We went to a get together last night for a bit. Tim just couldn't get comfortable in our outdoor fold up chairs.

so today we'll be bring a patio chair with cushions to my Aunt's party. I don't care if I have to attach it to my car roof.

And mental note to pack the vicodine.

My mom has had Mal since tuesday. I miss her lots this morning.


Well I have a taco salad to make. See ya maybe tomorrow.

Happy 4th of July, everyone! Have fun and be safe!

1. Allie....Have fun on the river. I think. I like chlorinated water better. Where I can see the bottom. But I'm a wimp.

2. Lynette....Sounds like you live in a nice community with all the family activities. My friends' daughter is spending 2 weeks in Sandwich with the grandparents. They wanted us to go up and rent a house with them in august but it's just too close to move-in at the dorm. Maybe next year. Would you drive down and see us or is it too far?

1. Ha, Melinda! I'm a pool girl too! I don't want to be in water where there are live things to nibble on me and/or step on. I like water that's been chlorinated to take out the icky germs. And I want to be able to see where I'm stepping, thankyouverymuch.

2. This is a great town for families.....definitely one of the reasons we chose to buy here. Sandwich isn't that far at all....it's about 90 minutes from my house. I would ABSOLUTELY drive down to meet you! (If I can drive an hour just to see the outlaws, I can definitely go another 30 minutes to see someone I really like! )

I'm at the breadman's this week watching his kids, so I won't be on hardly at all.
I'm currently at the coffee shop because the kids aren't coming until tonight, breadman is working and I didn't feel like cleaning.

HAPPY 4th OF JULY, EVERYONE!!!!!

I'll be spending the holiday with a giant plate. They did the 4th of July fireworks last night at Magic Kingdom. Obviously they're doing them again tonight. They were so LOUD!!!! I bet they're really pretty. We're having a big 4th of July shindig at someone's house after work. Hope everyone enjoys the holiday!

Marita-- you have to work or are you working from home? Hope they pay you big bucks for working on a holiday.

Nope, I had to go to the office to work with my team. I even left 1 1/2 hours later than normal, and worked from home till 8:30 pm. More work this weekend, but from home. We have budget review in Wednesday, about 10 days more compressed from last year, so it's a real crunch this year.

No extra pay either, just a different day off in exchange. But they DO usually offer the salaried people a couple of extra days off for working tons of extra hours during budgets.(But NOT any more for DVC prperties that have to do 3 times the work!) Can you tell I am bitter?
Anyway, we have to fit 10 tons of work into a 4 ton truck!
Hourlies get overtime, of course.

MommyP - My hubby was mowing today. We've had a ton of rain lately so the grass is really growing this summer.

Nabbie - The puppies were barking at the fireworks but didn't get too freaked out. Don set a few off tonight and they scared the horses next door more than Jasper and Sukie.

It took me a while to straighten up after having company last night and I've been working on cleaning my laundry room

We went down to the fairgrounds tonight so we could have fair food for dinner and apparently they have postponed the fair for a few days due to the storm damage. We drove through the park next to the fairgrounds and there were lots of branches down and leaf fragments EVERYwhere. If not for the leaves still being green, it was like fall.

Looking forward to having three more days off

Hi Marita...we were rained out for our fireworks so we watched them on TV and are child free tonight so it wasnt that big a deal...I have alot of really good Indiana fireworks for tomorrow night at the campout.

Thank you BH, we did. There were so many fireworks in our neighborhood we took a walk.

Speaking of walking, TJ took another first step today. He was holding a t.v. remote and did not want to put it down. So, he decided to take a step. He did and didn't fall

Kindly slow here yesterdee. Did everybody stay up late to see the fireworks??

I cleaned house all day. We have friends coming to visit today. Their daughter (my godchild) is at a 5 week program about an hour from here and this is the only parents' day. They are driving to pick her up and then coming to Lexingfun for the day to shop and visit.

So they'll be here soonish. I have to wake people up and get things going.
