GOOD MORNING!

Woke up late again. We live on the cusp of the Eastern/Central time zone so it's light here until 9:30ishthese days. I can't get the lil man to bed before 10 at night. And I know you all think I'm an early riser. But. I must have 9ish hours of sleep at night. My body requires it. Always has. So I can't get up at 5:30 like I'd like to if I go to bed at 10. See?

MOMMY P!!!!!
I knew Chad would find just the right job! Sounds like he'll have a chance to improve his skills/pay as well. And I'm glad you have high speed again! We've missed you.

DTD....You should be a travel agent! BTW...you're killing at the trivia lately! Goog job!

WT....Why don't those criminals commit their crimes at other times of the year? Don't they know you need some summer R & R?

Lil G
....Glad you checked in. We've missed you too.

Moo.....I love sloppy joes too. Had one last week at VBS.

Cel....How do you deredneckify? Take down pictures of dogs playing poker? Beer can collections? Velvet Elvises? Nascar caps? :confused3 If it was my double wide, there would be an inside smoking ban!

Twinkie! Yay for the beach! My SIL has rented a beach house big enough for a crowd and is wanting us ALL to come down for a week. I'm thinking YES on the free beach house. ::yes::

Lynette?
More ADRs yet?

Marita?
Did you book that flight?

Wendee.....I do not fear the big bugs. My shoe is bigger than those nasty bugs. I just show them who's boss.

Monica....:wave2:  Hope your day was better yesterday.

Hound....Thanks for the picture! I always love a visual. :)

NAB....Never throw the folders away! It's not over til it's over. ;) Aren't the kids getting antsy for school to be over? It's the middle of June! When do they start back? September?

PJ....How'd the test go?

BNCG? Whatcha doing?

EVERYBODY ELSE
......:wave2: (per WT so as to avoid any hurt feelings)

HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY!

GOOD MORNING!

BNCG? Whatcha doing?

Life is soooo busy here. We have had basketball camps, and baseball championships, and summer enrichment programs, and the summer reading thingy at the library, and Fathers Day, and anniversaries, and bdays galore this week, and weddings (another friend is getting married in July. I'm not in this wedding. yay), AND I have been working lots and lots lately. Oh and for those of you who missed it, some one did in fact name their baby "Radio". You Moovers came up with some good middle names in chat the other night. Let's see there was "Frequency" and "Wave" and "Dial", and I cant think of the rest.

Also the pirateballerina is trying to talk me into taking a brief jaunt down to WDW to meet up with her and snarkbRitches. She said the dh can stay home. Wasn't that nice of her? I am sure that he will appreciate her kind sentiments.

It has been sunny everyday here. If you decide to visit Sunnybrook, all the gals at the slumber party will be glad to braid your hair, paint your toenails, and have a pillow fight with you WT.

The lack of rain means no :umbrella: Wassup with that???

Hope all is well, I am sure I will catch up with you guys more in August, when school is back in session.

morning.....kiddos went away for a playgroup in their old town...so I am alone for a while....I guess I will do the dishes......clean the fridge and start a load of clothes.....I am still in my housecoat....
Yesterday went with hubby to the doctors office and they did a biopsy of the cyst that came from his tick bite last October....they took out a good chunk...he was off his blood thinner for three days so they could do this procedure...they will look and see what part of the tick I DIDNT GET....hey they were lucky I did it at all...makes me shudder~~~~~~!

Oh baaaaaaaaabynurse!!!!!! :listen:

p.s. the test went fine. Thanks for asking! :)

MommyP...goog to see ya!! Congrats to Chad on the job. :goodvibes

Surely I had things to say to other people, but I will just do the WT hi to everyone....:wave2:

Hollywood and I are off on a few adventures before work. And by adventures I mean the library and the post office. Have a good one, y'all!

PirateBallerina- Guess what?! chickenbutt. The dance school just called to talk to me about my freakin' genius children.

Babynurse- I miss you! Maybe you should come to the prairie since you are touring ::cop:

MommyP- I need beach tips! On crowd control and sunburn prevention and anything else you can think of....

Lex- thanks for the useful info;)

Utah- Where are you? Don't make me start harassing you again.

Bloodhound, Pumba, Celery, Marita and everybody else- Hi! Time to load up the car yet again and head to yet another Kid Sport Location.

School's all done(ish) (I let them go play outside, we can finish handwriting later since Chad won't be home until 7 anyway.), lunch is cleaned up, baby is fed and playing in his super cool round and round he walks toy, so I officially can check in without feeling too much guilt. Laundry is still not done though.

The boys are playing at the neighbors on what looks to be a pink variation of the "Redneck Slip N Slid". So it's nice and quiet in here. Which in my world is WONDERFUL!

I am going to get started on hanging 5 8x10 pictures of the boys at all around the same age in a artish fashion in my living room. Decorating is coming along quite nicely. I am having an impossible time printing out 8x10 pictures though, they keep coming up too narrow. Any ideas?

Twinkie - 10 days devoted to visiting In-laws? I'm afraid a couple of nights aren't going to cut it. Part of mine are coming mid July. Thank heaven it's VBS week.

Here's mine, now show me yours. ;)

Drool anyone?

Super long story about In-laws:
When we were in Ga. we got along really well with Chad's sister and her DH. Unfortunately they have a completely out of control 1 1/2 year old though. Anyhoo, we told them to come down and stay with us some time. So Chad gets a call from his Mom(step mom who raised him and is obnoxiously insane) saying that they all put in time off for such and such a week AND they're bringing the brother to put him in jail down here. Yes, you read that right. Years ago they came to visit and Chad's Mom had his little brother(who isn't mentally okay because of too many acid trips) arrested for "battery" Even though she didn't have a mark on her and we all know that she intentionally tries to tick him off and make him feels stupid. So anyway, after having him arrested here in 2001, they proceeded to end their vacation and go home. While he was HERE in jail. We took care of it and put him on a bus to an Aunts house(we were living with my parents at the time). He didn't stay there long before they put him on a bus back to Ga. All the while he had probation here in Florida that no one took care of. So he's had a warrant for his arrest all these years. Now it's all coming back to bite them in the bottom because he's about to lose him government money because of this. Hence the bringing him here to have him arrested. ::cop:

I know that if it interferes with their vacation they'll leave him here. Which will be sad because Chad won't be able to do a dang thing for him. He didn't even get home until 7 last night and he had to leave for work at 5 this morning. That 6 days a week is not going to leave time for his brothers legal problems.

So anyhoo, after inviting herself and son along with Chad's sister and her DH she said they may or may not stay here. Meanwhile, Chad gets a new job which takes him away from the situation. I told him they cannot stay here, I will not make it. If they come, I'm leaving. I'm staying with the kids in the Cape for VBS that week. hehe ;)

Thanks everyone for your congrats. I am trying to have a positive attitude about this. He's never had a job that took him away from home so long and never had to work 6 days a week. I miss my husband and best friend(and it's only been 1 days) and it breaks my heart to listen to the boys talk about Daddy not being here. :worried:

I think I need a support group. :smokin:

Celery - We had a good storm yesterday afternoon. We lost our power for a little while. But I didn't notice at first because we had all the blinds shut and lights off playing hide and seek. :cool2:

BabyN
- Radio? I have a friend who wanted to name her baby Jubilee, but her DH said, No. Then she was considering Lilias, because she admires Lilias Trotter. He nixed that one too.

WT - Don't be a stranger.

PJ...glad your test went well....how is work going?
Work is going well, thanks for asking! I am making sure to capitalize on all the free food while having as much fun as possible. It really is a great job. There's only one bad thing this time around....my Donnisha nametag is nowhere to be found. :worried:

PirateBallerina- Guess what?! chickenbutt. The dance school just called to talk to me about my freakin' genius children.
Are they destined to be professional dancers?! What did they tell you??

PSA #2
Victoria's Secret semi-annual sale. Which was of course on the way to the post office. duh. :rolleyes1

Off to work, have a goog night.
:grouphug:

JUUUUST kidding! :cool2:

Twinkie - Beach tips?

Starting now teach Goldenchild and Gabe how to sleep on command. Really, it's not that hard. When they are sleepy, cradle them in your arms and hold them tight enough that they can't squirm. Sing softly, whisper in their ear, whatever gets the job done. Even if they fuss keep holding them until they fall asleep. This is called the Sleeper Hold TM MommyP.

The effects of which can be seen here:

and here:

And finally here:
47b8db07b3127ccec460c81ba35500000066102AbM2bRi0cMQe3nwY

My next big tip is this.
Don't do this to your baby.
47b8d836b3127ccec436261176fa00000026102AbM2bRi0cMQe3nwY

And finally, Redneck Boats TM MommyP make wonderful baby beds(keep the umbrella down real low to the ground to keep more sun off of sleeping baby.

Forl real though..
1. My first tip from above is totally for real.
2. So is my second.
3. And the umbrella tip too.
4. Get one of those big yellow net beach toy bags and make one of the Twinkietwins carry it. The other can carry any other childrens crap.
4. Less is more.
5. I said 4. twice
6. One floaty, even for the good swimmers, makes life much more enjoyable. Especially in the Atlantic surf, over here in the gulf it's like a swimming pool.
7. A small radio with the Poly background music really sets the mood.
8. If someone returns your child before you realize they are lost, it doesn't count. ;)
9. I'm jealous.

MommyP- Look how big Isaac has gotten! How cute!
Love your beach tips...I WISH I could use them about now!
I remember nursing in a swimsuit. ::yes:: I attempted to be discreet but 3 out of 4 of my nurslings did NOT like to be covered at all. Thank goodness Norah-Nomorah didn't take issue.

Shoot, when Jordan was a baby, we lived 119 steps away from the ocean! :cloud9: (Back with my first practice husband).

I love all your MacGyver'd beds. I have one to add: A boogie board with a towel on top. :thumbsup2 WITH an umbrella as per the tips.

MommyP!? ......Where were you when I was trying to get all those babies to sleep? I wish I'd known about the sleeper hold (TM MommyP) ages ago! The problem is always that I can't get them to be still long enough to get drowsy. You're a genius! And your little Poppins men are precious...drool and all.

Bloodhound....When inserting a hyperlink into text, all you have to do is highlight the text you want to link by click/hold/drag your mouse across it. Then just click on the tool right above the text box that looks like the earth with the two little chain links at the bottom. A pop up box with open and you just paste the web address that you want to link it to. :3dglasses

Thanks Melinda...I will give it a try.

I wish I had thought of it before baby number 4. But it was SO handy with Kaleb. I plan on teach Isaac as well. ;) They get tired of struggling and give in. I think the longest it's ever taken me was like 15-20 minutes and that was at Epcot and Kaleb was getting older then. Most times it takes less than 10. Well worth it to get you baby to sleep at WDW or the beach.

Time to sneak a shower in before Isaac can't wait anymore.
