Just wanted to say I'm still alive! Just been really busy the past couple days.

Will catch up soon :)

Hey Moovers,
Just a quick hi and check in to say all is well. Had the weekend off and visited friends, and did almost nothing. Did see a rasslin' show of the free variety that was worth every penny. It could have been fun, but hearing 8 yos yelling you suck and questioning people's sexuality is so not what I enjoy. I also ate too much. The new melts at Beef O'Brady's are great.

MommyP: I was worried the baby got slammed into the entertainment center. You stopped it though. I don't want to know. I'm guessing no and he's ok. Oh, and the bug is icky!

All of your prayers got us through this. Thank you so much. I am so relieved and more at peace and less frazzeled and less worried now.

Tim was just able to do everything he needed to not be in the hospital anymore.

He could eat and hold things down, his bodily functions started working, his incision is healing.

I'm so glad he's home.

Trust me, he's good, he's already yelling at the boys. Everythings just like it was.

We got back to see the surgeon next week. We'll be able to ask all of our questions and hopefully the pathology reports will be in.

Hugs to you all.

Pumba - It's a flippin huge beetle. We have lots of them, oddly though, I only have seen them dead.

Mony He didn't hit his head. Kaleb almost tipped him over though. I was fixing dinner and all the sudden I realized that Kaleb was saying something about a rollercoaster, over and over. I looked over and he was spinning Isaac. LOL! Had to get some video before I stopped it. ;)

Finally caught up!

It took me quite a bit of work this weekend to get my house ready to have my friends over tonight. I haven't had company in eons, so it was a pretty major project. I got everything picked up (the worst part of the job) and vacuumed, scrubbed the kitchen floor and baseboards and put down new rugs, and sandblasted my bathroom and the kitchen, but I ran out of steam and didn't complete the dusting.

Last night, I twisted my back the wrong way and could hardly walk this morning, so I didn't go in to work today. It took several doses of Tylenol to feel better. Fortunately, I was able to participate in a couple meetings over the phone.

I do believe it's time to hire a cleaning lady.

Emily and I watched Definitely, Maybe last night til around 12:30. It was pretty goog but not as good as Love Actually or Bridget Jones' Diary. (same producers) That's setting the bar pretty high in the lexmelinda book.

Mimi is gone to Cincinnati. Again. To shop at IKEA for the dorm room. And all her usual favorite stores that they don't have here in the boonies.
Lex - I loved that Definitely, Maybe movie! Gotta rent it this weekend.

My daughter has spent a small fortune at IKEA!!! Starting with dorm stuff and most recently on bedroom furniture. I much prefer the store near Sandy to the one in the Detroit area, but it's way too far to go now that we finally have one in Michigan.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Hee hee, I can toadily relate . . .

That's what I meant by this:

I figure people don't pick up a lot of the stuff I say. ;) I really enjoyed Adventurer's Club and Comedy Warehouse. :sad2:
PJ - I got what you were saying, too! There are going to be a lot of disappointed people.

I brought Tim home today. He's resting.

I'm relieved.
Mony - So glad to hear Tim is home - sending prayers for a quick recovery :goodvibes

Oh, and thanks for all the pixie dust sent my way yesterday. Our parent's 50th Anniversary party went off without a hitch. I would go into more detail, but don't want to bore you with details. ;)
Allie - Yay for the party going smoothly! I'm glad that my BIL/SIL did the planning for my FIL's party. They just told my hubby what to bring. I asked if anything else was needed, but they had everything under control. I may suggest taking them out to dinner to my hubby because I know that it was pretty expensive for the food and such.

Hey Moo...are we ready for more chocolate pictures......LOL
NOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nabbie - Have a nice holiday!!! I'm looking forward to having Friday off :thumbsup2

Marita - Thanks for sharing your DD's adventures with us! Have a great time at the GF shindig.

Wendy - LOVED the West Fest pics!!! :lmao: Thanks for sharing.

MommyP - Cute video and sippy cup pic!!!!!

Twink! You're going to be away for a month??! Wow. Will your hubby be with you the entire time, or does he have to get back to work part way through? Goog luck with your :laundy: and packing.

Cool! So what was the occasion (other than Christmas in June)?

Prepping for your upcoming trip?????

Finally caught up!

NOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok then, since you said it that way
...I'll just sit here with my box of Hershey's Pot Of Gold Assorted and feast away.

BTW ...I glad you liked the pic. Moo

I brought Tim home today. He's resting.

I'm relieved.

Maybe tonight when I have more than a minute i can try to catch up.
So glad to hear he's home and on the mend!
:grouphug:

Answered prayers Monica!!

Oh, and thanks for all the pixie dust sent my way yesterday. Our parent's 50th Anniversary party went off without a hitch. I would go into more detail, but don't want to bore you with details. ;)

Unfortunately, there was a tragic accident at the second showing of our local airshow yesterday. A 5 year old boy was killed when a generator fell on top of him. I'm reporting this from news reports, since we were out of town yesterday, but apparently a storm blew up, and they paused the airshow while the rain passed, and then the wind picked up and it knocked over the tents, and the generator. They were in the box seats which you had to pay extra for. The generator was so that they could have A/C while watching the show. So sad. :sad1:
I'll take details if you care to share! Glad it went off without a hitch!!! :cool1: That is too sad about that little boy, though. Oh my. :sad2:

PJ I've signed a petition - it would be nice if they somehow found time for the Adenture's Club somewhere - buut maybe it needs revamping? I hear they'll have a hot air balloon like they do in Disney Paris!
A petition? Where? I'll sign it!

OMGosh!!!!

I'm SOOOOOO jealous!!!!! :yay: :yay: :yay:
We bought 4 tickets and there's only 3 of us going at this point. We just assumed we'll find a 4th person. Have we just found our 4th person??? If you're in TN by then it'll only be about a 5 hour drive!

Well, Natasha may be a contender for that position. But since her knowledge of Taylor's songs are limited to the ones which are 7-y.o.-friendly, I guess you win for now.
If I was 15 years younger or Natasha was 15 years older we would SO be bff.

MommyP....that bug just reminded me of something gross (which I'm sure y'all want to hear). The other day Hollywood and I went to lunch at the Polynesian. We were in the bathroom and we noticed all the tiles were falling off the edge of the counter. It looked like it was rotting and it was all nasty. Upon closer look we realized that the tiles were falling off because there was in fact some sort of rotting situation going on. And...and....AND....there were huge bugs crawling out from under the tiles!!!!!!!!!!! Like the size of my pinky finger!!!!!!!!! I thought I was going to beurk on the spot. Not 5 minutes after we left the bathroom it was closed for "routine maintenance." Florida sure does have the big bugs. :scared:

I'll leave you with that. Sweet dreems. Heh.

GOOD MORNING!

Everybody come over and play trivia! A new tournament starts today. Play daily!

Thank you for that lovely image, PJ. I may never go to the Poly again.

Moo....Glad you're OK. Usually I love having my house really clean but not if I have to hurt myself to do it. Get a cleaning lady! Once every two weeks should be enough? You and Mr. Moo can't make that much of a mess.

DTD...Free rasslin'? :scared: My Poppa loved rasslin'. He was a quiet man but when rasslin' was on, he became very animated....throwing punches, yelling at the TV, etc. It was his favorite thing. Not sure he'd enjoy the free version with the naughty 8 yos.

WT....Where'd the boys get the free, surprise stuff? Santa just getting to Misery?

MP....Gross bug but cute babies! Do you know someone who's serving in China?

Gotta get a sweater.

EVERYBODY HAVE A SPLENDID DAY!

Ok we are down to hours here. I guesstimate I have 28 hrs until we leave. I made major progress yesterday but there is still so much to do. Thank goodness the baby needs me to sit down and feed him every few hours or I wouldn't be able to keep up or get bestomped at scrabble. ;)

Hi Moo- thanks for checking in. I hope you feel better. I hear you on the deep cleaning. The DH will be returning to the prarie after the segment of the trip with his parents. Then he will rejoin me to drive back. I am not quite crazy enough to attempt an 20 hr drive with 5 kids by myself. I would and have flown with the kids by myself but that is different.

MP- I enjoyed the picture and video. Isaac looks so much older all of the sudden. Roller coasters must agreee with him. ;) Gabe has a real laid back personality but I have noticed that he loves stuff like bumpy stroller rides and being upside down allready.

HI Lex! I haven't played trivia in forever and I won't be around this month but I'll be back. Speaking of which- has anyone else been getting prank calls from Ah-nold? I have. They seem too sophisticated to be local utes. (Do you think it is Wendy?)

Oko. I need to get a sweater and make tracks. I'll check in later. Entertain me. ;)

Good Morning everyone...its nice and sunny outside ...lets hope it will stay that way...Im in Loo-uh-vul today hangin with Justin and doin my work stuff and CVS first of the month bargains.

Peej!!!! I'd LOOOVE to go (honest) but I doubt I'd be "allowed" to. :sad2:

BH and Moo
- CHOCOLATE? UGH! Tell me it's a Pot o-Gold with nasty faux-fruit cream.

Twinkie- I am being bestompt too (in Scrabble) :rolleyes1 Karma keeps a close eye on Scrabulous, TRUST me there!

Melindah- NO! I LOVE trivia but not of the timed variety. I do not have fast fingers.

WT- great! My kids got passed up by the June Santa again! What'd the Mini-Wheats do to rate THAT?

PJ part 2- EWWW! No like bugs! Love the innocent sign. Sounds better than "Mutant Insect infestation: Enter at own risk!"

Marita-I want to know which 5th floor resort building is infested with bed bugs? You know, in case I'm planning a SURPRISE stalking trip.

Mommy P-- I was thinking the same thing while watching that video...:lmao: Glad he didn't hit his head. Cool he is drinking out of a cup already. Funny in my mind they stay really small until you post pictures and see them get older before you eyes.

Twinkie-- I am sure there is a lot of packing to do for five children :scared: Do you need a U-haul?

Moo-- Hope you back feels better today. I hate cleaning....but someone has got to do it and I don't really have an excuse since I am home all day.

BH-- chocolate again....if it is in my house it is gone so I don't let it in to often.

It is a beautiful day here today to and it is Canada Day!!!

I will be spending it with my family once they are finished getting ready for the day. Lots happening around town since it is also our towns 150th Birthday too. And most of it is free....:woohoo: Went to Ribfest yesterday, we picked rib sauce from Alabama, great but messy. Facing painting, games, fireworks here we come!!

Love IT!

However I'm sure the people with dial up internet are LOVING you!!!

I thought Dial Up was banded due to being older than dirt pracktally...Sorry all you dial up people...I will keep the rumblytumbly pics to a minumum from now on.

Wendy - LOL! Thank goodness I don't have dial up anymore.

Peej - Thanks. I dare you to post that on the Resorts board. ;)

Twinkie - A MONTH? I thought you were going for a week. Will you have computer access?

Luther - No, I don't. The picture came from the Voice of the Martyers magazine. You can buy those silly plastic braclets to wear you remind you of things. Those are to remind you to pray for your persecuted brothers and sisters in China. The pursecution has gotten worse in anticipation of the Olympics. I don't want to wear a silly plastic bracelet, so I figured in my sig. I'd be reminded often enough. ;) Plus if people ask I can share with them about it.

I am off to Walmart. It's Jeremiah's birthday and I haven't gotten him presents yet.

BH-- chocolate again....if it is in my house it is gone so I don't let it in to often.

I dont know what the deal is with me wanting chocolate lately. I just love it...and especially on Ice Cream

Wendy...my wife cant have much chocolate ...it gives her Migraine's so she eats the filled ones...I like the truffles.
