bbn - So happy to hear that your grandma is improving :grouphug: These peeps like Buble who have the audacity to get married more than once . . . geesh!!!

I never acquired a taste for Diet Coke. Now regular Coke on the other hand . . . yum, but all those calories! But I can't really drink pop any more, so no biggie!!!

Nabbie - Not much rain here, thank goodness, but the northern part of the state got hit pretty bad. I also want to see Hop. Not sure about Arthur.

Marita - You need to switch over to steak and stay away from all those carbs! Be a carnivore :)

Hi ladies (and BDG, if you're lurking).

BBN, I just realized that I missed your post about your gma. Glad to read in your latest update that she seems to be on the mend. I'll say some prayers for her.

Also, didya see that Buble's Buenos Aires home was robbed while he was in the process of getting married? Poor Michael! Guess he shouldn't have divulged so much wedding info on FB, eh?

Marita, put down the fettuccine and back away slowly! Make yourself a giant pot of vegetable soup and then you'll have food to take from home. Cook once, eat several times! Plus you'll get to control the ingredients. :thumbsup2

Moo, I haven't been watching the eagle cam, but I did tell Boris about it. He's checked their progress a couple of times, and is enjoying watching them. He never met an animal he didn't love.

Now that I have worked one full month at my new job, I will be receiving my first monthly bonus this week. New Bossman sent me an email this morning with the specifics, and I am now this guy ----->:banana::banana: It was a great way to start my week!

Awesome news re: your bonus, L!!! Glad to hear that Boris is watching the eagles a bit. Watching them is pretty addictive now that some of the eaglets have hatched. The feeding can be sort of gruesome for kids to see at first, but they can learn about the circle of life!

I was watching a bit on my smartphone today, but it kept cutting out, so I looked at the website a couple times to see how things were going. We're not supposed to look at non-work stuff, especially websites that use up a lot of bandwidth :rolleyes1 But my boss has been watching them off and on too :thumbsup2 And she's the one who got me addicted!

I am acting supervisor part of this week and have meetings the rest of the week so I can't telecommute this week. Waahhh!

morning.
didnt want to talk yet about the house .....but it was just gorgeous......immaculate....the man alone must be a clean freak.....he had a long hair coon cat and not even a piece of cat hair could be found......but there was no way we could enlarge the kitchen or the living room......can you say dinky.....it was big in the bedrooms but not the living space....one chair ...one tv and a gas fireplace.......that was all could fit in the room.
SOOOOOO on to look at more .....There is one but we are hesitant to go and look at it because it is a short sale....has a gazebo and a hot tub in the yard...nice layout ...two car garage.....short sale again .....so we will think before we go ....
Today we have a doggy vet visit...she has to have a kennel cough shot before going to the kennel.....and heartworm test and lyme and then get her meds for heartworm and her thryroid meds ...then she is good to go to Puppy Penn....
she will be upset today ..
rain again today....yesterday it poured and today said heavier downpours...WELL at least this is good for looking at other peoples cellars.....we can see if it leaks.......hahaha.
have a good day my friends

My gma had a setback, but hopefully she will bounce back soon. Thank you for the good thoughts and prayers.

Awww poor Michael got robbed on his wedding day. Why are people so $ucky???

I have a day off today! woot. I am going to Olive Garden with a friend and then some shopping and then I will stop by the hospital to visit with gma.

Have a good one.:)

Lynt: Since you got a raise feel free to contribute to my gambling fund. Tia.

bdg

Dearest BBN and BDG, the check is in the mail. No, really. :rolleyes1

Actually, in light of my increase in salary and the fact that I will now be getting a nifty monthly bonus, I am about to begin the campaign to convince Big Daddy that we should take another trip to WDW. Wish me luck on that one. His first instinct is always to say no, but I can be pretty persuasive when I want to be. Besides, secretly he WANTS me to convince him. ::yes::

BBN, still praying for gma. It's nice that you are able to stop in and visit her...I'm sure that gives her something to look forward to. Is she in the same hospital where you work?

Pumba, sorry yet another house was a bust. There is one out there for you, really!

Lynt, Yay for the bonus and another trip

BBN, prayers for gma

Well, another forecast almost done, to be finished by noon tomorrow. This one was particularly ugly for technical reasons that would make your eyes glaze over... Anyway. got home at almost 9, then attempted to fix the issues as best I could, but to no avail. Let's just say a lot of copy-paste value is involved rather than just update links, GRRRRRR!!!!!

Lynt, I think I may make some chicken fricassee, that should be fairly low calorie, maybe (does rice and boiled with skin count for much??) Anyway, that wont happen till this weekend anyway, sigh...

So, another joyful day in store for me tomorrow, can't wait

Just thought that we would be able to walk in a place and say ..YUP lets sign...but is 5 houses alot to look at .....or am I being to silly to think that we will walk into the right one....
Waiting for an email for us to see another one....but because people are still in it we have to make an appointment....

Last night we did do a drive by.....that is what we call it....and the house was adorable from the outside....good size garage......huge huge back yard.........BUT the water situation all around the whole area....must be a swamp area....the side yards on both sides of this one particular house was unreal...water water water..like we could put knee high boots on and be glad that we did...

THE SUN IS OUT BY THE WAY.......YIPPEE.....but glad to be able to see houses after three days of rain and I mean RAIN.....

3 weeks and a few days and voila.....I can hardly wait.

Babynurse-- sorry to hear you grandma is sick. I will keep her in my papers.

I have spent the last two days at the hospital with Nicholas. He woke up yesterday with stomach pains . I thought it was his appendix but it wasn't that. They really don't know what it is. They did blood work, chest x ray yesterday and an ultra sound today. He is feeling a little better today so he is home. Couldn't find anything so they said we have to wait it out. If it comes back they will do Upper GI thing but they didn't want to do that to him since he seems to be doing better and a kid. That made Nicholas happy. He is on a bland diet and some acid reducing pills for a week. So he is home with me for the rest of the week. I am hoping it was just a bug and now is going away. But it did scare me he looked so bad.

Pumba-- We looked at a lot of houses before we moved into this one. Builders were on strike and we needed a house fast so we settled on this one. Hubby would have liked more space in and out.

Moo-- I am with you about Courtney going home. She has done so well and some of those girls really don't need to be there anymore.

Marita-- I hear you on the eating, I need to step away too.

Lynette-- glad you are liking your new job so and extra money doesn't hurt either.

my great niece had a stomach issue with horrible pains and they brought her to the doctor and er and they said it was viral.....go figure........the kid was in distress.

We are enjoying the sun and it is pouring in here and Megara is looking out the window and enjoying it.....I opened it a little to let the fresh air in and the bad air out.

Hope nichalas feels better fast......give him a Pig huggy

NAB=- how scary. I hope Nicholas is on the mend quickly. :hug

Token mention of Babynurse. :rolleyes1:littleangel:

Congrats on the bonus Lynt!

You know how I have been sick forever. I thought it was a virus but I just can not get energy back and this cough will not go away. I finally went to a "professional" and I have bronchitis and a sinus infection. :headache:

Twinkie, wow, how suck is that? Hope you got some good drugs to put you on the mend. Can't imagine being sick and having to deal with 6 kids, yikes!!

Nab, how scary about Nicolas! Hope he gets well soon.

My day sucked bigtime. Forecast, what can I say? I was not a good experience this month...

2 more days till the weekend, 2 more days till the weekend, 2 more.....

Hi y'all! Thanks for the congrats on Le New Job and its many benefits! :thumbsup2

NAB, yikes on Nicholas' stomach issues! I'll add him to my prayers...let's hope he's one mend now.

Marita, I hear you now on the forecasting. Le New Boss wants a quarterly physical inventory and forecast projection based on that. (yawn) Crazybossman never conducted a physical inventory --NOT ONCE-- in the six years I worked for him. I've got to get back in the groove of working for someone who knows what he's doing AND does the right thing business-wise.

1. Congrats on the bonus Lynt!

2. You know how I have been sick forever. I thought it was a virus but I just can not get energy back and this cough will not go away. I finally went to a "professional" and I have bronchitis and a sinus infection. :headache:

1. Thanks, Twink!!! :banana::banana:

2. Well, apparently your medical diagnostic skillz are sorely lacking. Perhaps you could eke out time to get your M.D. while raising your children and planning imaginary trips to the World? Just a thought.....

Wait. Perhaps you'd do better to rely on the professional medical training of your sister wife? Use your family connections, woman!

Moo, Boris and Natasha are both enjoying watching the eagle cam. Those eagles need an agent!

Pumba, keep your eyes peeled (geez, that's kind of a gross expression, isn't it?). There's got to be a house out there that'll fit the bill. :)

Nabbie - I had been wondering where you were the past couple days! Sorry to hear that Nicholas was in the hospital. Hope it was just a bug and that he is feeling good soon :grouphug: Did they check him for Crohn's/colitis or anything like that?

I wish Kaylee had been the one to go home this week :( I read Bob's comments and he said what he has said about a lot of people who have a lot of weight to lose, that he just wishes there were a way for them to stay longer to get the help they need. You'd think that the producers would take note of this since has been a continuing issue for certain people, like Shay and Daniel. Hopefully they will do something for Courtney like the Subway deal Shay got . . . and maybe even Arthur as well (although, unlike Courtney, he was a game player so I didn't feel quite so bad about him being sent home). Debbie, the coworker who got me into watching BL (can't really call her a friend any more, unfortunately), has always said that she thinks they should have a season where no one goes home so there is less game-playing and everyone gets to stay at the ranch the whole time and really see how well they can do. I'm getting to the point where I agree with that!

Twink - I had a bout of bronchitis earlier this year and it was nasty! At least mine wasn't coupled with a sinus infection :headache: Glad you figured out what is going on and are on the road to recovery soon. That coughing sure can wear you out. We've had several people at work that have had bad cases of bronchitis this winter/spring

Pumba - Good thing you were able to see that house under some worst case conditions! Wonder if their basement is wet?!

bbn - Sending more prayers for your grandma

Just had a house flood. Somehow the washer started puking out water. All of the tile portions of my house were under 1+ inches and in the bedrooms and living/dining room the water soaked about a foot into the carpet. Worse in the bedrooms because it followed the baseboard down the walls 6+ feet. I used all my towels(minus a couple I left for us to use to shower tonight) and have all my fans running at full blast. I'm waiting on my sister to get here with more towels and fans. I am a little worried about the amount of water that is under the tile/baseboards and what it's going to do.

But at least I don't have bronchitis and a sinus infection. :thumbsup2

Sorry to hear about your flooding, MommyP! Hope it dries out and you don't have any damage :goodvibes

Lynette - I didn't get to see much of the eagles today between the cam being down and my phone not transmitting the images very well :( I peeked a bit during the work day, but didn't see anything too exciting due to my phone limitations. Should be fun to watch the babies grow though!!!

UGHHH! My post got eaten!

MP, Yikes on the flood, majorly sucks!

Finally a better day after horrible forecast. Khaki and I went walking the property today for 45 mins, armed with trash pickers (courtesy of GM who insists every manager has one). Ran into a guy with an Ipad who was trying to check on a bank transfer on his Ipad and got a User Name and password prompt and was frustrated. I had to inform him he had to pay $9.95/day to get to the internet, he was none too happy and decided to just call them.

All in all I have to say, TGIF tomorrow!!!

I am hoping what Nicholas has is viral too. He still has pains but not like Tuesday. I am going to let him have some normal food today and see how he fairs. He's been on plain broth etc. I really don't like him taking to many Tylenol 3's either so I told him the pain has to be really bad and not managable. Yesterday he took 2 total not every 4 hours like the other days. See what today brings.

Mommy P-- I can imagine the mess you have from the water. You don't have any hardwood do you? That would warp pretty bad.

Marita-- Do you mean they make you pick up garbage when you walk? I can see picking up a can or water bottle and dropping it in a trash can but to have a picker upper thing that seems weird....

Suppose to be really nice temp. wise this weekend , hope they are right. I put the boots and shovels away yesterday.

do you have a wet vac.....we always have had one for the cellar and it works great in a pinch.suck up the water on the carpet and then empty it outside......we did that a few times in our life....HAHAHAH.....

Nab how is your little man today......hope he is feeling better....maybe better say BIG man..

Marita.....so you do trash pick up too.....way to go.......hahahaha.

Another nice day here.....so we will be going for a walk in a few minutes.....wanted to check out you guys.

see ya later gators
