Weird red welts?

I hate being without internet. Glad yours was fixed fast and didn't have to come out.

It is indeed Monday. Don't know what is going on with my alarm clock, this is the second time it screwed up. Woke up 10 minutes late today. My clock was set for pm not am. :confused3 Either one of my kids are playing a trick or I need a new clock.

Also cloudy and trying to rain today so I could have sleep on for longer. Might have a nap and I just got up...

Pumba - I got my nose pierced in August. Chad has been asking me to do it for years now and since I lost so much weight and feel so good I decided I was ready to get it done. I LOVE it!

Ellie's Tutu Dress - It's done! I could have used more tulle, but made it work with what I had 100 yards. lol. It was a roll 6 inches x 100 yards. I cut it into 39 inch pieces and tied them onto a piece of 1 inch elastic and then cut 6 inch pieces of green tulle and tied it onto every 2-3 pieces of orange tulle. So easy. So flippin' cute. I have half a mind to put it on craigslist.com for 30 bucks and see if anyone bites. ;o) When I get her in it I will take photos.

Dang, my post got swallowed again!!

MP, putting the costume on bid sounds great, cn't lose
Nab, I have the alarm clock challenge every day of my life, sigh!
I joined a message board for the cruise, hoping to at least meet a few people for a pre-sail meet, I dont think hubby and son will have any interest. They are mostly older couples that have cruised many times. some as many as 50!!!!!!!!!!! Wish I had that kind of time and money....

Big news of the day: Knitfreak's baby shower is canceled, she got admitted to the hospital today, and she is not even due till November 12th. From what I heard today, her blood pressure is really high and meds are not controlling it, but she is supposedly in good spirits. So please keep her in your thoughts.

Where's Moo?

Nab - I watched the Amazing Race today. Holy cow, that poor gal! I can't imagine how badly that must have hurt.

Marita - I hope everything goes okay for Knitfreak. That is pretty early to have her baby, but if they can't control her BP they'll have to take the baby.

Marita-- I was thinking the same as about the baby. Hope everything works out ok for her and the baby. Did you find out what the welts were? I went on the Dis meet board too for our cruise , these people just check in and that is it. Pretty quiet over there. Guess I won't get to know them before the cruise.

Mommy P-- I know wasn't that something else. I don't know how she finished the task. She kept saying I can't feel my face. Surprised she didn't break her jaw or nose.

It has been raining off and on all day. Giving me a migraine.

But headache or not I have to run Hannah to Guides and Nicholas to swimming. Two totally different directions. :sad2:

Good TV night to , I will have to record Biggest Loser.

Last edited by NAB; Today at 05:49 PM. Reason: Yes , where is Moo?
Watching Biggest Loser and all the other new shows that are on right now! ;)

Also, this is end of fiscal year time for me at work and I just haven't felt like posting, but I have been reading. Things should settle down soon.

Hi Moovers! It's been a while! Sounds like y'all are well and busy. Things are just this side of chaos around here, but I wanted to pop in and say hey!

A brief recap of my recent happenings:

Boris' birthday was Sunday....he's 11! Now how the heck did THAT happen? :confused3 Also: YAY! His birthday coincided with his Boy Scout Arrow of Light weekend. Apparently, this is a big honkin deal in the world of Scouting. He was pretty happy that his friends made a big deal of singing happy birthday around the campfire, and all the other dens at the campground (about 200 boys with their dads!) joined in as well. :goodvibes

Boris and Natasha's test results from their standardized tests arrived today. The scores indicate a high level of geniusosity (duh). I am a super-proud mama!

Busy season is upon us at work, and one of my co-workers (there were only 3 of us!) got a nifty new job and left for greener pastures. So my remaining co-worker and I are stuck with 2 noobs who don't know what they're doing. Makes for loooooooonnnnnnggg days. And Crazybossman gets exponentially more annoying during busy season. Gah.

To much going on all at once here, stressing me out.
And I feel like I am not getting anything done around here.
DITTO! Well said, NAB!

I'm glad to hear that Nicholas is better. A concussion is a scary thing!

I am a night owl, so going to bed early for me is a chore!!

Oh, me too! I can stay up until the wee hours and be productive and in a great mood, but I am NOT a morning person!

Marita, YAY on your cruise! What itinerary did you choose? popcorn::

Moo, Sorry about the lapse in our games! I get withdrawals when I don't get the chance to play my turn too! :rotfl:

MommyP, check out Kenzie's Treasures on FB. The woman who makes the merchandise is the daughter of an imaginary friend I met on a review site I write for. (Got that? ;)) She has some adorable stuff!

Twink, LOVED the pics over yonder! Is Princess No Naps going to be her official 'Knickname'? I likey!

Okay, gotta get my rumpus to bed so I can be up with the birds. Blech.

Be well and behave, ladies!

We didnr relly choose an itinary, just what was availble whe son was and where he could go(i.e. not Mexco in Military). From what I read, Bud Light bought out 3 days and RC put on this special cruise to fill out the week, 4 nights, 1 day on a private Island, but it souns of tons of stuff to do on the ship, minigolf, surfing, casino, ice rink, boxing (????????????), ice skating, shows, Karaoke, and theyhave a promade on the ship.
I think about the only thing i m up for is eating, haha, with my bird appetite. but perhapsmeeting some of the folks on the chat board will help.

Oh and I need help! i need suggestions for reading material for the cruise. I read Twiligh series last time. I want something light, vaction reading.

PS: welts are reducing, never did make it to a doctor

Marita: When I left Florida, I came home with several welts on my face that took weeks to go away. I chalked it up to the sweat from the heat that blocked my pores.

MP: I wanna see a picture of that dress, is it on the other site?

Crazy busy is kinda the norm. I wonder if it can get any busier?

I need to schedule an apt with my advisor so I can have a clearer picture of busy.

Zack may have an absess in his mouth, going to dentist later today. He also needs an echo cardio graph for a heart murmer. I'm fearing that he might be getting Mono again, there are some signs of it, but I am not convinced enough to take him to the dr., yet.

I'm waiting on an ASI consult from the school for my oldest son. I signed the form aug 31 and they have 30 school days to comply. I asked for this last school year and they "forgot" to have me sign the form. THAT makes me nuts when the school "forgets" to follow the law. And their butts get covered over me not signing the form. My bad for not knowing there was a form to sign.

All I do is homework, homework, homework. BUT for the first time I am learning what I will need to know in the classroom. So, I am very interested and not bothered by any of it. How cool is that?

Thats all folks!

finally bought some banana nut bread mix since hubby had 5 (count 'em FIVE!) perfectly suited bananas, just the right stage. So I come home today, and he THREW THEM OUT! GONE! So I am baking some without bananas... GRRRRR (copied from FB, sorry for repetion)

Well, I called in sick today. I woke up late and was totally wiped out. Wiped out, I telled you. I recovered enough by afternoon to FINALLY get nails done (most boring 1 1/2 hrs EVAH), and did some work befoe that too. Trying to get some crruise details ironed out, DS finally sent me the confirmation number, but I havent checked it out yet. I'm so tired, vacation cant come soon enough!! 4 days without email, not even a chance to check it out (well, if you dont count internet cafe, but I am NOT going there)

Okay here is a mini photo shoot I did with Ellie in her pumpkin tutu dress. I am no photographer and she is a pain in the butt when you bring out a camera. A PEST. She will not stand still or smile.

The first couple are in the sun and really sunny. lol. I tried to get her out of the sun, but it took some time. If it looks like she is standing still, she isn't she is running toward me. lol

Running away and laughing about it.
SEPT2010022.jpg

Running away back into the sun.

Finally after a gazillion pictures I said, "Ellie why do you hate me?" And she turned around and stopped running. LOL.

MP: That is just oozing adorable!!!!! Love it!

Marita: Get some rest!

Hi, nothing new here, same stuff different day.

Mommy P-- that is so cute!!! She makes a great pumpkin. I think people would buy that from you!

Spent the day at the school counting money from Power Hour. Going back tomorrow to count pizza lunch money. Amazing how some parents think you can just put the childs first name on an envelop and assume what child is yours. :sad2: Even if they list the teacher , more then one in the class. Fun I tell you.

MommyP, that dress is adorable (as is Eillie), I'm sue you could make some money with that.
Nab, when I named my kids there was not another Christopher or Nicole around, and suddenly they sprang out all over, LOL.

I have been so tiired lately, I almost fell asleep driving home today. Not good! I guess I should try to go to sleep? But trouble with that too. Snd then I can't wake up,:headache:

My dear son in law is coming over at 3 so he can pick up the loaner and return it to the dealership and bring home our truck that had to be checked on a few things..
My dear dog broke four slates on the mini blinds on the side door......taped those together so no one could see in....

That's a lot of meat...how long will that last ?

Spent day to at the school counting money. They had an assembly today and both kids won an award for the Virture of Respect. So proud. Hannah also won a gift card to Walmart and Nicholas a t-shirt from the Power Hour fundraiser that we had ( that is why I was counting money). So all and all a good day here. Maybe I will even take them to McDonalds to celebrate. That way I don't have to cook again. :thumbsup2

Cloudy sleepy kind of day.

Between Girl Guide stuff and Nicholas wanted something at the mall the day went fast.

I now know what the colour theme of our family picture is this year, purple. Got Hannah a purple dress that was 30% off and the guys ties were 50% off. Now to find me something to wear. I must say though I think purple is the colour for this fall it is everywhere.

Well, I dont know about 2 posts, but I have one. New job yet again, moving to Port Orleans October 11. My stress level should go down dramatically, plus a shorter drive to work. I worked there before briefly in 2000-2001, less than a year and just loved it there.

Pumba, that's a heck of a lot of meat!

I finally got my home network secured with a password (thanks to help from Linksys and DD). But nobody really can get info from your compiuter, just get online for free. But I think I am really going to tick off a neighbor. Since I got my new router I kept getting messages that a new computer logged onto my network when neither DD or hubby were on, so that was kind of creepy. Hope my house doesn't get egged!
