I moved.pirate:

Hopefully the carpet guys will be able to work around my desk and move it when they need to.

Afterall, they are friends and they know my husband can't move anything heavy like that yet.

Back to my book!

first pin code EVER - and it came to my mom - my maiden name... of course we're celebrating our 27th anniversary :sad2: but, it had our home address..

so.. its been over 3 years since mom and dad came to WDW - and I booked everything! with my addy!! and I've been checking our email everyday - as well as the resort code board!! I feel lucky that we got a post card + we could use it!! :worship:

Which book Mony??? DD is determined to stay up all night to read book #2 in this Twilight series, I'm thinking I should read it - but if our neighbor (the High School English teacher is reading it - why should i "suffer")

Oh, so the family drama, the expensive hotel - well I sent out an email lauding the points of teh $$$ hotel - free hot breakfast - free social hour (drinks and appy/food!) + free shuttle to wedding - reception - hotel - FREE!! and I added the Steak and shake, AND its a sound proof room - ie Ohare airport is within blocks of this hotel - so you could count numerous flights but could here NONE - and I added that (other hotels, you could here noises)

my aunt (DS godmother) responded... :rotfl2: I had to laugh. do other families have to worry about sound proof rooms? LOL

we are also a family known to "kidnap" (ie cheer up) during funerals - family to sit and laugh - and the sound proof comment came with my aunts sons wedding - we were asked by security to "cease" (complaints from guests) and well... :rotfl2:  families....

DS is driving tonight to AZ - straight thru, with 2 friends.. God be with them.. :wizard:

Hey Moovers,
Got back from NashVegass late last night; went and played with the nephew. He's not quite 9 months and has already said his first word. Not mama or dada, he says cat every time the cat comes by, every time he watches his favorite youtube video, dancing cat, and whenever a cat comes on tv.
We thought he was big at 19 pounds, but a young family came in the ice cream shop with a 9 month old that was huge, maybe 30 pounds. Glancy started waving as soon as he sow him. They ended up on the floor patting each other and giggling.
Lexi- betcha your cousin would know me on sight. Didja ask him if he knows the Big Guy? Most WKU fans would know me by that. Cool about the room. Here's a pic of my buddy Miss Martha's Red Room.

Dollywood changed in 15 years? You betcha. Something happened a few years ago that changed Dollywood forever: the idiots that run Gaylord Entertainment decided to close Opryland to build a mall! Dolly jumped all over it and doubled their attendance and have grown from there. BTW, the Wall Street Journal called the closing of Opryland the second dumbest corporate decision in American history. Number one was New Coke.
Gotta go to work, later.

Sandy that hotel sounds nice, I'll come.

My book of choice is Breaking Dawn. I loved the Twilight series books. I read the first 3 twice. BTW, you wouldn't suffer through them at all. Lots of moms love these books.

I get my EMG test done today, Joy! Needles, yuck.

And my physical therapy starts today as well.

Have a great day!

I'm heading out the door...suppose have been gone at 8:00....:lmao:

It is very hot and humid today with rain coming, hope I out run the rain.

Donald -- thats for the info on Dollywood.

Hope the campsites have wireless so I can check in....

Bye....

Hi all. Just a quick check in to let you know I'm alive. I'm busy with school and sewing. I'm making a ring sling, 2 hooter hiders(one for my sister for her birthday), fleece soakers with matching t-shirts, and lots of burp cloths and wipes and fitted diapers. Wait until you see this flannel I found at joann's. It's SO flipping cute!

{{hugs}} and prayers Mony - your post sound upbeat, and nervous -

You too!

Hello there little fellers and fellerettes!
Hows everyone doing?

I stalked you over the Lovestoscrap Breaking Dawn thread - I'm probably a horrible mother, letting dd read the series (she finished book 2 - got it at 8pm lsat night - I'm not sure how long she stayed up, but she finished it by 9am!) I do know that books have opened discussions for dd and me (or is it I?) There are rough roads ahead for her and me (its me here! and the rough road ahead may be for just me!!) at least we have communication!

MommyP you and Wendy are so talented, and find the cutest fabrics!

Nab hope all goes well!!

The rains stayed south of us - called SIL in Indy - they were getting hit pretty hard with storms!

what a day!

sandy - the whether or not to read it thread is one I probably shouldn't put my two cents in on, but I can't resist!
I told my friend Karen pretty much the same thing (before I read the last one) - that they were planning on waiting til marriage and there was a lot of violence, so she had to make the best decision for her daughter.
