Thanks for all the compliments. Unfortunately, that was 7 years ago, and the thighs expanded and the wrinkles increased. And that was a flattering picture.

Forecast is done and turned in, TG. It takes work to pretend expenses will come in on budget

My boss called this afternoon to say that His boss called to say I need to take vacation. I am at my limit and stop accrueing vacation time

So I am taking tomorrow off. Which is just great with me. I need to get ready for dinner at Raglan Road tomorrow, followed by Cirque at 6. And general getting ready for DD's graduation and lunch with her BF's parents on Saturday.

When we moved here we had a huge honking snowblower because we came for a snow belt area and they laughed and said we wouldn't need it, well this winter who was laughing.

bbn...glad you made it through yesterday with some grace. I know that's more than I could say for myself. I hope that even though it was hard it brought you some peace.

Thanks to everyone who asked about me or wished me goog luck in getting my work done!! It was, in fact, completed yesterday at 4:15pm...which is when class starts. I was still working on it at school! I put the little people to work. It made me feel like a bad teacher but I had them cutting out lamination, hole punching, and putting things in binders for me. I pitched it as we were going to have a fun "community service" afternoon, aka PJ didn't get her work done. I put on happy working song from Enchanted and sent them to work! Those who weren't helping me had to do classroom community service and clean! My teacher was laughing so hard at me. But hey, 24 little people can come in handy and I claimed they were learning something about teamwork or helping others or some crap like that.

Yesterday in class everyone was so tired. No one slept! Two people came and just said they didn't finish. They literally just gave up. It was too much. The professor gave them an extension.

ANYWAY....

Tomorrow is my last day at my school. I will definitely miss those kids. I've learned so much from them. And hopefully taught them a few things, too.

Real quick before I go to school:

Short version:

Thought Mal broke her arm

She has nurses elbow, always pop out of place, this time I couldn't put it back and she was holding her lower arm and crying and wouldn't move.

Took her to ER, had to have mom and sister come over with her two boys

During xrays, mal had to move her arm a certain way and it popped back into place.

At least I found out how to pop her elbow back into place the right way.

The Mc Muscley Doctor with the dark hair and eyes even let me practice on him

They really did like it! When I told them they were helping with a college class, they felt so big and important! And when we came to circle at the end of the day to discuss our experiences many of them did say it felt good to help people and to help our classroom community. Mission accomplished. My teacher just kept saying "only you, Lauren, only you." Hey, I'm one of a kind, what can I say!

So, I was going to just wear Hollywood's so I don't have to buy one for $45 but then I'll be the only one with a plain black gown. Decisions, decisions.

Marita ......is it true that all the hotdog and hamburg buns and pizza are being done on WHEAT>........I dont want to eat healthy......I just want to eat......you know the stuff we dont usually get at home........can you find out if I have to take some hamburg buns with us that are WHITE....

hubby and I went out to a wonderful mexican restaurant for supper.......I had chicken chimmichunga and mexican rice and my favorite ........GUACOMOLE...I love the green stuff.....hubby had tia super burito.....full of beef.........

Pumba, I don't know. Not something I deal with, and I rare go out to eat at Disney restaurants and order those. But I read those complaints on th boards.

I don't know if I find that out, but I imagine they have some for special requests. I won't be back to work till Monday, so I will try and remember to ask.

OK, I emailed the head chef at my hotel. I will let you know if anything I hear back.

The RobInBigKC household is having our first "tornado warning party" of the season. A tornado touched down on the ground about 25 miles from us, in Plattsburg, MO, at 7:26 Central and then headed our way but I think it's going to about 10 miles north of us when it passes.

Anyway, we're ALL (4 boys, 2 parents, 2 cats, 1 dog) down in the basement (staying away from windows ) and watching the Disney channel on one TV and the storm coverage on the other. DS7 was a little anxious when the storm sirens went off, so I'm inside to ease his concerns even though I prefer to take in most of my storm watching from the front porch.

I say, save the money - Xavier has enough of your money as it is, plus there is a tradition to consider!! (and think what $45 can buy!! our colleges only rent them for that amount!! You get to keep the hat tho! )

I read that too Pumba I say we all start a letter writing campaign, at least let us chose - I WANT WHITE BUNS FROM CASEYS (as opposed to the whole wheat... wow that can be taken out of context too easy!!)
