Sandy - Soundproofed rooms for your family, eh?!!! I don't have to imagine how loud the air traffic is near O'Hare because I've experienced it first-hand Plus the plane fuel exhaust is pretty bad in some areas too.

Good Morning! Good Morning! I hope you all slept well. Cause I sure did not.

Baby waking up every hour and a half. Harumph!

That's ok, cause I get to go to physical therapy (PT) and get taken care of. Needless to say, I loved PT. I get the girl today, I hope she's as gentle as the boy was.


I did not get to have my EMG yesterday. When I showed up, not before or even the day before, they told me I missed my apt. that it was Monday.

The girl said, Tuesday when we made my apt. Ever since I left that office I had tuesday on my mind. Should have looked at the card, but I didn't have to. Lesson learned to always look at the card.

So, I'm having it today instead.

I bought a bottle of Glucosamine for joint mobility, with all the jogging I'm doing I hope it helps. It says it promotes mobility and comfort. Well that's what I need.


Especially since no has offered to prescribe me anything, I'll try this route.

I won tickets to a concert today on my way home. All I heard was if you like 80's call in to win, so I tried and I did!

Only problem is it's the day before we leave for disney. Go figure.

I picked up Tim's films for his upcoming apts next week with the new Dr.s Inside his bone scan films was a report, so I read it.

DATED JUNE 10TH

This complete write up about a lesion found on his 8th lower rib approx. 1 cm and HIGHLY concern of Metastases (that's when cancer spreads)

This just angered me to the nth level. I glad we know now what is going on, but to be told by the Urologist that nothing showed up on the bone scan, is inexcusable when it's there in black and white.

I'm gonna be stewing for a couple of days over this. Sorry if I get on your nerves.

Marita - You should be getting back tonight. How didya like Alabama? How was the graduation? Didya cry? I'm sure DS was handsome.

I got a PIN code in an email last week. Wish I could use it. I'm trying to plan a trip to NYC for Fall Break, but the airfare is . Maybe I should just call and see what Disney has to say?

Oh, and I got the kids off on their appropriate buses today. I can't wait to ask DS how his first day of high school was. I was nervous for him, but didn't tell him. We have so many kids here that they can't go to high school until 10th grade. Although, our high school has been ranked very high in many publications, so I guess it is worth the wait. He'll be getting a goog education.

Of course, they don't tell them what school supplies they need until the first day of school. Guess I'll be running to THE WalMart or Staples before church tonight.

Cel - Did Breadman come to H'ville for a visit? Is he gonna work here?

MommyP - That is too cute to be burped on. Goog job!

Moo - My son came home from his Mission Trip in IN talking about this store called Meijer. He was very impressed, and that's saying alot coming from a teenage boy. I think their host family let them go pick out some goodies to munch on.

BBN - My son also LOVED Ky Kingdom. They always get to do something fun after their Mission Trip. So that was their "fun" activity. Hope DH had a marvelous birthday.

Hi everybody! I saw all the welcome backs and the comments that it was awfully quiet considering I was around.

The trip was great. The dvd player, or the "magic box" as we called it,
was worth every penny. We loved the beach.... andwe had so much fun with family and friends. My in-laws threw a cookout at their farm and we invited a bunch of friends from our newlywed days. It was so fun to catch up.

Now we are in count down till the most wonderful day of the year. I have singlehandedly kept the economy going as we traveled, bought school supplies, clothes and shoes.

One twin had a growth spurt and the other did not.... that means that one girl needs all new shoes and clothes while the other has a million shoes and closet full of clothes.

Grasshopper cut another tooth this wee and climbs stairs as well. I have lots of stairs. And no babygates.

MommyP-that burp cloth is too cute! Is it too late for me to get into the baby wearing thing? Gabe is 8 months and almost cruising.
Allie- Welcome back! How was the first day of school?
Marita- We need gradiajation pix!

Moo-I think you will enjoy having your DD home for a while. Any news on her job front?
Lexy- So sorry I didn't get to meet you.... but I am 99.5% certain I will be driving back next summer.

I got wireless tonight.

Bad news is I didn't get to see my Bolt Castle and I am steaming.

We made reservations on line and they told us to pay at the ticket booth. We go there pay , Hubby thought it was funny it was more but didn't say anything. Now we know why........She sent us on the wrong cruise. It was a 2 hour tour of the whole islands. The kids were done by 40 minutes. So I go ask and the guy tells me we don't go to the castle just around it. It was suppose to be 25 minutes to the castle. It was nice to see all the expensive homes but I was mad myself. They won't refund our money but can pay for two tomorrow morning out of the 5 of us. We are leaving the area tomorrow and to only pay for 2 isn't good enough, it wasn't our mistake so we have to call the head office tomorrow, we left with nothing.

Heading to Lake Placid tomorrow for few days.....

allie - Nope, no word on the Huntsville job yet. They're going through the whole company to see if anyone is willing to transfer then they'll look for local applicants. he'll only get it if they go through all those and still can't find someone.

guess what ......it rained AGAIN........and we are slowly molding away.....hahaha......

today our neighbors took us to Margaritas for supper...cause brian helped and fixed their door and then fixed the dryer and then fixed the cellar they were having some issues........they are good people and brian likes to help out....

so they took us out to eat
I had the taco bowl and extra green stuff....hubby had the tio super burrito.....as did her husband ........sonia had something strange and rug rat had nino burritos.......we had three baskets of nacho chips and extra hot salsa......burnt my gutt


anyways.....we are ready for ANY GOOD WEATHER anyone wants to give us

MommyP-that burp cloth is too cute! Is it too late for me to get into the baby wearing thing? Gabe is 8 months and almost cruising.

It's never too late to start babywearing. It is so convenient for going out, especially grocery shopping when you have another little one to put in the front seat of the cart. It is also very nice for WDW! At his age I would recommend either a ring sling or mei tai. I'm not too thrilled with wearing him on my back in the mei tai. The straps make my fat defined. Which is NOT cool. I usually wear him on my front which is super comfy. I also LOVE ring slings. I think I am mostly a ring sling girl at heart. I'm in the process of making a hybrid pouch ring sling. Just waiting for my rings. I have another length of the fabric that can only be made into a pouch hybrid ring sling, if you're interested. Just let me know. I can whip it up in no time.

Isaac just got his first tooth 2 days ago.

Mony! I learned when my mom was ill that it always pays to get copies of the reports to read for yourself. It's pretty easy to just go to the medical records department and request copies without having to go through your doc. Sorry you felt like a pin cushion today. Keep us posted, please, on how things go

Nabbie - Sorry about your disappointing tour Hope the rest of the trip goes better!

Pumba - Our weather is nothing to brag about or share this week . . .

Twink!!! Your post made me think of the Staples commercial! So far as I know, no job luck for my DD. But we haven't heard from her for over a week.

Allie - I do like Meijer for one-stop shopping. Their produce is a lot fresher than that at THE Wal-Mart. I always enjoy visiting other supermarket chains when we travel. Like the Harris Teeter down in NC. I was all about the name!
