Hoya mooovers!

Have a good 4th?!!

I have girl scout camp this week for a couple of evenings. We are doing a Firefly Camp, not an overnighter. It should be fun! Let's hope that my co-leader shows up, although I am not going to hold my breath.

So, did I miss anything good?

DTD,you wrote:

Cel, Jeannie, Anthony and Quentin were there. I worry about what they'll end up like, though, being raised by Mike.:scared1: Pm if you have questions.

CEL DID NOT CAMP(Boy you folks got some imagination.)
Sorry if I wasn't clear. I camped with the family of the kids she went to Disney with last year. She hasn't been in their loves for a while and thought she might be interested to know how they're doing.
LOL, I can see how everyone read that wrong! :lmao:

Guess you should have written it: Cel - Jeannie, Anthony and Quentin were there.

My thought was that you might have meant Tammy was there instead of Cel. You know, slip of the fingers since you're tired and all!

Moo, your cousins place sound scrumptious. I would total go there if I lived up there. Tthat warm goat cheese appeals to me at the moment.
It is a great menu, Marita! Goog thing it is a bit of a drive for me. I haven't tried the goat cheese because I'm not a fan, but I did have tried a lot of the menu items. Our waiter last night said the menu will be changing again soon, but I'm sure he'll keep his main items. The bowtie pasta is delish!

Steph, it's been kind of slow around here this weekend. Have a great campout!!!

Hi Steph!

Just reading your update from the trip report. It's been pretty slow this weekend on here. Seems people have lives, or something!!!!!!!!

well, who gave them permission to do that?!!!

I want NAMES!
pirate:

You're right Moo. I just saw how it looked. But the thought of Cel camping, well, strikes me as a little imaginative. Yeah, that's the work I'll carefully choose.

Hello, MOOvers!

I just read back...sounds like it was a pretty slow weekend on the DIS. I survived my back-to-back cookouts. DH was a HUGE help getting things back in order after our guests left, so I am actually getting a bit of time to catch up and check in. I am so happy to end this night with a clean house after all those guests!

Marita, you must be so happy that it's almost time for your DD to come home! Sounds like her trip was an experience she'll treasure!

Melinda, I'm with you....no mouse (wireless or otherwise) for me. I want to be able to lounge while I'm online. You get used to the touchpad. Trust me. (BTW, I PM'd you my email address. Thanks in advance!!)

Hey, everyone else! Hope you enjoyed your weekend!

So I was looking for this ridiculously expensive cream stuff they recommended on the cruise. I bougth the $90 eye cream, which was actuall pretty good, but it did NOT last 8 months! And I did not buy the face cream tey suggested (Combined prce with cruise and CM discount, over $200)
So I went looking tonight, cause I have do something before facing my mom. So this product sounded good:

$158???????? For a stick? You gotta be kidding me. I am not that desparate (yet)!

I was prepared to drop some serious money for a jar of cream or something, but for a stick?????? So I gave up (for now)

OK, I caved! Didn't get the stick, but I did get the eye cream that was good ($99) and some face cream for $124. Yikes! So I just blew $223 on creams. Plus $9 for shipping. Only $20 some more, shipping would be free, but I doubt they have anything in that price range anyway. But I did get to order 4 free samples.

Apparently, they peddle their stuff on cruise lines, they had a "where did you hear about us" list, and it was mostly cruise lines

Elemis.com, if anyone wants to check it out.

I'm off $200K from budget target in Other expenses,( Haha, I don't where to find that money) but fairly close with Labor.
Oh joy, another day in Paradise at Disney tomorrow!
Hope the cafeteria doesn't run ouf of white bread for a grilled cheese sandwich again!

Good night!

Marita, I hope that cream works wonders and makes you a grilled cheese sandwich too!

:cool1:

GOOD MORNING!

It was a gorgeous day yesterday! I went to church, took DS and a buddy to the pool, and then went over to SIL's house to cook out. Gonna be another great day today.

Lynette....Thanks for the pm. Send some shtuff. ;) Get to packin!

Moo.....The restaurant looks good. Your cousin is smart to cover all ends of the food spectrum. If some people think the food's too expensive, they won't go and the same is true visa versa.

Marita....Wendy and I both liked the Arbonne skin care line. I don't think it costs THAT much. ((ETA....Maybe it does.))

DTD & Hound
....Rough weekend? Heh, heh.

Cel....How was the camping trip? :lmao:

Twink
....Hope you're having fun in the sun!

MommyP.....Yo turn.

EVERYBODY HAVE A GOOG DAY!

Hi All, I had areally rough Sunday. Something I ate Sat. (Huddle House or Wendy's) before the campout made me really sick. I had severe stomache pains/cramps and up-chuks, but not from anything I ate at the campout that I know of. Im much better this morning......I didnt eat anything yesterday or today so far wanting to stay feeling ok

Oh dear. That doesn't sound like a very nice 4th of July weekend! So sorry you were sick.

Sis Silly girl, you don't need all that expensive creams/sticks to look young and beautiful. ;) The only cream/stick I induldge in are ice creams on a stick. :lmao:

lexmelinda Have a great day and enjoy the beautiful weather.

lalijack Back to back cookouts sound like a lot of work but I bet everyone enjoyed the food. We don't cook out often, so it's always a specuial treat.

Moo I like goat cheese wrapped in filo dough. Yuuuummmm.

Hi to everyone else :wave2:

Good morning, sunshines!

Marita, AminoGenesis is a really great line of moisturizers and anti-aging products. Particularly the Photolagen and the Counter Clockwise. Spendy, but well worth their prices. They have a website...check it out.

Kay, it WAS a lot of work, but it was well worth it! We all had a great time, and my kids really LOVE having family and friends over.

Melinda, thanks (again) for the info! You ROCK! Enjoy your beautiful weather today.

Hound, glad you're feeling better. Take it easy on your belly today....eat light!

Everyone else:

Check ya later!
