I am at the point at my trip report when UtahMama hijacked with pictures of Hammer Pants. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Thanks for being my friend my fellow gangsta mama!

HAAAA! I forgot about that! :rotfl2: What page is it?
My favorite is the Jungle Cruise comandeering. EDA: Page 44!!! I used to be soooo funny! Now, I'm a washed up has-been.
Good Times, Twink!

My bladder control aint what it used to be!! :rotfl2:

oh UMA!! :rotfl2: You're the bestest!!
My bladder is a delicate flower too...after being a fetus trampoline 5 times

(remember I lost my very first baby at 6 months along :sad1: 20 years ago this month!)

YOU are the bestest!!!!!

Uma  I lost 3, so the three I have are angels - we are blessed in so many ways!!

:rolleyes1 (TMI warning) the ob looked at me a few years ago and told me I may need a "lift" for my bladder!! or a hammock!! :rotfl2: (she claims it was the 3 10# + births I had... naturally... )

:grouphug: :flower3:

I want THAT!!!! Course if I do, I'll tell everyone here ALL about it!

Nothing has ever been bornt naturally from my former womb. Mine are hatched like 8 or 9 pound pods.

OUCH! Watermelon sized mini-people through THERE???? (LOL!)

 DS just finished and TURNED IN his Senior Thesis!!

:woohoo:

I think he is 3 finals away from being a college graduate!! :woohoo:

Gradution ceremonies May 10 :dance3:

Then the real work begins, searching for a job!!

He's not allowed to live in the condo until he has a job!!

anybody have any suggestions for a History Major? English minor??

(he wants to be a teacher but couldnt get into the teaching program at UofI without going a full 3 additional years - instead of 1 1/2 - I hope he goes for his masters in teaching tho! that's just 18 months of work! 6months student teaching!)

CRAP!What's with the rain! April showers bring May flowers!

DH is home for the day. When it rains, he doesn't work and my lazy groove gets all mucked up. :rotfl2:

Better go make him a lunch.

Sandy! Congratulations on your son!!!

well.....mama is finally next to her sweetie (my dad).......it was so wonderful to see so much of our family....almost 30 and alot of little people.....her great great grandkids.....the service was just a graveside service as she had a Mass in December ....So after the service the kids were encouraged to look into the vault where mama was lowered in and had flowers on her casket too....after we went to a restaurant.....well 17 of us did......all in all ....its nice to have a family as big as ours...
Thanks for keeping me in your thoughts today....I appreciated it ..believe me...:lovestruc

:grouphug: Pumba

I am also thinking of Babynurse, PJ and MP today. :grouphug:

Lots of love and prayers Pumba! :grouphug:
I find comfort knowing in my heart that we're only separated by death for a brief time compared to the eternity we'll have together in heaven. Big families are the best! I'm thankful you have such support and love surrounding you at this time. God Bless and comfort you and your family.

Pumba joining the circle of friendship, adding more hugs, and prayers... you seem so at peace, and that is truly a gift that is passed on - May God indeed continue to Bless you with your family and friendships!! :grouphug:

BBN Hope you arrived safely and feel the peace - holding you in my thoughts and prayers as well!! :grouphug:

Pennies from Heaven, Sandy? I've heard that expression but never really put 2 and 2 together :flower3:

I just don't like the thought of being old enough to have a child who would be 20. :sad2: I wonder what kind of man he would be now. Jordan's always imagined him as his guardian angel big brother. His birthstone is included in the center of my tiara shaped mother's ring that I wear. 5 stones, not 4.

Did you get a new laptop, Sandee? :wizard: Or just hoping yours will work.

I'm dragging DH to a craft boo-tique at my richie-rich friend's house on the East side.

I also made him watch Finding Jane with me today. His eyes glazed over and he lasted roughly 15 minutes before he was asleep. :thumbsup2 The movie has Mrs. Weasley from Harry Potter in it! It's really good, I thought. Kind of tragic though.

Becoming Jane? Maybe? I got the DVD for my birfday. Any man would glaze over.

I received 27 Dresses (the movie!) in the mail today. I'm trying to organize a neighborhood girl movie/appetizer/drink/drool over James Marsden night tomorrow night.

1. Pink is my favo(u)rite too!!! I buy them for myself on occasion.

2.
Rob-
I don't even want to know if they pee in the shower. ACK! I'm suddenly needing to Chlorox and Lysol my bathrooms. I think I'm going to needle point that saying "Toilets are for sitting" and duck tape down all the seats (which will just lead to pee-seats). :sad2:

1. My favorite roses are Peace Hybrid Tea Roses. They are a pale, creamy color, but look like someone dipped the edges of the petals in deeper pink. Yes, I know...I'm high maintenance.

2. In my house, we compromise by always putting the lid down. No middle of the night surprises that way.

BBN, Pumba, Sandy and Wendy...:grouphug: Hope you feel the prayers and good thoughts headed your way.

Hey, everyone else! What's up????

tons of hugs : to babycow and marie.

Thank you so much celery. P.S.

She would probably just end up with a crappy one.

Aint that the truth.

BBN, Pumba, Sandy and Wendy...:grouphug: Hope you feel the prayers and good thoughts headed your way.

Thanks snarkgirl. Got a good chicken joke?:upsidedow

Twinx:
I quoted you, but it didnt show up. Thank you too.

The service was really nice. But it was very hard to hear them playing "taps" at the grave site since he was a veteran, and to see those veterans pass by his casket and salute was just about more than I could take, but I did make it through. I have a soft spot for our military anyway, so that was definitely a tear jerker moment.

I did go to my aunts house for awhile after the service and got to visit with my 13 cousins that I havent seen in awhile. And my cousin, Craig, who is only two months older than me got to reminscing and we recalled quite a bit of mischief that we caused back in the day. Our mothers may or may not have been shocked and horrified to hear of some of our "adventures".:rolleyes1 It was nice to catch up with myfamily, but now I am very tired and heading to bed early.

Thanks again for remembering me today. It means so much.

Hey, everyone else! What's up????

DS stopped by tnight to drop things for storage in the already over packed garage :scared1:

We chatted for a good hour or so, he leaves Monday, and not much free time between now and then.

He sold his stereo system and computer and his best friend is taking grandturtle George for his son tomorrow. Tomorrow he works, then Friday nd Saturday we have family affairs with Cirque and DD's graduation, then Sunday has a baptism and birthday party for his best friends kids to attend and then on Monday he leaves.

I was kiddingly telling him to go get me a Jr Whopper and fries tonight since I am working. He said no, as expected. Then he left.
10 Minutes later he showed up with Whopper and fries. He said he could'nt let his little mama starve :cloud9: :lovestruc

On the other hand, DD left without a word after doing her laundry. But then again, I was on the phone with work. I am trying to be positive....

I have absolutely NO interest in working now, but I guess I need to, deadline is noon tomorrow.

:grouphug: to Pumba and BBN

Who WOULDN'T love a chicken joke?

I know what you mean about military involvements in funerals. Always makes me break down to hear "taps" and see the formality of men in uniform saluting and folding the flag for the family. So touching. I cry so easily too!

Get some rest, E.

Marita, I quoted you too...but it didn't "take". That was sweet of your son to get your food. Such a good kid!

Thanks, BigL, I am going to be both very sad for DS to leave  and excited for him to get to live his dream. It sounds like hell for the first six weeks even in Officer school. No time at all, even at night. We shall see how it goes.

Here is a pic of me and DS and and MOM from 2001. DS is now clean shaven, BTW.
Just because both of them are very much on my mind now.

Pumba -- glad your family was there for you. How many days until your trip?

Babynurse-- can't believe you got had "adventures" with a cousin. I am very think was his idea too...;)

Sandy-- I was wondering too if you were wishing for a laptop or got a new one?

Marita-- aww what a nice thing for your son to do for you. We don't want you to starve either.

Rosary making went will today with all the grade 2's. They were all so happy that they had there own rosary and could pick their colour they wanted. The boys picked aqua, orange and green. The girls all picked white, pink and purple. It was just like doing bead jewellery. The girls were very good at it for sure. We did have a few that had to be taken apart because they didn't have 10 beads spacer , an Our Father Bead ( which was a rose) and then spacer done 5 times then the other part to the cross at the bottom.

Hannah went to bed with hers so she could do it before she went to sleep.
