I am now one drama queen lighter. Dropped off Emily at church just now to get on the church van for camp. I really will miss her but she'll have fun.

NAB....Look at you posting so late! How's your summer so far? Busy?

Moo....Your cousin's restaurant sounds yummy. Is it in a tourist area?

Sandy.....Kids can smell ribs a mile away. I loooove ribs. Mimi just told me this week that she's going vegan while her boyfriend is out of town. (She's already vegetarian.) Which is hard for me. So last night we had stir-fry with tofu. It wasn't bad.

Marita.....I don't want to use a mouse cuz I want to lay in bed AND use the computer. Heh. I updated Windows Media Player so now I can watch the netflix instant movies in bed on the laptop.

No, this is a different cat. Emily/Stinky was banned from the property after she atacked Tornado and acted like she was plotting to displace him and take over his territory. We decided to get Tornado a REAL kitty friend after that, since he seemed open toward accepting another cat. We got a cute little girl kitty that is part tiger, part white, and about six months old. Her name is Crystal but we call her "Tiny Little Kitty" a lot of the time because she's so little compared to 14 pound Tornado. She's been to the Vet's to be spayed and hasn't had the stitches out yet, so I'm being extra protective of her. I don't want her running off and getting lost or hurt, so we only let her outside for a little while, under supervision. Even indoors, I have to keep an eye on her. She likes to drink out of the toilets, given a chance, and a couple weeks ago she crawled into a heat run that didn't have a cover on it. I had visions of cutting our ductwork apart to get her out! She is VERY active!

May I just say GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR? The budget system seems to be down, on the one weekend I need it most! Just got off with IT, who opened a trouble ticket. So I'll have to see what happens. Now I am waiting for a phone call from them, which means I can't go take a shower until I hear from them. Just have to do what I can without the system for now.

Kay, PLEASE come and raid my garage and take as much stuff away as you can. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!

SUNDAY MORNIN!

Ok, I have to run a Half Marathon Aug 10 - about a month or more ago I went out for a 2 mile run with fdil - and had a severe panic attack - - at the time I thought I was having a heart attack and was going to die... ok so I was a bit dramatic - but it was awful!! Couldnt catch my breath, my heart was racing - and I hadnt even gone a mile!!

Now I have to take the dogs out - and I thought i was doing a mile a day...

so I did a run w/o the dogs - 35 min and I only went 2.3 miles - it felt like a serious 3 miler!! I went slow and steady - really slow... no panic!

Marita glad you heated the stew!!

Lexi I hope my dd doesnt try the vegan or vegatarian thing!! At least yesterday she tried sweet and sour chicken for the first time!!

Kay awww that sounds cute.... and scary!! well definately entertaining!! I think instead of aspiring to do the World's Longest Garage Sale I should think we should hit a few garages/b asements!!

Moo what city is your cousins restaurant in?? I miss WinSchulers!! (sp??) DH took me there when we first started dating - a real froo foo restaurant!! We dressed to the "nines" for high schoolers anyway!!

My DS went Vegetarian a good 12 or years ago for a couple of years. To his day I cannot stand spaghetti again. Spaghetti OVERLOAD!

Just got an email from DD, on her second to last day in Germany, after a great trip with her BF and famiily and less that great visit with my mom.

For reference "Omi" is my mom (she is 94, and likely last ever visit with her). Dieter is my brothr, and Peter is my nephew. And I have NO clue what thos 1000 year old ruins are just next to the town I grew up in

I am in Düsseldorf now....I arrived this morning, dropped my suitcase off, and headed for Holland. I went to Eindhoven, Holland. Suprisingly, everything was open regardless of it being Sunday. Eindhoven was alright, nothing too exciting. I bought Dan a Netherlands jearsey and that was about it. I ate 4 brötchens today.
Peter took me out last night with his friend Martin and showed me some more of Dortmund - they took me to an overlook of the city that also housed ruins that were 1,000 years old, pretty cool, huh? I said goodbye to Dieter yesterday aslo, he gave me 100E, I was shocked, but very thankful, as it helped me pay for my hotel for the next 2 nights.
I cried like a baby when I had to say good bye to Omi

Moo...we didn't end up going to a movie. We ended up ditching that idea for the pool/hot tub instead. Downtown Disney has been so crowded lately so we opted for the less crowded pool.

Marita doesnt the IT guy know you are waiting for him? That show is so funny - I think "regular" food to be gross (green peppers, liver n onions, ) so I think he's just cartoonish, no really - unless there are eyeballs involved!!

It is a nice warm summer day.....and we spent it in the mall.

They have some great sales going on. I bought myself two sundresses for less then the price of one.... I have a wedding to go to in August and now I will have a choice that day what to wear. Now to find shoes....

Lexi-- if you just ate veggies you would fade to nothing your so small now.

Summer has been busy with swimming lessons, baseball and practices and the kids friends coming and going all the time. My house seems to be the place to be.... There are three extra kids here as we speak.

Marita-- glad your dd is coming home , I sure you guys are missing her too. I am sure she will remember this trip and have great memories. Yuck on that gross food.

Sandy-- suppose to be hot here on Tuesday. Has to hit you first....

Kay-- that is one busy kitten. Buddy is our bug eating cat. He love to get the spiders and flies. Hubby went to get the fly swatter and before he got it Buddy had it and ate it. He is constantly looking up at the ceiling for spiders it is too funny.

Hi all,
Just back from Goofy's campout and am seriously tired. I pooped out about 11(10 my time) and slept about 6 hours. Then we sat around talking till it was down to 4 of us. One is on the boards here under the name McRed. He hangs out on the camping board.
I didn't drink much, but Goof was smoking a nasty cheap cigar right next to me and I got a terrible headache. Probably why I faded so fast. Woke up feeling great though. Cel, Jeannie, Anthony and Quentin were there. I worry about what they'll end up like, though, being raised by Mike. Pm if you have questions.
We've picked a hotel for our trip to DLR, the Cortona, a Tuscan looking 2 and 1/2 star hotel about 2 blocks away. Close enough to walk, but a shuttle is available. Now all we need are tickets. Any chance the Utes will be at DLR on the 25th?
I am in complete need of a goog scrubbing, so I guess I'll go clean up. See y'all.

Lex, hope Emily has a great time at camp I think all kids should have the opportunity to experience summer camp. My nephew is working as a camp counselor this summer.

Nabbie, congrats on finding two dresses!!!!!! It is warm here today so I have just been puttering inside, reading, and napping. DH just went out to pick up something for dinner. Does Buddy eat mosqutos too? They sure are thick this year.

Sandy - I wonder if you might have had exercise-induced asthma instead of a panic attack? My nephew ran in from the rain when we were over at my BIL's for my FIL's birthday last Saturday and he sounded terrible and was having a tough time breathing!

It's not really in a resort area, but he is doing well because he has the brew pub on one side and the bistro on the other and serves pub grub and more up-scale food on both sides. Kay, Crystal does sound mischievous! I was pretty protective of the puppies when the had their spay/neuter stitches too.

Last night I tried to work with Jasper to get to to heel and walk on the leash. He was having NONE of it (GRRRR)! I'm so glad that that didn't happen with Sukie. Obedience class was canceled last week due to the storm, so I need to keep practicing with her. TG she is still heeling like a pro!

Lexi, get a wireless mouse for laptop in bed

So I bought new blinds for the living room yesterday, and I swear I measured , but they don't fit. DH took one down (the one the dog and cat wore down), but the new ones are just a tad too short. So I went to dig in the garbage to find the receipt, luckily, it was right near the top of the bag that is going out tomorrow. But just another annoyance. So for now I have the drape that is usually just draped to the side down for privacy.

Never got a word from our friendly IT deparrtment about my prioblem todar

And so far I am way over target for expenses for next yearss budget

Sorry if I wasn't clear. I camped with the family of the kids she went to Disney with last year. She hasn't been in their loves for a while and thought she might be interested to know how they're doing.
I posted on the DL board asking if anyone knew anything about where we're staying and have gotten no responses, and they usually respond quickly to everything. Oh well.
