I wish I had thought of it before baby number 4. But it was SO handy with Kaleb. I plan on teach Isaac as well. They get tired of struggling and give in. I think the longest it's ever taken me was like 15-20 minutes and that was at Epcot and Kaleb was getting older then. Most times it takes less than 10. Well worth it to get you baby to sleep at WDW or the beach.

Time to sneak a shower in before Isaac can't wait anymore.

1. Great pic Mommy P. I can only imagine how hot it was that day. Good idea to wrap the kid so tightly in that towel. He will be good and sweaty so you can roll him around in all that white sand. I want to see the AFTER pic. The one where he looks like a sugar donut.

2. Another great pic. I especially like how he doesn't have any clothing on. I'm sure he will appeciate this pic in about 10 years too.

3. A fine example of photography at it's finest. "Look honey, Junior is sleeping. Why don't you go take a picture of him. Make sure to use that flash in case he doesn't wake up to the sound of the click."

5. This one is right out of Art Class 101. Subject is well centered. Subject has his eyes open. Subject is in front of an interesting background. Really, I could go on and on about this one.

My sister spent a year in Budapest in college and went back for vacation a couple of years ago. The shirt was purchased for the previous baby boy.

The "bug bites" are actually stamps. At gymnastics you get stamps for listening and/or learning a new skill. This was from Feb and the stamps are red and heart shaped. It does look like he has some contaigous disease in the picture though.

Twinkie Congrats on the upcoming non-Disney vacation. A beach vacation sounds great and I bet your kids will love it. Lowell and I are doing a week at Myrtle Beach in July. I'm looking forward to it.

NAB You have my sympathy on the power outages. No fun. We have had quite a few violent thunderstorms lately. We haven't lost power, but during one of the storms, lightning must have struck close by and made a power surge. There was a big crackly bang noise and smoke started pouring out of all the low voltage lighting fixtures in our kitchen. I still have no kitchen lights. We need to figure out if we can just replace the bulbs and transformers or whether we need all new fixtures. The surge also fried all our phones and the answering machine. We're down to one old clunky dial phone and the ring is so strange that most of the time I don't realize that weird ringing is the phone until after the caller has hung up!

MommyP Loved all the baby photos (but not the bug photos), and a big MOOO HOOTY to Chad for landing a super new job. I got a kick out of your trademarked baby Sleeper Hold. Is that anything like the Vulcan nerve pinch Spock used to do on Star Trek?

Oh and for those of you who missed it, some one did in fact name their baby "Radio". You Moovers came up with some good middle names in chat the other night. Let's see there was "Frequency" and "Wave" and "Dial", and I cant think of the rest.

bbn, on the baby name front . . . I was reading People magazine tonight and there is an article about Matthew McConaughey's brother Rooster who is in a new reality show called Black Gold about the oil industry (sounds right up WT's alley). His son's name is Miller Lyte.

AND, I saw my hubby's cousin's (unmarried, I think, Kay) daughter with her 3 month old baby boy while out grocery shopping last night. His name is Kaeden.

I CONCUR!!!!! My friend, Ben is obsessed with that show and I tried to watch it a few times with him and ended up falling asleep every time. I just don't get it. Risking one's life to catch food for people? Is that really necessary??????

As soon as I saw the red on Goldenchild, I thought, oh, someone was well-behaved at gymnastics!! I used to take babysitting kid to a gymnastics class every Tuesday. He rarely got stamps though. Just sayin.

One of the waitresses is pregnant. She is due in 4 days and she's still working. I was taking a family to their table tonight and a little girl saw this waitress and she turned to her mom and said, "look mommy, is she going to have a baby?" The mom smacked the little girl on the hand and said "no, honey, she's just fat, and it's rude to point that out!" People.

....i was ..to "see"..lil'blue...hasn't forgotten us...& her lil'
remembrance. fyi,i think all our life experiences..moves us in directions
we could never had the wisdom, to have chosen for ourselves..making
faith, a necessarity beyond beliefs. in our haste, we miss so much
knowledge.

..talking breast feeding...out in the open...& fat ladys...& you wonder...
why ...we're so busy, . again!,...right after birth..& no matter how
critical..ill the infant is in...."taking time"...to be with the mother..raised
the surival rate! then placing new borns..on their mother's bellies..and
suckling..before going to the nursery..isn't just for show!....it is an
amazing physiological response..that should never be ignore.

win/win..for the mother & child. even after all these years, iam
always in awe..with the miraclous dyanmics..that we were endowed with.

[ the thinking, that it took to set forth...every birth, is a work of art. ]

..then it passes...so quickly & beyond..our mortal being. birth. funny, no
matter where...you place..the lil'rascal....they will not stop..movine forward
until their lil'nog "hit something". sooooooo , it stands..to reason , once l
labor..starts,...they're off & running. one experienced...knows..the
differnces..between just born/6 hrs/12 hrs/ one day...there you go.

"breast feeding"...starts..the mother..body..back to recovery...better than
any thing..we had to offer. & how sneaky..the lord is..by adding feelings
in this process...of existing...

....too bad...there isn't more physics....required to participate..in sex,
however, its values...are secured in the bonding...leading to sharing
...& the art of making true love. ever noticed..an pinball machine..& those
that...only...manipulate the balls down the chute..then there are those
"skilled" enough..to light up ...all the extra bonus/tropghy points. the
thing...that requires life....is in body functuions but reaching fulfillment
is all, another matter...within our grasp..if the desires & commitments
passes the test..of time. thus is what i 've been so blessed to learn
while i used to be so lacking in knolwedge.


..and with that...one begins..to see where the terrible'2 come from?
before..lil'ones..could do no wrong...and never experience..negative
reactions..then, they reached..the age./.of "movin' .., = dangers.
now they see reactions..that they had no idea...existed..& want to go
back? can one blame them? ..why did the rules changed!


..oh, as you can see?..i sorta endulges..with being human..and looking
for ..secrets....right in front our noses? fun..and making art...as long

15 years ago today I proudly welcomed my sweet "little" 9 lb 15 oz baby girl into the world and I have never been the same. She is such a great kid, with a big heart and a winning smile. She is always willing to help someone in need, and is full of compassion. She's also got a stubborn streak, but hey she had to get SOME of her daddy's genes. I cannot wait until she gets older and has children of her own, and I can kinda sorta let go of being her mom and become more of her friend. We get along so well now (probably cuz I like to act 15....heh), I just cant wait to see what the future holds for us.
