Wow Mommy P he is beautiful. Can't believe how big Ellie is getting.

You definitely have your hands full but I'm sure all the boys are pitching in to help out with the new one.

Enjoy , don't have to tell you how fast they grow.

Enjoy , don't have to tell you how fast they grow.

I know! My oldest just turned 13. Ethan was telling me this morning that he can't wait until Judah is old enough to go place outside with the big boys. I said,"you will be 15 when Judah is 5, so I doubt you will still be waiting to play outside with him". Time flys for sure.

And the big boys are a huge help!! I would have never made it trough the pregnancy without their help. Of course it it weren't for all of them I wouldn't use had as much to do. Haha

Ellie will be 4 in a month. :-(

Nabbie, so sorry to hear about your truck and trailer! :( Thank goodness no one was hurt.

My knee surgery is August 7th. I pushed it back a week because our work move was delayed a week. I had my pre-surgery clearance appointment Friday and that went fine. I have been doing a ton of filing and duplicate recycling at work trying to get ready for the move. I still have a couple drawers of files to go through. Not much compared to everything I've taken care of in the past month!!!

Cute pics, Mommy! Congratulations!

I had a surprise call from Nabbie today as she was passing through my area :). Great to chat with you!

Nice to hear your voice again Moo, wish we could have seen each other. Next time. Hope it didn't rain on your friends party last night. It rained off and on all the way home.

Now I have a ton of wash to do and a trailer to unpack. It is a long weekend here too but hubby has to work tomorrow and holiday Monday so we had to come back.

Glad you made it home safely, Nabbie! No rain on the birthday bash!!! Plus, we were on the screened in pitch so it probably would have been fine even if it had rained ;)

My second knee replacement surgery is coming right up -- Wednesday @11:30. Thanks in advance for any prayers/positive thoughts.

Thanks, Marita! I'm not quite as nervous as the first time, but it is still fairly nervewracking. However, I am really looking forward to being away from work for 6-8 weeks! I have told them at work that I'm leaning more toward being off 8 weeks this time if I have the same degree of bruising/swelling. It was a pain (literally) having to elevate, ice, and leave work for PT for a few weeks after going back at the 6 week point...

Moo-- will be praying for a speedy recovery.

I have been loving this weather we are having right now. Not to hot or cold , sun is shining. Couldn't ask for more. Plus no air conditioning on just open windows with a breeze. Probably jinks myself now and it will get hot as heck. :lmao:

Took it down because the article really lets people know where I live.

Basically it says my ob is barred from delivering babies because of three cases that happened in 2009 . They also said she is incompetent. She delivered Hannah by c section and they mention another c section that went wrong. So glad nothing happened to me or my beautiful Hannah.

I missed you all..

First off...a gorgeous little baby...he is adorable and glad that you are doing great..

MOO...will keep you in my thoughts and prayers for your knee surgery...hopefully you will be back to kicking butt soon..

we had a family gathering first of august and 35 people..I love to throw a shindig...we had a great time and the weather was perfect.

We have had a busy summer...Our granddaughter upped her wedding from September 14..to May '14....because she graduates in may and then two weeks after ..wedding and then a week at our favorite place..DISNEY...then back to take her boards and then a job..

She knew if she got married in september then she wouldnt feel right about leaving for a honeymoon ...
We went with her a few weeks ago and she picked out her gown..we were five of us and we didnt act like those stupid inconsiderate people on Say yes to the Dress....they all looked beautiful on her and she got the one that she loved best...that is the way it should be..

Megara had surgery and is all done her laser therapy...she had surgery four weeks ago and is still downstairs and not coming up...she has to be lifted to get into the truck and has to be on a leash outside for another six to eight weeks...she is a great baby dog and we love her to pieces..

we got air for next April for 268 per person round trip...so we are going to go to Disney early...well earlier then usual...cause gd grads on May tenth and then wedding may 24th...oy oy oy...we will need disney to relax and enjoy..

Hope you are all doing ok and I missed you all

Wow it has been almost a month since the last post.

We are a dying breed I guess or very busy.

I will plead busy. With school starting and Nicholas playing football and church stuff my calendar is pretty full.

I did pop in over on fb to check up on you all though.....

Marita -- I saw you are now in a cubicle. How is that working for you. I would miss the lush trees and surroundings at POR. Where is the building you are at now? What might it be close too?

Moo-- How is the knee coming along. I was a bit confused as to it was easy recouping this time then last time or vice versa?

Pumba-- I see you have another trip coming up in April and a wedding how exciting. I do love weddings.

Only thing new here is that Nicholas got a job at McDonalds he starts on Tuesday. He is pretty excited , he will have 11 hours the first week. That with school , football games and practices and he has volunteered to work at Hannah's youth group on Weds. for the year. I hope he can keep up with school work.

I did clean out my dresser in my bedroom a found a ten dollar bill, even though it was ours it was found money to me. It was like winning a lottery ticket. :lmao:

Nab, great to hear from you, it has been a long time.

Gotta love found money!!

Well, my news, or maybe I posted it, is that I was transferred to a brand new department (as in it never existed before) that is taking over all reporting and forecasting for Theme parks, Resorts, Downtown Disney, Water parks and mini golf for both Florida and California, with more to come next year. It's a HUGE undertaking.

Personally, I don't think it's the right thing to do, but what can you do? Anyway, I got moved over there in the Reporting section and I was pretty upset about it. But actually, I just finished my first week and it has kept me really busy and I like it so far (and I worked on stuff all last night and today because I WANTED to, not because I had to). Plus lots of other Resorts people got moved there too, so it's like old home week, and things at Port got really boring and will be more so with the forecast and reporting taken away.

My building is across the street from Disney Quest, it's called Team Disney.
At least they have a decent cafeteria thanks to the many Execs residing there, LOL.

Good luck to Nicholas, that's a whole lot of stuff to do!!!!!!

Just wrote a post and lost it. Maybe it was too long and wasn't fast enough posting.

Went home for Thanksgiving, we were all surprised to see all of us there for a change. This only happens on Christmas eve. I was just home last weekend for a funeral. My BIL lost his mother so they didn't think I would take the trek again.

I had my full of turkey and my mom's cherry cheesecake. Yummy, don't tell anyone, had a piece with dinner yesterday , then one before I went to bed and one before I left today....so bad I know. We bring leftovers home too. My mom over cooks there is 40 of us when we are together and there was leftover. :confused3

Now I am heading out for a Steak Dinner with hubby. Our 19th anniversary is tomorrow and he is working so we are going out tonight. For an anniversary gift to ourselves we traded in our pull trailer for very nice fifth wheel trailer. It is huge and we went back and forth about it. He would like to be snowbirds when he retires in about 5 years so it is like a house. We have 5 years to decide if it is the trailer for us and to pay for it too.

Happy Thanksgiving to any Canadian lurkers, any lurker for that matter these days. :lmao: My home town has Oktoberfest going on right now too. It's the place to be!

Nab, congratulations on you new home, that sounds like an awesome retirement! LOL about your mom overcooking for 40 people.

Nothing much to report here, new job is going ok, it's keeping me busy, the family is well. No news is good news, right?

No news is good news Marita.

I was putting out my Halloween stuff this afternoon and putting away my spring stuff and noticed someone stole my one sign. It was there last night when I watered my potted plant but gone today. I did have flyers left on my bistro table so my guess it was that person. It said "Weeds for Sale Pick your Own". People always commented on that sign and got a good laugh. Sad part is I bought a long time ago when we were in Maine one summer so I can't just go replace it...grrrr.

Hope all you are getting the nice weather we have been getting. Sunny and warm in the daytime and rain when we are sleeping. Can't beat that for Oct. My front Maple tree is so beautiful right now , all orange and red.

Belated Happy Thanksgiving, Nabbie! And congrats on your new fifth wheel - my hubby said a while back that he'd like to get one of those someday, but he'll also have to get a truck again to haul it ;)

My knee has healed pretty well, but it was a bit rougher going this time due to getting an infection on the incision. It was just much harder to get it to be able to bend properly :( But I had a concentrated massage on my legs a couple weeks ago and that really helped. I've been back to work almost a month. Would sure love to be retired...

Well, our trip to WDW with our DD and SIL is coming up soon. It will be David's first trip. Hope he has a good time!!! Mari was reading some blogs and got freaked out about the Food & Wine Festival drunken crowds, so we're changing our schedule to avoid Epcot over the weekend and going on a Monday instead. I really didn't think it would be that big of a problem, but we made the change anyhow. Now with the Magic Bands and Fast Pass+ reservations in advance, there was a bunch of stuff to change. Glad I didn't have to switch things around. I'm hoping to get to cross paths with Amber our last day. Unfortunately, we aren't able to stick around for the wedding festivities.

Nabbie - Be sure to let me know if you decide to visit Michigan before Christmas for some shopping so we can meet up!

Moo--Glad your knee is doing better. Hopefully even better for your trip. How exciting to show David around for the first time. Wish I was going too, almost was going to take Hannah and go but then decided to do a cruise in March when the kids are off school and the whole family can go.

Marita-- your right about the weather getting cooler but we are not in the 70's it is more like "0" some mornings. BRRR.

Going to be cold for the trick or treaters but that is ok they are all dressed up , just cold for me when I open the door. Anything but rain will be good I guess for them. We are on our second box of candy since we ate the first. Don't know why I buy so early. ;) Hannah hasn't decided if she will go out this year. I told she should next year is high school for her anyway stop then if you want. Her friends are going out so why not. Her and her dad craved 5 pumpkins the other night. Hubby wanted a lot of seeds to roast so they came home with 4 and then he got 1 free somewhere.

Clocks go back next weekend good thing it is so dark out now.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

It is going to be a wet , windy and warm one today. Poor kids we been having nice weather all week and now rain.

Moo-- sorry to hear about your puppies getting sprayed by a skunk. All I can think about is the Partridge family getting sprayed on their bus and then taking tomato juice baths. I am dating myself now. :rotfl:

The kids have had Halloween parties at there youth groups this week. Hannah dressed up as a princess. She had Belle's crown on and a red dress of her own. Nicholas dressed up as a Green Bay Packers fan complete with the cheese head he got in the summer.
